Jay flashed a cheeky grin at the King and managed to look thoughtful. "Hmm...maybe..." He purred at the green female. "What would I get out of it?"

Jade pretended to be thoughtful a moment, then gave a playful little shrug. She smiled a wicked smile at Jay and cocked her head.
"What would you want Dark Prince?" She asked. "If it is within my power to give.. You may have it..."
Rellick, irritated beyond all reason with his sister and her flirting, huffed and leapt down. "I'll be inside."
With that, he dissappeared into the mouth of the cave, leaping from ledge to ledge to his sleeping place. The highest ledge in the cave, and one of the largest, it would easily house three adult male lions, and was situated nearly over the top of the entrance. Rell flopped down, and pouted.

Jayvyn kept his gaze on the female, his features carefully schooled into the happy, sly mask. "Anything, hmm?"
It wasn't right to be thinking about the Scarlet King. The short trip had been filled with his happy chatter but...It seemed that somehow the budding acquanticeship had taken a nosedive right past friendship, comradery, taken a right swerve at blood brothers and ended up somewhere...somewhere he didn't want to think about...

Jadera blushed slightly but nodded her head. She followed her brother's progress down and into the cave, and shook her head in worry. "Yes anything.. And gladly.. Rellick is so out of sorts I have no idea what to do to help him.. Not that he would accept it anyway.."
She sighed. "He really is irrational."
Rellick huffed and flopped onto his side on his sleeping perch, growling softly at the thoughts chasing each other around in his head. This was madness, brought on by too much sun and heat. "Just cool down..."

"Oh...he's just not fun..." Jayvyn smiled to hide his confusion. He gave a large yawn, the days earlier activities tuckering him out. "Excuse me."

((I tried to post last night, but it was gettin late and my computer was getting wonky, so I'll try posting it again))
Amaree had gotten up and went down to the den, trying to stay out of the way and sort out her thoughts. So many things had been swimming around in her head that day and she didn't really know what they all meant. She was piecing them together on her perch, just below Rellick's when the King himself entered. She didn't know if he looked as if he was in a talking mood, so she shut her eyes and sat her head in her paws. She heard the King speaking to himself and raised her head.
"Are you okay?" She asked, jumping onto the perch with Rellick and sitting down close to him. She shouldered him and licked his muzzle. "What's wrong?" She asked, flopping down beside him, hoping to be some help.

Areli looked at Amaree next to Rell. She sighed. "Hey uh... Amaree, you want to go help me, get us some food?" she asked, tilting her head alittle, as if telling her to come on. She glanced at Rellick, to Jay, then back to Amaree, slowly begining to turn. She stopped and kept looking at Ree.

Brooke nodded and smiled.
'Hey, Jay.' She said simply, and then turned and padded into the cool of the cave. Ehh, nothin' special... She thought to herself as she flopped down.

Jadera nodded. "That could be it... But I doubt it.. Rell's one of the most playful creatures I've met..."
Rellick grinned at Amaree. "My thoughts are giving me a headache."
He huffed with a flick of his tail, nosing her gently. "Tis nothing, really."
He was touched that she wanted to help, but he didn't know what was wrong with him in the first place.
Rellick turned at the sound of Areli's voice. "Going hunting Areli?"
He smiled, that really was her love. "Ree.. Why don't you go? And perhaps take Brooke?"
He nodded toward the blue form as she padded in and flopped down. "Brooke! The girls are going hunting.. Do you want to go?"

Jayvyn bowed to the female. "I have yet to see this side of him." Subduing another yawn, the black lion glanced up at the moon. "I think it's time to sleep. Been a busy day." With a cheeky grin he flicked his tail against Jade's side.
The Dark Prince seemed to melt into the shadows as he leapt down the ledges and around the cave. He wouldn't sleep inside. Being close to Rellick made him feel...weird...

Brooke lifted her head, taking a moment for the words to sink in, and then a slow smile spread across her face as she stood up.
'Hunting, you say?' She trotted toward Areli, passing by Amaree as she did and nuding her shoulder. 'Let's go, then!'

Jadera nodded. "Farewell the Dark Prince.. Its time I returned to my Father's Pride.. If you would, give Rell my regards and my love, as well as my farewells.."
With a last smile she leapt down and sped into a run, heading around the lake and back to Rackna's lands.
Rell heard his sister's voice, but made no move to seek her out. He was slowly relaxing, and if he chased after Jade, she'd just foul it all up. "Goodbye sister dearest."
He muttered with a flick of his ears. "See you soon."
He grinned at the girls. "See you when you get back.."

The teen got into a lot of trouble as a baby and cub. One remembered adventure is swimming in the river and almost being eaten by a crocodile. Personality: A partyer and happy-go-lucky sort. He can be serious when called for and gives good advice.

Rell noticed that Jay had not come into the cave, and eyed the entrance warily. 'What is he going to do, sleep outside?' He wondered with in irritated twitch of his tail.
He yawned. 'I'm too tired to care...'
"Goodnight foolish Prince." He muttered. "Enjoy the stars."
