Ah! I have found a name for my Violin. And seeing as the name is female, I have also found a gender. xD But first, I must post the picture! (a crappy picture, but a picture nontheless!) I hope that is good enough and not too big. confused Alright, I have named her Evelyn. I think its supposed to be gaelic/celtic for Lively/Pleasant. ^_^;; I know, confusing. But oh well. And to Iviary: WOW! That sounds like a dream college! I'll bookmark that site and check it out... I would say more but I'm worried that I'd be making too much fluff. (I'm really bad about that) sweatdrop

I'm not sure what you mean by "making too much fluff".. o_0 But, yeah. They have classes for all levels in everything, from new beginner, to advanced.

Kalile Alako While I am a bit more lenient than Tarienquest, yeah, a bit fluffy. xd F*** you, Kalile, I'm getting pissed off with you more and more every day!!! Off topic is CHATTING ABOUT BARBIES AND PIRATES IN A THREAD ABOUT TIPS!I am not crazy, I am not mean, and I would not have had given out any penalty in this thread. You are very close to losing your crew status. Very, very close. Impudence, my dear. If you want to know about my feeling on fluff posts and what fluff posts would be, read through the announcements!!!

My first violin is a Mussolini named Linda. My second, better, fancier violin is Violinda. It's an Allegro model violin made specifically for Potter's violin store! I'm not sure how old it is. The varnish dripped on the label, so it is really hard to read! It's worth about 800-900 dollars, but I really think it is worth alot more! They have some pretty good deals at Potter's Violin shop!

I just got a new violin, it's a turn of the century Maggini model. I louve it. Its tone is wonderful and the bow response is great, too. I consider this violin definitely male, but I'm not sure what to name him yet...I just bought it for $350.00.

My violin I couldn't tell you. But an educated guess would be a German made violin.
However, my viola is a 2002 Richard Wodsen. An American Viola. smile Now, before you get all huffie about it being American or that its brand new, I bought her in 2003. She had been setting on a shelf for a year collecting dust. I'm her first owner. smile And I love my viola so much! blaugh heart And she is the best sounding viola I've ever heard, and the most beautiful. (I may be not completly objective but alot of the proffessor's at my university think it sounds great!)
