Kicking his mount again made the spider surge forward, this time Sepehran was prepared as so he hadn't lost his grip on his lance. Lightly encouraging the tarantula Sepheran eyed the dummy at the end...his target.

The last burst of speed seemed unkind to the tarantula and as they neared their goal it quickly changed directions moving backwards instead. The sudden switch confused Sepheran as he quickly tried to right his mount in the correct direction. This effort however cost his his well placed grip on his lance.

Ok, so this didn't seem to be do bad. She was making a little bit of progress up the field and so far seemed to be doing ok with keeping a hold on the lance, and her mount was doing a decent job cooperating with her as well. Hmm, maybe this wouldn't be so bad in the end.

As Sepheran reached the end he leaned his body forward his stick smashing into the target with as much strength as he could muster. His spider continued on after the 'thud' slowing down until it eventually came to a stop. Sepehran's arm pounded slightly from the impact but he patted his mount proudly. "You did well, thank you," he commented softly before getting off to let the tarantula get some rest. It deserved it after all.
