They meant the world to him, but part of him thought they had been captured by the human beings as well and were still stuck. Sighing softly, the large, purple stallion looked up to the rainbow he had followed one of his butterfly friends to before he spoke in a pleading tone, "My brother... I would love to see him once again. I want to know that he and the rest of my family are safe. He looked up to me and I just left him. How selfish..." Papillon still hadn't forgiven himself, but he never told anyone of his family. It was a sensitive subject. "I just wish to see him to plead for forgiveness and to show him I never meant to hurt him. If you could point him in my direction, I would be forever grateful." Would you like for it to be tikified?: brighter/tropical colors or pacific tattoos

A representation of the power of love giving them wings. Was made by Kyran to give to Crown as a sign of his commitment and true feelings for him. Short IC Response: Kyran lay with Crown in the shade of a tree, looking over at the other sleeping stallion, he didn't get how Crown slept most of the day away, it was far too hot for him to do so. Trying to stretch a little now that he was no longer Crowns fluffy pillow he couldn't help but smile. Looking out from their perch, through the light summer drizzle that gave his fluffy self some relief from the heat into the clouded sky. His expression brightening into one of joy as a few shafts of persistent sunlight pushed through the clouds, bringing with them a rainbow, as strong and vivid as any he had ever seen. Looking back to Crown he wondered if his usually nocturnal love had ever seen one before? He doubted it and leaned over to try and nudge him awake. "Crown... Crown... Hey look... Crown look and see... A rainbow...." Crown didn't stir, obviously far to absorbed in his sleep, he sighed softly and couldn't help but chuckle. He supposed he should be flattered, after all, it obviously meant that Crown trusted him if he could allow himself to sleep so deeply. The rain slowed. He watched quietly, the rainbow not fading like he expected it would. Glancing at Crown again, thinking somewhat whimsically that there must be something special about this rainbow. Shifting his gaze between the rainbow and Crown several thoughts started to bubble forth. He didn't try to wake Crown up again, not wanting to disturb the guy, especially as this was a total flight of whimsy and he really didn't want to be laughed at. He started moving away only to notice the treasure he had been making over the last few weeks. Picking it up he wandered a short distance away from the tree and Crown, setting the treasure down at his hooves before looking up at the Rainbow again. "I wish Crown could see you.... I'm not sure if he has ever seen a rainbow before being a night owl... You know I love him.... I'm not sure if I've actually told him it that plainly yet... He knows that I like him, a lot.... I've been working on this thing.... I wanted to give it to him when I told him properly...." Nudging the string bound stone heart with his nose, having been careful to get Crowns feathers when they shed, having needed the right sizes. "Not the most amazing gift, but I'm not an artisan, the only thing I know how to make is a mess..." Laughing a little at his self deprecation. "I guess I'm starting to feel silly about talking to a rainbow, but I just felt that there was something special about you, its not something you expect to see, a rainbow lingering in the sky after the rain has gone... I... I guess I just wish that I knew what Crown wanted... I'd give him anything... anything at all if he wanted it...." Looking back to Crown for a moment before squaring his shoulders and looking back at the rainbow. "If I could have one wish, any wish... I wish for Crown to have whatever it is that will make him the most happy, whatever gift or thing it is he wants that I can't give him.... That would be my wish... If I could have that.... I'd gladly give you this attempt of mine at making something to show my love and commitment to him... Its not the most amazing thing that could be given.. I know that... but I've been working on it bit by bit.... Its finished now... you could have it rainbow if you can grant that wish... Give crown his hearts desire... whatever it is." With that he ran out of words and stood looking out over the land and the rainbow that lit the sky with its colours. Wishing silently and with all his heart that he could give Crown everything he might want. His small but precious offering sat in the grass by his hooves, weeks of patient secret work, wanting to show the one he loves that there was no other for him and that his heart had grown wings since they had met... It had wings but it would never fly away from Crown, it was bound to him more deeply than either of them had realised. All the symbolism of his feelings in one small carefully thought out trinket. Would you like for it to be tikified?: Yes - But only the colours and the Tattoo's please. Also, since rainbows are much loved for 'gay pride' we welcome them also. NB: We also welcome 'twins'.

