Actually, I'd prefer you guys not have buildings on the ground. That's basically like saying, "We can get Golem to give us more stuff than you guys! Na-na-nanana!" I mean, what's the point? Why don't they just go to your airship? Airships are cool and mobile, which is the bonus of having one, but a little inconvenient in some spots, which is the downside. But if I took away the downside, that would be a bit unfair; would it be fair if I let the Earth Clan be able to have their HQ grow legs and walk? sweatdrop I'm probably overexaggerating, but I'd really prefer not if you guys can live with it.

Actually, I meant for this to be in my profile somewhere, but forgot to include it, everybody think Luke dissapeared with his father, so for now he is playing the role of simple hermit's son. Maybe later I'll add some depth by revealing it IC, but not yet.

Anyways. Since we can't have buildings on the ground...
We have to think of a way for um... well, assignments to get to the HQ after they've been assigned. Also, ways for prospective... candidates to find out about the Clan. I mean, we can't just have it as:
"Oh yeah... I have a message for the Sky Clan... hm... HQ is a big airship in the sky... guess I'll just walk."
or:
"HELLOOOO TO ANYONE LISTENING TO THE WINNNDDD FROM THE SKYYY CLANNNNN! THIS IS THE GUY WHO DELEGATES QUESSSTTTTSS! I HAAAAVE A QUEEEESSST FOOOOR YOOOOOOU!"
"We'll lower a basket attached to a rope! Stick what you have in it and we'll raise it back up!"
"HOOOWWW AM IIIII SUPPOSSSSEED TO FIT?!"
"You're not! But you can stick the quest and the gift of cookies in the basket!"
"WHAAAAT ABOUT MEEEE?!"
"Learn how to jump! I mean, we'll send a ship for you in a few minutes!"
So how about a spot on the docks? Our ships could land there for refueling or whatever, and then people won't be... lost... as to how to get stuff up there. And people. >.>

Yes, so it has started. Glad to see you all there. If you fall behind in posting, just go with the assumption that you're standing/walking/exploring along with the group if you want to stay with the group.
Mmm... oh yeah, room descriptions from people would be nice if you have the time. I need to work on mine still. sweatdrop

I realized when I read the lyrics after I posted them that -if put to the wrong kind of music- it may sound like some angsty gothy teeny band... xd but it's not. The song is called "November", and it's by Tom Waits (I think it's from the Black Rider album).
My dad loves Tom Waits... and because I hear it so often when I'm with my dad (and because, secretly, I kind of like it as well xp ) I can quote the lyrics to some of his songs by memory. The posted lyrics are actually not the entire song. The rest of the song goes as follows:

with carrion shellac (To be honest I had to look up "shellac" because I had no idea what it was)

Hmm... so you want my room info, huh? Well, I'm not sure... but I guess I can think up something concrete. Here goes.
Machina Aquarius's room is simple, compared to the extravagancies one would expect from one of the Sky clan. His room has a chair, not lush and comfortable but functional, facing a window. He has a small bed in the corner, and there is a bookshelf in another corner. (he enjoys reading.) The floor is smooth, polished black stone, and the walls are black, too. He keeps some things in his room, like incence or such, to aid in meditation. (As I had said before, he enjoys meditating.) The room is huge, considering the amount of stuff in it, but he likes it.
I may edit in more later, but for now, that's all I've got. If there's anything I'm missing or overlooking, just tell me!

Alrighty, I'll get that up there (but I'll take out the I reference, so it looks nicer).
HA! I know what shellac is! Or I think I know. xd Isn't it that coating stuff that makes things hard and shiny for furniture and wood and stuff? I think the things I use to harden my cranes is called shellac, or something like that.
... what kind of music does Tom Waits play?
