Kieron soon backed up toward Elyon. "I will take care of them, concentrate on that giant." Kieron let his blades pierce through another goblin's stomach. Kieron heard it scream into his ear but the noise only made the boy grit his teeth. He pushed the corpse down to kick another enemy out of the way. One of his daggers was thrown into the head of another as Kieron made sure no goblin was able to touch Elyon.

The Troll roared in pain, but this only put it into a beserker rage, as it began smashing its mace into the ground randomly, often killing Goblins in the process. It suddenly spotted Elyon, the cause of its misery and charged forward, its mace above its head, intent on killing the Dunedain.

Radagast was in the thick of battle, he hit a Goblin hard in the side of the head with his staff and then stabbed it through the throat. He watched the Troll and called out, "ELYON! AIM FOR ITS MOUTH! SHOOT IT IN THE MOUTH!"

Norolith lept into the air and down upon a Goblin, shoving Anduril into its chest and dragging the still gleaming sword up to the creatures chin, and then dragging it farther. He yelled out in pain and a Goblin stabbed him in the right shoulder from behind. Norolith turned around and slashed it with his sword, cutting the creatures face in two.

As she heard the Troll belowing in pain, she turned to Kieron and nodded her head. "I am hoping you will..." she replied as she turned to aim at the Troll's mouth, taking Radagast's advice. Closing her left eye, she aimed gritting her teeth lightly. "Golgoldria, don't fail me now!" she muttered huskily as the arrow flew out of her hand, speeding off in direction to the troll

The arrow hit its mark, going right into the roof of the Troll's mouth and into the creatures brain. The Troll suddenly stopped its rampage and fell to its knees, lifting its hand up to touch the arrow it sort of moaned and then fell to the ground, dead. With their 'secret weapon' defeated the Goblins paniced and retreated off into the forests, not bothering to take shelter back in the fortress.

Norolith was panting heavily, his breath visible in the cold as he took his cloak in hand and cleaned the black blood of the Goblin's off of Anduril, restoring it to its gleaming shine. He then sheathed his trusted blade and looked around at his party saying, "Is everyone alright? Nice shot Elyon." He looked at her and smiled for a moment.

Radagast sheathed his own sword and said, "I'm alright as well...But those Goblins will be back eventually, when that happens, we'll want to be inside the fortress, at least that way it will limit the places from which we can be attacked from. Quickly everyone." With that he started walking quickly towards the now open gate, soon passing through it and into the large, half-circular frozen courtyard, which when this fortress wasn't infested with creatures of evil, must of looked incredibly beautiful, since there were several dead frost covered trees filling the courtyard. Directly ahead was a massive closed stone doorway, covered in strange ancient markings.

Norolith walked with Radagast up to the door and began reading across the ancient runes which covered it and said, "Its in Sindarian..." He looked back at the Fellowship and called out, "OY! Who knows how to read Rivendell Elvish?!" He looked back at the door, confused.

Kieron kneeled down to pull out the Jambiya that had been thrown earlier. He could hear the flesh being ripped as the blade soon became free. His eyes looked over to Norolith and the others. "Are you hurt?" He asked when seeing crimson colors. The goblin's blood had been black and Kieron knew so since some of the blood was on his face. The daggers were cleaned off and placed in their holsters. He soon walked over some corpses to make his way to his allies.

As the arrows were released, Elyon followed them with her eyes, watching them as they hit target, first two the Troll’s neck, the third one on the roof of its mouth. Lowering Golgoldria to her side, she watched the most wretched beast. As it fell to its knees, whimpering lightly, and then dead, she watched as the Goblins dispersed, horrified by seeing their weapon beaten in such a way.

Releasing a heavy sigh, she glanced about the group, stopping momentarily on Norolith as she returned his smile and nodded her head. “For one that had not seen battle or creatures like these before, you did very well Kieron,” she added simply, as she soon after, slung Golgoldria over her shoulder, sheathed Izayura once more, though, she soon discovered that they were to be going no where, any time soon, that is.

Furrowing her brow lightly, she followed the call, “Sindarian?” She questioned curiously, tilting her head lightly to the side, before she lifted her gaze to meet the inscriptions written before the doors.

“Hunar a da ndor an’wanwa,
Sa tanya’ tuulo’iden nerte ume tatal,
Ta nea i re’a nuquern, i nadath a anoron
Sinome ume aen triall meth no’ tanya’ tuulo’ iden
Aen ume tule.”

