Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters   "He would protect you, he knows that without your help, I wouldn't be here right now." She said softly knowing she couldn't argue with him. "I couldn't leave you there even if you dont have any interest in me and were just being kind when you helped me, I couldn't leave you to get hurt. If I did, I would have your blood on my hands and I dont think I could live with that." She said. Looking towards the gate then back to Alvin she started to speak again. "Will you at least spend one night here? Its too late to do any more traveling tonight and in the morning if you still want to go, you can. I wont try to convince you to stay."

 Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin doubted it. It didn't seem Vladimir wanted to do anything to help Alvin. He did his good deed by helping him back in Arabor. "...Am I really safe here?" Alvin wanted to stay so he could be safe, but he didn't want to risk it with Vladimir either. Why did things turn out like this? His father shouldn't have known Alvin had helped. He thought it would look like Vladimir had found out himself. "I guess I'll stay for awhile...."the gothic beauty 2 Hey. Could you tell me when you're going to bed? >_<

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters "Yes your safe here Alvin my father won't hurt you even if he might seem like he will. He knows your the reason I'm back and alright which is why I don't think he is happy. He has always been the one to protect us so when he found that you were the one to save me I think he realized he can't do everything." She hoped what she said made sense but it probably didn't make much of it. "You'll really stay?" She asked looking hopeful. "I would really like it if you did remain with us, but if it becomes uncomfortable here, you can tell my mother or myself." ((sure I'm probably going to bed soon. I've been in bed for awhile but time to sleep now.))

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Well, Vladimir had to get over himself. No one could do everything. Listening to Valentina, he looked down. He was already uncomfortable. "I don't really want a tour. Just take me to whatever room I'll be having, please? I just want to go to bed. Maybe it'll be easier to get along with Vladimir tomorrow...."

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters "We don't have to do a tour then. Im sure things will be easier tomorrow." She said bringing him up to a room that she thought he would like. She rather liked it herself and if she wasn't in a room that reminded her of the ocean she might have picked that one. "Well here we are. I hope you enjoy the room." She said after a moment before she looked towards where her room was. "I will see you later then. Uh goodnight Alvin."

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin followed Valentina to the room, walking in and looking around. It was a very luxurious room, but this was a castle. Looking back at the mermaid-vampire mix, he nodded. "Night...." After she left, he shut the bedroom door and walked over to the window. Why didn't she or Sal have this room? The ocean was literally at the window. Sitting on the bed, he held his knees to his chest and, without realizing it, just started crying. He was stressed, tired, felt sick....Alvin half-wished he hadn't helped Valentina, but that just made him feel worse. Laying down, the teen forced himself to fall asleep, though it wouldn't make him feel any better when he woke up. the gothic beauty 2 If someone found a house with that room in it, I would probably marry them!

Jewel of Antares I added images to the first page of what the castle looks like and such. Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters Tina didn't know what Alvin was thinking or that he had wished he didn't save her, or was thinking it. If she had known he felt that way, she would have tried to help him out in some way. When she felt the sun rising and filtering into her own room she stretched and yawned before getting up and dressing in something similar to what she had been in when she first met Alvin. She went downstairs and waited for her parents knowing that it would be time for her to feed soon. While she was home, she tended to feed from one of her parents, something she had done all her life. Sure she could eat human food as well, but she preferred blood to what her mother ate.

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis When Alvin woke up, he felt better than what he expected. Getting out of bed, he went to the door and held the doorknob for a bit. Alvin wasn't sure if he wanted to leave the room or not. Even if he did, he didn't know where they'd be or if they were even awake. Sighing, Alvin walked out and looked around. He remembered the way to the front door. What if he left? He still felt like taking his chances, but knew he wouldn't survive. Leaning against the bedroom door, he figured it'd be best to wait until Sal or Valentina came for him. He'd get horribly lost if he tried to navigate on his own. Sal had managed to calm Vlad down a bit, but he wasn't sure how well it would show. After taking his usual morning shower, having grown fond of them rather than baths, he dressed and went down to the kitchen. Passing by Alvin, he tilted his head and smiled at him. "Good morning. How did you sleep?"Alvin looked up at Sal and shrugged. "Fine, I guess. I feel a bit better." He blushed when Sal rested his hand on his head. "Let's go to the kitchen. Vlady is the best cook. We also need to plan the shopping trip with Tina." Alvin was surprised when Sal took his hand and led him down to the kitchen. Walking in, the two saw Tina was already there. "...Where's Vladimir?"

He will be in shortly and then he will make breakfast for everyone." She said looking at Alvin for a moment. "You look better today then last night. I hope the room I picked was alright for you, I figured it was the most calming we have with the ocean view." When Vlad came into the kitchen he kissed Sal before giving Tina a kiss on her head. "Morning my little ocean gems." He said happily before he looked at Alvin. "Morning. What do you like to eat for breakfast? Tina, I will feed you now or later if your not going to eat a regular meal with us. Sal, I hope I can take a nibble from you afterwards." He said since he didn't actually eat the food he made. It didn't take long for the vampire to start making a 3 course breakfast for Sal and Alvin. He wasn't sure how much the boy would eat or what he would like out of his cooking. He made Sal's favorite for his mate as an apology. It was clear the vampire was trying hard to behave at the moment and he seemed to want to make amends with Alvin. "Did you sleep well considering all that has happened Alvin?"

