It is pretty good.

But like I said.. try a shot of Hot Damn or Aftershock on its own, and tell me it isn't the same feeling you get when you finish brushing your teeth.

It's EXACTLY the same.

Only real downside to cinnamon liqueur. Otherwise it's pretty damn good.

I suppose it depends on what you're more concerned about. Utilizing the ability, or the bond made with another character in obtaining said utilization. I'd say if the character doesn't know a lot of people yet, though, the former would be the better choice.
