WellzY nrasjaa eh i confess im a feminist but i say mate, and draftsmen instead of drafts person. and i dont mind if im in a group of males and some one says "you lot are a alright blokes" but if they say "geez natasha is an alirgh bloke" then i do kinda lift an eyebrowm but it doesn't really bother me too much sweatdrop You're a good blokey chick and I'm a good chicky bloke. xd You're kinda right there. Nras does sound like a tomboy and look like one in real life, and you know what they say about the SNAG( Sensitve New Age Guy). xd I agree that feminism has become totally corrupted now. It used to make a lot of sense back in the 70s, but now women are trying to juggle careers and family, or staying single, or, in a total backflip to feminism, become mothers before choosing a career.

Feminism = less available womens to go out with ;_; Because they get into it so much they think all guys are jerks, which is pretty much true but still... no that's actually a pretty good argument ._.
We're only good for reproducing but then it's only a matter of time before women evolve into super hybrid sex women that don't need men to reproduce surprised

Not really a scary prospect because I will be long dead by the time it happens, unless they evolve like really quickly and start like keeling all teh men in a bloody thirsty rage to feed their childrens O_O

Minielf You're kinda right there. Nras does sound like a tomboy and look like one in real life xd .... yes because most tomboy girlies are into like tight fitting clothes and long flowing hair and nails and liquid eye liner and earrings and jewellry and shoes and pretty skirtys neutral im a rather complex person when it comes to gender roles, i like how i am, i am beautifully feminine yet i dont mind diggin ditches. 3nodding you just dont understand tieky: feminists aren't harder to date, they just demand equal rights, no big deal. yes some people do over do it i will admit; but if something like a feminist scares you then you have some serious issues, you shouldn't look at one aspect of the person but the whole ******** thing. and for the last ******** time. i am ******** sick and tired of people saying "oh natasha you talk like a bloke" "oh you drink rum. you drink like a guy" and mah favourite " girls can't be engineers" i say ******** you all!! i can ******** do what i like and me being a female has nothing to do with how i should behave or talk or what i drink or what occupation i have. now that, you ********, is being a feminist 3nodding

I meant some feminists are harder to date coz they like hate men and wouldn't date them in the first place. I don't haf any problem with it, it just sucks because it means there isn't as much fish in the ocean xp

Unless Teik, I actually think that most feminist women are probably easier to date. Usually there women put their careers ahead of mother hood and brains before beauty, so feminists would probably be more intelligent and resourceful. I like those qualities in a girl. My mum is a certified feminist, even though she's in a family. Heck, she does most of the house and business work whilst my dad is a lazy arsehole!! xp Firey: No, I wasn't around in the 70s. xd But I do understand the logic behind why the feminist movement started. And what I said about it was mistaken. You're correct in saying that the feminist movement is now being used as an excuse to discriminate against males. One of the biggest examples of this is how girls pretty much have complete acess to all areas of work and education, but most boys, afraid of being ostracised for life, can't go into girly subjects such as ballet dancing lol Also, I guess the biggest difference is that girls can wear all sorts of clothes with ease, but boys can't.

Too much feminist talk; it was almost all teased out of me in my first uni semester. xp
Basically, the modern feminist movement is a private, personal sort of thing. Women aren't all coming to gether into a sort of 'sister-hood' like they did in the past waves, but rather are looking at the issues which affect themselves, and make their own dicissions. If that doesn't follow the common feminist belief, it doesn't matter, because it's personal. I think this a better way to go about it, as everyone circumstances are different, but I still think there a lot of in-built social issues which still need to be resolved. 3nodding
