Yakov started clattering around in the kitchen. It was good to have something to do. He started entertaining the idea of just bashing Luka in the head with the skillet when she walked through the door. She would wake up even more pissed off, but they could be long gone by then.

Yakov quickly produced a full spread for Jeff and laid it out on the table for him. "All yours, Hun."

Jeff dug in but half way through the tub of scrambled eggs he stopped. "You sure you don't want anything dear?"

Yakov kissed Jeff on the forehead. "I'll eat after I watch her slink out of here." He wandered over to the sink and started scrubbing whatever he could get his hands on.

JEff quickly disposed of the breakfast Yakov had so lovingly made for him. He helped clean up the table before slouching off to the couch in the living room.

The door to the house burst open and a giant wave of metaphysical fury rushed in.
"JEFF!"
Yakov flinched and started scrubbing harder.
Up stairs, Holly let out a pitiful whine.

Kyle sat up and stared at their closed bedroom door. "H...holly....?"

Jeff didn't get up off the couch. He could feel her coming but decided it best not to look at her least me made eye contact. "No need to yell, I'm right here."

Holly pulled Kyle close and clamped her hand over his mouth, shaking her head vigorously.

Luka stormed in and stood in front of the couch. "What the hell were you thinking last night?" For her first question, she made a small attempt to remain calm.

Luka started pacing. "I had to coddle said slut until she calmed down enough to be of any use. We finally get someone who can go inside safely and you go and practically destroy her. If I can actually manage to be nice and keep the insults subtle, I think you could handle not trying to kill her." She turned and glared at Jeff. "But no, the big bad wolf can't freaking control himself and then he sits there on a** acting like he did the right thing."

Jeff stifled a growl. He tried to keep his voice calm. "In my opinion I did the right thing. And I could give a flying ******** whether or not you have the same opinion."

Luka let out a low growl and slash her nails across Jeff's face.

Jeff roared. He was on his feet in miliseconds. It took him under a second to bull Luka to the ground.
