Kaleb grinned lopsidedly. "Thanks for catching me if I fell," he said happily, and then swayed on his feet again. "I really don't want to fall, is there somewhere I could sit down?"

He looked around. "Could always go sit over there .... Rude's gotta stay with the Boss though." He waved a paw at a bench that was along one wall.

Kaleb frowned a bit, it would be embarassing if he fell over trying to get to the bench, it was probably best that he stay where he was. At least until someone he could lean on decided to go sit down. "I think I'll stay," he said with a smile, "but you probably shouldn't lean on me in case I fall over."

"It looks too far away," Kaleb protested, starting to look worried again. He was torn between going to sit down and staying right where he was as to not risk the inertia getting to him.

"Twenty feet at the most." Even drunk he could still gauge distance. After being knocked senseless as much as he had been you learned to be able to do those things even when not all there in the head.

That didn't change the fact that it still looked too far away. Kaleb frowned at the bench a bit as he gathered up enough courage to take the first shaky step towards it. Shifting his balance was a bit of a problem, and he flailed a bit in an attempt not to lose it completely.

Reno somehow managed to keep Kaleb from falling without going over himself. Laughing he headed for the bench himself and along the way grabbed a bottle of something off a table as he passed. "See .... not too hard."

Kaleb scowled a bit as he dropped down on the bench. "That was really awkward," he replied, but his frown had already faded by the time he looked back at Reno. "Thanks," he said, this time with a smile. He glanced down at the glass he had in one hand, somehow he had managed to go through all that flailing without spilling a drop of that interesting bubbly drink.

He popped the bottle he'd stolen open and took a swig. "Told ya that ya'd make it." He grinned as he leaned back against the wall.

"I wouldn't have made it if you hadn't helped me." Kaleb said with another bright smile. He kicked his feet a bit, much happier now that he was safely sitting down.

Kaleb nodded cheerfully, and then decided not to nod after feeling dizzy and nearly tipping over. "It wouldn't have been fun," he said, and then his face fell. "I don't think it will be much better after the party's over."
