Ferrian squaked in outrage, growling back at his mother and leaping to attack her flakes. He laughed and growled, dropping into a crouch with his tail lashing the air.
Kall grinned and took another few steps into the cave, to better watch the play fight.
Dashira stretched, smiling at her large paws. She had grown. In the warmth of the sun, some ethereal presence touched her side and she froze. The soft breath of a lion ghosted down her spine, and a masculine chuckle echoed in her ears.
'Be at peace little one.' He whispered. 'Thou knows I mean no harm. Yes?'
Dashira nodded. "Yes."
'Good.' He said, giving a smile. 'I merely come to bestow a gift, if you will accept it?'
Dashira could feel his smile, and nodded. 'Yes...'
He gave a final chuckle, and breathed upon her ear. 'Until we meet again.'
Dash shook her head, feeling the weight of the silver cuff. 'Until we meet again.'
((The Lavender is one of Dashira's Guides.. He is an Angelic white male.. In case anyone is curious.. He will be further discussed in her journal. ))

Nuika nodded, her eyes wide with excitement as she stared at all the places she could hide. "Want to hide first?" She asked, already scanning for places to look.

"Sure! No peeking!" Keyisha scrambled over the rocks, looking for a good place to hide. The stones were slightly slippery from the waterfall but she was so used to it.
The Princess spotted a good hiding place and darted in, supressing her giggles.

A lone feathered figure circled in the sky. Aseeri -Daugher of Wind and Sky- eyed the PrideLands below her, feeling the pull of the being who needed her. She was a young thing, just beyond a fledgeling in the eyes of her kind, but as she left their flock to join her Shaman, she had heard the whisper of envy. That, more than anything, had made her go to Serenity. As she glided about overhead, she smiled at the sight. It truly was a charming land. "I shall be happy here..." She murmured to herself, and with a tilt of her wings, she spiraled down to land on the branch of a tree. Kallivenion waded out of his pool, as he did every morn, his coat stained a deep mahogany. He gave himself a shake, loosing the water in a spray of diamonds, and gave a mighty roar, startling a flock of white birds into the sky. Their presence told him where a herd was, and he trotted in that direction, wondering what type of meat would be found. 'The King.' Aseeri decided to herself. A flash of color and movement drew her back toward the cave, then along the rock wall. Dashira nosed aside the bush and crept out of her secret cave, covering it again. She stretched in the golden sunlight, shaking her head and giving a yawn. The sun glinted on her earing, her gift from Asfodel, and she danced in place. 'What to do today?' Aseeri jumped on her branch, cocking her hear and eyeing the cub. 'And so... The Student appears...' She eyed the young lioness. "So young to have a Badge of Rank." She murmured to herself. "She must be something special. As if hearing her words, the young cub froze and eyed the greenery, picking out the pink, yellow, green, blue, pink and red marked bird. "Featherhead watching.. What does the pretty bird see?" Dashira inquired at a low growl. "Featherhead watching, Messenger of Tierany?" Aseeri spread her wings and flew over to the little female, landing on a rock nearby. "You are the Shaman?" Dashira's eyes narrowed. "Who sent you pretty bird? Then we shall talk of whom you are seeking." "None sent me." Aseeri sniffed. "I come in seek of the Shaman, who's powers called me." Dashira considered the response, and nodded once. "I am the Shaman.. Dashira, 2nd Princess of Cyan Serenity, Student of Asfodel." "Well Dashira..." The bird chirruped. "I am Aseeri.. And I believe we shall be speaking for some time." Dashira nodded. "So we shall."

Nuika giggles as she counted. "One... Two.... Three..." It took her a while, but soon she had reached one hundred. "...Ninety nine... One hundred!" She shouted, pouncing up and looking around. "Ready or not, here I come!"
Nuka slipped and slided on the rocks as she made her advancement on Keyisha, speaking out loud to herself, a habit she had developed out on the savannah. "Nope... not there... wonder where she'd hide... Over there?" She pounced a rock. "Gotch--- nope. Never mind." After checking many places, she sighed, and lifted her head into the air.
It was there. She got a whiff of Keyisha. A grin adorned her features. She had forgotten about smelling her out. In an instand, Nuika was on her trail, and then sniffing at her paws. She looked up, her blue eyes dancing with excitement. "I think I gotcha."

As they spoke, Dashira noticed her sister had dissappeared, and Nuika was prowling around. She smiled. "Hide and Go Seek?" She murmured, watching the flashy female trot about in search of her playmate. "Oh dear..." Keyisha was great at hiding.... Ferrian was terrible, but he sat just within the cave entrance, grinning like a fool, watching the game in progress. "Are you paying attention?" Asseri snapped. Dashira smiled. "Sorry.. Yes... Go on."

