I have my step-brother liking them. He likes the song 'Du Reichst so gut', but that's about it. He hasn't seen anything from the Reise, Reise, album and only Mutter, Ich Will from the Mutter album. *shrugs* He also knows lots of random facts, which I share with him while watching. He probably knows more about Rammstein then half the people in this guild by now! eek
My dad is so-so with it. He doesn't get why I listen to it. I told him I understood what they were saying and learning German from them. Now, he thinks they are good, but still refuses to listen to more then one song at a time. He also will only watch up to two music video's before he gets up and leaves the room. He's getting better. Before he wouldn't even stay in the room past the introduction of songs. stressed
My mom likes the song Seeman. That's about it. She really likes it in concert and that's all she'll watch with me. My parents are pretty cool about everything. They don't mind what I watch or listen to. My mom even knows about Buck Dich and that I watch it, and she's alright with it. She says it's better then finding porn all in my room. lol. She's a 'glass-half-full' type person. heh.

My parents think the same thing. Well, my mom did. She thought they were saying satanic things because Till`s voice is well, Satanic-sounding I guess. She told me she didn`t want me listening to it, then I told her what half of the songs actually meant, and now she lets me buy their albums. Hell, she even bought me Lichtspielhaus. biggrin

She told me she didn`t want me listening to it, then I told her what half of the songs actually meant, and now she lets me buy their albums. Hell, she even bought me Lichtspielhaus. biggrin Did she buy it for you without you even asking? I had to beg and beg my mom to buy Lichtspielhaus for me...

Georuji Noooooo.... my mom found my new hiding place of all my music cds and destroyed them all again... crying But... at least I have the whole Rosenrot album on my computer to cherr me up! smile
Then again, my mom is level-headed and understands I'm growing and will choose to listen to crap she doesn't like... and she deals with it since I'm in a 'faze'. lol.

Georuji Noooooo.... my mom found my new hiding place of all my music cds and destroyed them all again... crying OMFG! God almighty, that's going way too far! Thankfully, my mum likes Rammstein, although my dad doesn't (he seems to have had a decent-taste-in-music-bypass operation rolleyes )

You see, the thing is, is that my mom is extremely closed minded and also extremely ridiculous. For example let's say that she think's Harry Potter is 'devil's worship' because of what she hears from the other ridiculous people on the sometimes literally astonishingly obscene thing known as EWTN or 'the catholic channel'. She believes that Rammstein are satanic because of Till's deep voice and the hardness of their music, as well having actually tried to exorcisie me on 4 occasions now. stare She also tells me that I have no rights in the household and that by law she is allowed to destroy any of my belongings even if I had bought them...

Yeah, I know it is. But I've lived with it all my life so it dosen't affect me too much... I try to keep my frustration hidden. Oh yeah, she actually said a friend of hers told her that I had no rights. stare If I tell her to leave me alone and she won't and I come up to her to tell her to leave me alone, she treatens to call the cops on me. She did actually call them on my older brother before, though nothing really happened to him.