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Garden? That spiteful p***k gardened? Or, was it Sal? Probably Sal. That made more sense. Vladimir came in and spoke to them, but Alvin didn't return his good morning or answer his question. He still had nothing nice to say to him. He ignored their feeding plans, knowing it was best to stay out of it. He sat quietly as Vladimir cooked, not caring what he made as long as it was edible. When the vampire spoke to him again, Alvin didn't know whether he should talk or not. It looked like he was trying to be friendly, but why bother now? He didn't have any intent the day before. "I slept fine." Not that he expected Vladimir to actually care. Alvin looked away from him, looking out the window. "...So, you two, when should we leave to go shopping for Alvin? We should buy clothes first. Is there anything you prefer to wear?" "Not really....As long as it's not a skirt or dress."

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters "I can feed afterwards daddy." She said after a moments thought before she watched her father start to cook for the two that would be eating. It seemed that Vlad was trying to be nice and friendly so that meant that her mother had talked her father and it seemed things would go well, until Alvin pointedly ignored most of what the vampire said until he asked about sleeping. Tina let out a small sigh knowing the two wouldn't get along at all. Maybe it would be best if Alvin found a different place to stay. It seemed that the human male didn't like her father at all. "It doesn't matter to me when we go, it will be up to Alvin." 'Mama, I don't think Alvin wants to stay here, maybe we should look at places for him to live as well? I don't want to cause any more tension.' She could always say that Alvin was under her protection. And as his actual daughter the other vampires would have to obey a bit as if anything happened to him, she was the heir to the vampire throne as it were.

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin looked down, fiddling with his thumbs. Was he being too harsh? Even if he had nothing nice to say, he should still try. Right? "I never said thanks. For not killing Dad. So....Thanks." Sal smiled softly before looking at Tina. "Even so. He can't leave until Vlad swallows his pride and offers protection. If you want to do it instead, it won't be as effective. Perhaps to the older vampires who honor tradition, but not the younger ones." Alvin glanced at the two, wondering what they were thinking. Returning his attention to his fingers, he got to thinking about the shopping trip. He didn't really care when they went; shopping wasn't his thing, so he'd probably be antsy to get back to the castle. "...I forgot about the things I burrowed from the library here in town. It's all still back in Arabor....So are my notes on Arendale." It was a weird worry, but the teen couldn't help it.

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters 'I know your right, I just don't want to make Alvin uncomfortable, well at least reduce it a little bit.' Vlad looked at the teen as he set breakfast on the table. "You asked Tina to speak with me about it, and I respect that you don't want your only family to be killed. After all, I don't want to lose my own family so I understand. And, if you still wish to leave since Im sure being here isn't comfortable to you, I will give you my protection, as a sign of good faith between us. If you so wish." Tina looked at Sal then to Vlad a bit surprised that he would offer his protection so easily. "Im sure the books wont be a problem right daddy? I mean you can talk to the librarian and such and explain? As for your notes, im sure we can fix that as well."

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin was surprised when Vladimir offered his protection. He didn't expect it to ever happen. "It'd be great to not stay here." He had nothing against Valentina and Sal, but Vladimir had just pissed him off too much. "I'm sure you'd be happier to not have a dumb human under your roof. Since there's no point in having them around." He looked at Valentina and frowned. "It's not right to ignore it....Maybe Dad will send them back through mail." As for his notes, it didn't matter. He was pretty much a prisoner here now. He'd have plenty of time to learn about Arendale again. the gothic beauty 2 ...Thinking he gets his own place for awhile and one of the girls in town starts to flirt with him. He wouldn't be interested, of course, but he's a bit of a gentleman, so he wouldn'f be rude.

Jewel of Antares That works for me, Tina will be a bit upset and all, but she wont do anything about it. Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters "Your not dumb Alvin, and he cant say anything bad about humans since he was one at one point in time. After all, if he wasn't human he wouldn't have been born or turned into a vampire to meet my mother. It just seems that he likes to forget about that fact sometimes." Vlad looked between the human and his daughter. "I know I am not the nicest man to be around, and I apologize for that. If you feel better leaving here I understand. I will help you find a place to stay then. It will let the vampires know that I have you under my protection and care. Tina is right about humans. I might not like them but without humans I wouldn't be here. As for your books, I can go and get them personally. Your father wont even know I was there. That reminds me, here are the keys to the car. It belongs to you since it was your fathers. Anyways, eat up Im sure Tina and Sal will be pulling you all around town today to shop." Tina looked at her father then at Alvin. At least they seemed to be getting along at least a bit right now. Maybe there was some hope for them yet.