Background info: Rellick had heard that in the mountains one of his mother's best friends dwelled. Kallivenion, now a king, was the first Rellick wished to establish as an ally. The chocolate and cyan lion's pride lived in the mountains, beyond Rackna's lands, basking in the calm that was cyan serenity.
Kallivenion stalked through his lands, large paws meeting sand and stone with no sound. He moved through the golden and green grasses as a chocolate shadow, racing the comming night, searching for hyenas and rogue lions. Back at his den, the king new his mate and Queen Fayola waited for him. She, along with their teen Keyisha and cubs Farrien and Dashira, were probably dining on the kill Fay had made. Nuika, Whisper and Blare undoubtedly joining them. 'I'll be back with them soon.' He smiled, and went back to his patrol.
Rellick reached the border of trees, and scenting another king, let out a roar. He had no wish to challenge an adult King, for he knew he would lose, which is why he felt deeply in need of allies. "Hello there! Pride's King! I come to speak with you!"
Kallivenion lept from the rocky outcropping he had been searching and met the strange lion at the near border of trees. He stood between the intruder and the plain leading to his plateau, and drew himself up. "I am King Kallivenion of these Pride Lands-Cyan Serenity- that you find yourself in.. What brings you young lion?"
Rellick bowed his head. "I am Rellick once Prince of Rackna's Lands, now King of Scarlet Shadows, albeit young." He took a step forward. "I come seeking one named Kallivenion, a friend of my mother... She spoke of his loyalty.. And I have need for such a thing."
"Whether I knew your mother or not, you are no get of mine..." Kall said slowly as he considered the teen. "What do you want?"
Rellick drew a deep breath and let it out.. "If you met my mother you would not forget her... She is the Queen of Mystery, Ellidanio, the shimmer of jade and gold on the Pride Lands at Sunrise... Now mated to Rackna, my father and King, and mother of six, myself included. As to waht I want.. I am here for an Ally.. For should I be attacked, I cannot defend those few that have decided to join me.. And as you are my mother's friend, I sought you out first."
Kall grinned and laughed, butting the new King's head in greeting. "Welcome and well met son of Elli!" He laughed. "How is she? It truly has been a lifetime since we've seen each other.. Grown, a Queen and Cubs you say?"
Rellick nodded, smiling. "Yes... My brother Brazen- crown Prince- Myself, Jadera my sister-and mother in miniature- and Jem from the first litter.. We are all teens now.. And her second litter, the scarlet Aritania and pale green Deka."
Kall nodded. "I myself have cubs.. Perhaps I should seek out your mother.. And we could talk of youthful memories.... " He smiled. "And become allies as well."
Rellick nodded as if to himself. "Their Pride Lands lie on the near border of the lake... If you wish to find them.. You need only cross this stream, then follow it to the lake... "
"Well then Young King, Allies we stand." Kall nodded then rested his chin on Rellick's shoulders, a gesture of trust and good will. If the Scarlet King had wanted to, he could tear out the mighty throat and silence the chocolate King.
Rellick returned the gesture easily. "My thanks, Serenity's King.. And best of luck with your Pride..."
"And yours as well.. We should have them meet sometime..." Kall grinned."
Rellick nodded in agreement.. "Until then..Farewell!"
Kall watched him trot away with a smile, and turned towards home.

Fayola stretched out, her stomach full and content. She was dozing lightly, green eyes half-lidded but aware of her surroundings. Ever since the cubs had been born she hadn't been able to explore her home. Hopefully that would change once they were all teens. Sure she could trust Keyisha with the others but she wasn't ready for that yet.
Keyisha bounded from rock to rock, paws gripping at the smooth surface. She was high up above the Pride, having found and left the borders. The need to explore was as intense in her as it was her mother and the call couldn't be refused.
The air here was purer then it was by the falls. Each rock, scraggly peice of shrubbery and rock bank was explored.

Kall trotted over to his mate, nosing her lovingly with a deep purr. "So still my love?" He questioned. "I would have thought you would be out exploring, like your daughter." He glanced up along the mountains, half expecting to see the flash of green that was Keyisha. He turned to Fayola with a smile. "Speaking of.. Have you seen the youngest?" Kall had noticed Dashira growing increasingly difficult to locate. She tended to dissappear early in the morning, returning for meals or water, and occassionally a swim. "I haven't seen her much..."

"Nor have I, Kallivenion..." A frown marred her pleasant features. She was worried about Dashira. Being out on her own was dangerous. Not to mention giving her mother some premature gray fur.
"I will go soon, when Dashira and Ferrian are old enough." She chuffed lovingly at her mate.

Kall huffed in mock affront. "Are you saying your mate and King cannot look after his flight children?" He eyed her with sad cyan orbs. "Oh the wound!!" With a mock groan he slid to the ground and rolled onto his side. "To hear that my Queen would hold back her own heart because she thinks I cannot guard my cubs! Oh the pain!" He grinned, because he couldn't stay serious long, and rolled back to his stomach, nosing her. "Do not hold back my dear.. Or you may never leave." He arched a saucy eyebrow as though he were planning something wicked and smirked.

One eyebrow was arched in response, just in cool indifference. "Oh really?" The lioness shifted, melting into a pose of relaxation and letting the mist of the 'falls slide over her body. "And what would make me never leave?"

Kall eyed her in silent appreciation and then smiled, and rather than being wicked, it was soft, and sweet, and loving. His eyes were gentle, not the eyes of a King who had fought for his life, and lands.. But the eyes of a lion, looking at his lioness.. His one and only. "What would make you never leave?" He rumbled gently, creeping closer to her. "More cubs, my sweet, if nothing else..."

The huntress blushed, the red mingling with green. "More cubs?" Gold eyes swept over the lands and then stopped on the chocolate form of her King. There was no doubt in her heart who would win between Kallivenion and her adventures. "You must give me more cubs to keep me by your side? I need only you."

Kall grinned and pressed against her side. "Travelers of the Sky as my witness I need only you... And I did so hope to hear you say that." He purred, smiling gently. He licked her cheek and wrapped his tail around her, wishing he could hold her close forever, and that she would do what made her happy. "Please my love, my heart, my Queen.. Travel and adventure if you will.. Swear only that you love me, and that you will return to me... And I shall be content enough to let you go..." The words were mostly honest.. He would let her go, but it would hurt his heart to see her leave the lands.. Even if it was only for a while. "You have not even explored your new home.. Which you fell in love with so fast.. I would have you go where you please.. Only.. Return to me."