She repeated softly, well under her breath, crossing her arms lazily, as she continued to stare. “Ai! It is a riddle…”

Norolith looked at her for a moment and then at the doorway and said, "A riddle? What does it mean?" He cocked his head to the side, trying to make sense of it all he had learned a bit of Sindarian during his days in Rivendell and said, "All I can understand is Nine and Downfall...Whats the rest of it mean?"

"It does not matter what they look like...they tried to kill us so I fought back." Kieron crossed his arms and smiled. It was nice to receive a compliment every once in a while. His mind soon floated away from the previous words when seeing the strange symbols ahead of him. He had no idea of what they said or of what they were. This was the part that the other members would advance in. Kieron was meant for fighting.

He soon heard Elyon say it was a riddle. "A riddle?" He questioned when gazing back up at the letters. Kieron let his hands moved to his sides and they were soon holding onto his waist. "I did not expect something like this...at all."

Her lips were lightly pursed, black eyes fixed intently upon the riddle, as her mind, again and again retraced the words she had spoken. She frowned, released a heavy sigh and glanced back at the group. “Yes, a riddle. Not necessarily my strongest of points…” she admitted calmly as she rubbed the nape of her neck, before she spoke yet again “I believe that in common, it would be somewhat similar to this:

“Far to the East of a land long gone,
Lay that from which nine did sail,
It was the day of Downfall, the trace of Dawn,
And here did they tread last on that from which they did hail...”

Rose was finally relieved of her oversized opponent(s) whenthey fled. She sighed and headed over with everyone else. She looked up at the inscrition and was puzzled by the riddle her self.

Alya stood back from the group a bit standing just within listening distance. She then came over to the group standing next to Kieron. She was looking up at the engravings, "It sounds like it's talking about the last fellowship, from what I can remember of the story that is." Elyon's words ran through her head trying to think of what they mean.

"I have only heard bits and pieces of that old story. We were not really well informed on those type of things." He scratched his head when looking away from the weird words. There was no point in staring at them since they would not unlock the meaning. Kieron looked over first at Norolith and then to Elyon. "So...is this where our journey ends? Because it seems like we are stuck." He chuckled slightly at the thought of how easily the group was stumped. Kieron soon turned away from the door and walked away. He soon turned and turned and began to walk in a circle.

Norolith who had been thinking for a few moments, suddenly looked at the door in suprise and said, "There are two answers...The first is Numenor..." Suddenly, as if on cue, the door could be heard creaking as it unsealed itself and began to glow slightly.

Radagast then said, "And the second is Nazgul..." And with that, there was a bright flash, and the gates began to swing open, it slowly opened up fully to reveal a long dark hallway. Radagast chuckled and said, "It was very simple, the land to the East obviously referred to Numenor which vanished due to the power of Sauron, and this fortress was once a stronghold for the Witch-King, lord of the Nazgul, the Ringwraiths. Understand? Now, quickly, let us head inside..." He stepped inside, followed by Norolith, and instantly, Radagast tapped his staff on the floor, causing a light to appear at the top of his staff, to light their way.

Releasing a heavy sigh, Elyon swung Golgoldria upon her shoulder, as she momentarily glanced back, a bit unsure, truth be told, of following the corridor inside. However, there was no turning back now, not after they had come to this land, so with slow, uneasy steps, the half-elf followed the other two inside.

"I see you solved it, that's good." Kieron smiled when starting to walk up the steps. He kept his arms crossed when looking at the three in front of him. They were all very educated in these matters. These places that they spoke of were mentioned to him before but never in detail. "Where exactly does this lead to?"

As they walked into the long dark passage, the doors behind them slowly closed by themselves, briefly showering the party in darkness. Suddenly there was an echoing tapping noise and suddenly the hall they were bathed in was filled with light. At the moment that the light flashed, several dark figures who had been creeping down the walls of the hallway suddenly fled into the darkness. Radagast was holding his staff tight, which was emitting the light from the tip. He looked off to either side of himself with just his eyes and said, "There is an evil presence in this fortress...But, they appear to fear the light of my staff...Stay within the light and you will not be touched...And now...We face the long, lonely darkness of Angmar. Hopefully, the path to the top of the tower will be a short one...But, if the path there is gone, as I expect it will be, we will have to take a winding road through the tunnels of this evil mountain, and that will add another three days to our trek...We'd best get moving." With that, he started walking down the hallway, the light of his staff fading every few seconds only to return when it touched the ground again.

Norolith listened to Radagast speak, and with a quick worried glance to the party as if to say 'lets hope our guide is making the right decision' he followed the old wizard and said, "Come along every one...We must keep moving..."
