Do we need more designs for the UK and the US, and what happened to china and Russia? where are they in this? ....china and russia are a part of the current war on terror? neutral I'm using the current affairs as a basis for a story. Yeah I know, just what the hell are they going to be doing with giant weapons going about, just stay neutral or will they have MS' for theirselfs? I know you are taking current affairs, but still I'd think Mobile Suits would change things abit. but then it wouldn't be based on current affairs, would it? Do you see china and russia running to our aid? ********, do you see the rest of NATO doing so either? They may well be building military use mobile suits due to the terrorist attacks as a defense mechanism, but they wouldn't get involved, just as they aren't getting involved now. well the reason why these countries doesn't get involved was because they hated the image of U.S being the world dominant police. this situation will probably change as the world proceed, so it's arguable whether they will involve with the worldwide terror thing. yet, again, if you say it's based on current events, U.S will be the main player here. Although they particiate in the attempt to eliminate the terrorism, U.K.'s involvement is limited, comparing to U.S. That's where you're wrong. While we don't throw thousands of cannon fodder at the problem, what we send MATTERS. Our death toll is about.... a TENTH that of the US one due to superior training, teamwork and equipment. Plus, we don't go around making indecent videos of captive civillians half as much as the US do. lol Anyway, the reason NATO doesn't help is because they don't CONDONE the war in Iraq. Not because they don't want america to be the world police. s**t, is that what they teach kids nowadays? Propaganda for the masses. neutral see, I am affected by both propaganda from asia and america, so I'm kinda a mix. XD wow I totally didn't know these stuff. thanks a lot. ^^" I guess I'm too closed up into the american' world. characters: personality, bio and their goal. oh ya, btw, how many characters do you plan to have?

Well, a mobile suit is three to five men large. the terrorist group will obviously not all be in the same mobile suit team, so their main characters are more well spaced.
This means six to ten "good guys" - though half of 'em should be dead by the time the UK and the US "lucky aces" ally.

I'm thinking of a group of four people for U.S right now, three guys one girl. rolleyes If I say I want to make the rough draft of the character..... what should I include specifically? name, personality, position in army, and what else?

wow. I can't figure out the names and stuff. I'm so bad with name creation >.>
as for the team, I'm thinking of an experienced general who's at the age of 50. A good leader of the team, but dislike the use of these ms. The reason why the patriotic general took charge of the ms team was something caused by office politics. The other three members were basically trouble makers that other special departments wished to get rid of dumped over. The only girl in the team is the cooperator of the weapon system control, one of the guys is the major controller of the ms, when the last one is the technician of the team. The girl entered the army because she believed that there's nothing that guys can do can't be done by girls. The main controller of the team just had nothing better to do with his life and wanted some excitements, and he found army life to be the best thing that he can do with his life. The technician believe that by entering the army as a backup person will give him a good insurance and stuff like that. so basically besides the leader, everyone came because of self interest. =.=

A terrorist attacked them, trying to score more MST units to upgrade. Using a construction type's welding tool, she managed to defeat the Terrorist unit just as the military forces deployed. Such skill earns her a place amongst the first mobile suit team of the country.

The lucky aces are an 'elite' mobile suit team, and the best that America has to offer. Their team originally numbered fifteen, but after an encounter with a specific rebel mobile suit and its team, were cut down to FIVE. After this, they joined the UK Forces 1st Autonomous Attack Force for a combined effort on the enemy.

Just skimming the thread, it sounds pretty good to me so far. So, for the terrorist groups, I can't help but want to make up a few characters/suits for them... Only because for the last month I've been watching a shitton of Gundam and the 2001 Dune over and over again (and Dune for some reason makes religious fanatics seem really freaking cool...)
I'm kind of artsy as well... so I can help with drawing if anyone wants.