Fish bones that have been tied together to make a necklace, the work probably done by a native Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing rainbow when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?This was silly. Delusional, even. How could a rainbow, an untouchable thing in the sky, grant wishes? That made no sense. But then that was how all magic worked, when you got right down to it.
But what could someone like him want? Didn't he have everything? A loving mate, kids that made him proud, and a home he could see himself happily living at until the day he died?
He thought about this as he lay the offering down at his seeing-spot. This was a strange place, and it had been the farthest journey he had taken since he left his herd. Yet he still thought of that lake realm of superiority and hate. His family and their allies were cruel and fearsome. 'True' Kelpis. Among them, however, there had been one ally for Mar himself. One less crueler a being that had given him some support during his younger days.
His sister. The only one he missed out of all of them, whom he had left behind in his exile and escape from that awful place.
"I just want to see her again." He said to the rainbow, to himself, to no one. "I'd like to know if she's still...okay. She'd want to meet her nieces and nephew, I think. Maybe I could even get her to see the world for what it is beyond fish and fighting." Mar's words trailed off, and he stared at the ground for a few moments.
"I miss her. I really do. And...I guess that's all I have to say about it." He nodded a small thank you at the rainbow, and began his journey back to his own lake.Would you like for it to be tikified?: Yes!

A True FriendWho is Wishing?:  Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Edmund was quite an odd fellow he was unlike the others with his features. He looked up to the sky briefly before hiding his face not sure what to do. He nudged a teacup cracked down the middle and a plate forward before looking back up at the sky. "I wish i had a good friend..Like those i knew back in madness.." he closes his eyes and wished with his heart "Sky..could you grant me that one wish for someone like me..? Someone who can relate?"

Ever since I came to these new lands, I have been by myself and it's just plain boring when you don't have anyone around that you can have fun with! I have yet to meet a decent soquili that I can call my friend or even my "bffl" if you will. Seeing how I have a wild, party girl type personality {once I break out of my skittish and cautious nature at first but trust me, my skittish ways don't last very long], I'm just looking for another soquili that I can just have a good time with; someone that I can take out with me to have a good time and just have fun with. Or hell, even a friend that's the complete opposite of me but I can mold her into the kind of friend I want her to be and can proudly call her my 'minion.' A soquili I can consider to be my 'right hand b***h,' you know? But don't get me wrong, I don't want my new friend to outshine me in anyway {I'm totes a jealous soquili when it comes to others outshining me.}. My new buddy must be as short as me, seeing how I'm a fairly short soquili to begin with. I wouldn't want my new friend to tower over me like a giant nor should my friend be any smaller than I am because then I wouldn't want to be towering over them!! Oh sure, I'll eventually backstab them down the road- whether it be in my favorite form of boyfriend stealing or something more serious than that- but she'll just have to suck it up and get over it. I admit, I may not sound like I have the qualities of 'best friend material' but hey, I can't be the only soquili out there that doesn't do that to a friend once in a while; I'm not perfect you know. In the end, however, we'll forgive each other and just continue on with our lives together as two peas in a pod; well, that is until I pull another one of my little stunts again, anyway. -smiles-

Two scales, one shed from her own back and one from her son, Xuan Teo. Short IC Response: It was not her first time, staring up at something beyond her reach, trinkets of offering at her hooves. Her second trip to the wishing star had proven as poignantly unfulfilling as the first, and afterwards it stung when she heard talk on the winds of yet even more pleas granted that weren't her own. Still, it had perhaps fostered a belief in the unknown in her. When Doan Vien heard about this rainbow to the gods, she'd come out to make yet another desperate wish.
Again she offered the same thing. Two scales, one green tinted and one blue. Similar in size and shape, it was apparent that the donors were related. "Rainbow. I've been looking for my daughter for so many years now. Please help guide her here to me, across the ocean. My family will never be wholly complete without her."
It was still as hard as ever, looking up to the sky so foolishly, muttering wishes to a star and now a rainbow. Still, she couldn't give up. Not on Hong Yen Ha. "I only hope these small pieces of my son and me will help her find us no matter the distance."Would you like for it to be tikified?: Sure, but prefer the brighter/tropical/tiki more than tattoos, though.

Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? Light green orbs looked towards the sky as she caught a glimpse of the rainbow. Lorelei stared at the sky for a moment, a puzzled look feel upon her delicate frame. She had heard about this rare occurrence though only thought of it as mere superstition; a mere foals tale. A rainbow that, if you make a wish and if you’re lucky enough, your wish will come true sounded quite ridiculous and unrealistic to her though it seemed her curiosity got the best of her. Perhaps it was true and that somehow, this single rainbow can actually grant wishes. If this was true, well there was defiantly one wish Lorelei was willing to ask: She would wish for her baby sister back. After having her herd being invaded by a mix of races ranging from cold, evil regulars to bloodthirsty and merciless kalonas, it seemed as though her baby sister was the target in this attack; thus being kidnapped. After that night, Lorelei had never heard of or seen her sister. She went through sleepless nights wondering how her sister was, going out on endless searches trying to scout out her whereabouts but failed in the end. To this day, the memories still haunt her and she never has given up hope on finding her sister, though in her heart, she knows that her sister is long gone and that her demise was done by the hands of her heartless kidnappers. Sighing, Lorelei moved quickly to where she last saw the rainbow. It was time to put this superstition to the test and see if her wish would come true or not. "Oh dear Wishing Rainbow," she said softly as she shifted back and forth uncomfortably. She found it kind of strange that she was talking to a rainbow but she wanted to see what the hype was all about. "I offer to you the cloth that I wear in exchange for my one wish." She untied the loose cloth that draped around her neck and placed it in front of her. "I ask of you, wishing rainbow, one thing. Please listen to my wish. I wish for my baby sister's return. I just want to see her smiling face once more after all these years. I want to know that she is alright and that she had escaped the prison in which she was trapped in for all these years. I just want to know that she is looking for me as I still am searching for her. I just wish for her safe return and that we can be together once again; just like how it was when we were young... " She heaved a heavy sigh and closed her eyes as she turned to walk away. All she could do now was just wait.

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing rainbow? A strand of bio-luminance glow-worms and leaf from Branson's live necklace.
Short IC Response: It was raining, Makutu loved the rain, there was something about the smell of it which excited her. She had emerged from the network of caves she inhabited to walk around at leisure above the ground, the rain sinking into her skin, and the smell of wet earth rising to her nostrils. It was dawn, she didn't like being above ground during the day and soon she would head back underground, but something caught her attention before she turned for home, a rainbow, weak as the rain wasn't all that heavy, but a rainbow none the less and it was cause for a smile.
There was a legend, not known to all, but Makutu was well travelled and though wasn't superstitious there were things she'd seen in life which simply couldn't always be explained by what most would say were reasonable explanations. Her thoughts went to the strange stallion she had meet on occasion during her evening walks above ground, and she quietly made a wish to the rainbow, then turned for home, not giving it much more thought than that.
Would you like for it to be tikified?: Yes! Makutu has a Ta Moko tattoo on her lower lip and throat, like tradition Maori women, so I'd love to see more of that.

A True FriendWho is Wishing?:  Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Evander is strong, proud, and loyal, especially to his friends; basically anyone kind enough to receive his respect. He enjoys protecting and taking care of others, though he has a hard time with healing and is never able to get to the root of the problem. He has somewhat of a hero complex, but that only makes him more gentle and understanding... Still, he just hasn't found anyone willing to be his constant traveling companion. 10 Things I Like: 1. Bone markings 2. Jewelry 3. Bits and pieces of armor 4. Long, beautiful hair 5. Light colors 6. Braided or tied up mane/tail 7. STEAMPUNK accessories 8. Her wool mouse. Short IC Response: Bella had been playing in the grass with her little toy when she noticed a colorful light stretch over her and fill the sky. A strange and yet warm feeling filled her as she looked up at the sky. It seemed that a rainbow had appeared without the need of rain. Her head tilted in curiosity because since she arrived here, she heard the stories. "I wonder if you can even hear me...but if you can I do have a wish for you to listen to." She spoke the words aloud as she traveled closer to the water, her long and fluffy tail swaying behind her. "I become terribly alone playing by myself, I wish that I had a sister to play with, someone to share my secrets too." She looked up at the rainbow and almost thought she saw a being on the beam. The mare blinked her eyes and shook her head, that would be ridiculous. "I would travel far and wide just to find her, just to have someone to call family. I long to have someone dear to my heart and to share my things with. I might be selfish but I would share everything with my sister and be there to protect her." She spoke the words with honesty and it was truly how she felt inside her heart, she was tired of roaming the lands alone. "Please I beg of you to grant me just this one wish, I don't want to be alone any more." She looked up at the rainbow once more and when she went down to pick up the mouse from the ground, she noticed the light was dimming. "I offer this trinket to you! It means a lot to me because it brings joy and safety into my life, so please accept my offering and grant my wish!" She spoke rather quickly because she wanted her words to be heard and not have them fall on deaf ears. "I don't know where it is that it came from, but I have had it ever since I could remember! I will gladly offer it up to you just to have a best friend and a sister by my side!" She was yelling out her words now with such emotion, she didn't even know she had it inside her, she quickly placed the trinket into the water and watched it float away. Inside her mind, she hoped that it would reach the end of the rainbow, where ever it might be and that her wish could be granted. Would you like for it to be tikified?: No
