"It makes me afraid when I am like that." Mallory replies softly as Lance cleans his face. "It is like I am only aware of my own lust for blood. Nothing of who I am or the people and things I care about remain. I would do anything to fill that one need, and it frightens me. You would stop me, wouldn't you? If I were harming you, you would stop me? Promise me that you would." Mallory leaned his head on Lance's shoulder and kissed the freshly applied bandage. "I don't know what I would do if I ever..." He trailed off, unwilling to even suggest it.

"Mal, you cold never hurt me." He breathed. "And even if you tried to I would be able to stop you, you’re so puny it would not be a problem." He smiled and rubbed the boys back kissing the corner of his mouth. Lance was glad it was as easy as this, he doubted that the boy would be able to hurt him, well, at least not physically. "If it helps,… I promise." He hugged him softly and let go, "Come on, we don't have time, the plane leaves in an hour." He grabbed a wallet from the table and a long black coat from a hook.

"I trust your sister enough to know that she won't sneak off and get herself drunk," I muttered and helped her up. There was a figure about a mile in front of us in a lace dress, strolling up the streets with an odd bounce to her step. "Oh my god." The girl was walking toward us, her long lace-like hair flowing behind her back, a few of the curls bouncing on her shoulders. She was giggling and began to run a little, her face becoming more distinct now. "Dawn?!" She continued to make her way in our direction.
"Hm?" I laughed. I felt the alcohol from my visit with Seth kicking in, I hadn't even noticed when I was with him. "Isn't it lovely outside? I never noticed how beeeeeaaaauuuuutiful this city is!" I held my head up and cackled into the black abyss. I looked down and felt a little dizzy. "Dusk!" I screamed and sprinted to her. She was dancing around the street sign.

"It does help. Thank you." Mallory smiled and rose from the floor. He knew how Lance felt about it, his father had laughingly felt the same, but it still frightened Mallory. He had to know that when he wasn't in control of himself, someone else could control him. It meant a lot to him. "Alright; let's get going then." He agrees, following Lance. One truth he couldn't deny, though. He'd never in all his years enjoyed feeding nearly as much as he just had. It was practically erotic how much he'd relished in drinking blood from Lance. But that was alright, wasn't it? Lance would be fine; he'd said so. Maybe enjoying his feeding really wasn't such a horrible thing.

Lance took what looked like a photo album from the door and took out two small blue books, and then put them in his pocket. "Put a coat on, " He instructed, his voice not quite commanding but close enough. Lance let a smile wash across his face and he leaned against the door, waiting for the boy to be as ready as possible, they would have to walk to a cab, and go to the next town over to catch a plane, there was one that went straight to New York that he wanted to catch, otherwise they would have to fly up to Dublin then over to new jersey. "It’s chilly out.” He put his hand on the door knob ready to go the second the boy was.

Mallory put on a coat as he was instructed. He thought to ask whose, but in honesty everything he was wearing belonged to someone else. If he started getting curious now, they would be here all night. "I am ready." Mallory smiled, buttoning the last of the coat's buttons. "Shall we, mon amour?" He approaches Lance and takes his arm.

"Like sister-" I cut myself off, knowing that I had already gotten the phrase wrong. I held onto the street sign so that I wouldn't fall back down. "Hello, Dawn! Where have ye been?" I laughed at my silly words, almost falling. I twirled once more around the pole but accidentally let go, hitting into Asher. "Well, hello there," I ran my hands up his chest, but quickly spun back around facing Dawn. I giggled a little leaning back into him.

"Maun Aimower?" He asked and opened the door rushing the boy out with him before closing it behind him. He held the boy's hand tightly, not wanting anything to happen to him, and rushed down the street, his eyes searching for a cab. They walked a few minutes before he spotted one. It was parked outside of a club and its yellow sign was on. "Ok." He sighed and approached it. He opened the passenger door and slipped into the seat letting Mallory have the back to himself.
The driver was an elderly gentlemen and he nodded as they go t into the cab. :Were to?" He asked not looking back at Mallory, his eyes only focused on Lance. "Next town over, Tomdee airport." Lance said and crossed his ankles as he tried to get comfortable. He snaked his hand behind his seat to put it on Mallory’s knee

Mallory is, as always, amused by Lance's complete inability to pronounce French. "It means my love." he did not even try to repeat it. Though it might have been entertaining to listen to Lance try it a few more times. Mallory lets Lance lead him along, jogging a bit to keep up with Lance's pace. Lance found a taxi and Mallory slipped into the back.
The taxi driver paid no mind to Mallory and subsequently only received one curious glance before Mallory returned his attention to Lance. The hand on his knee made him smile and he interlaced his fingers with Lance's. He tried to remind himself that this was rather serious and that he ought to be focusing. But what was there to focus on? They were in the taxi; for now he could just relax.

Lance sat back and watched the road ahead of them, he focused on the feel of His young love's hand on his. "All most there." He said after a few minutes. The lights of a new city could bee seen up the road a few miles. Lance felt guilty leaving his boy's and Alexia, but he had to. He had a new responsibility now, and that was his main priority. "How do you say my love again?" He asked hoping to at least get that phrase down. It sounded so pretty when Mallory spoke French at him, he loved it even if he did not know what it meant, he would have to learn.

"Mon amour." Mallory replied, the very words spreading the smile on his lips. Every time he said them, a warmth spread in his heart. Mallory looked forward at the road. They were drawing closer to their destination; it wouldn't be much longer now. It was crazy to think that here he was in a taxi with his beloved, headed away from Tamatha. There were people he would sorely miss, but he could not even pretend he would miss this place. Would they be happy for him that he was safe and away? Mallory certainly hoped so.

"Moun Amuoer." he said trying to say it like the boy but, but failing. "It's so pretty." He said and smiled when he could see the gates of the airport. The cab pulled up to the front of the building and Lance paid the cab driver, and then got out, getting Mallory's door for him. "Come Moen Amuer" He smiled and held out his hand to help the boy to his feet quicker. "We must go, we have twenty minutes. To buy tickets and get on the plane." He pulled the boy from the cab and closed the door, racing to the ticket desk. He purchased the tickets, Flashing their American passports. He was using the passport of one of his housemates who kind of looked like Mallory and the attendant was not really paying attention so he slipped though. Lance dragged the boy though security and finally onto the large plane that would fly them across the ocean.

Mallory chuckled softly. These attempts were still quite a bit better than Lance's first and he could not bring himself to correct it. It was much too wonderful to hear Lance say those words to him, even pronounced incorrectly. Besides, they had only twenty minutes left! There was no time at all to nitpick about language. Mallory raced alongside Lance to get their tickets. He had not even thought about a passport, nor did he actually have one, but it seemed Lance had that covered as well. Before he knew it they were actually on the plane! Mallory squeezed Lance's hand a bit nervously and smiles up at him. "Mon dieu, I almost was not certain we'd make it at all."

"Dyew?" He asked grinning. He put his arm around the boy's shoulders and leaned his head against the fair haired child's. "I do not know French Moun Amuoer, You will have to explain for me." He laughed and kissed the top of the boy's head softly. "Though I wish I could learn it's so beautiful a language, and you make it sound all the more alluring. I fear I will fall under you spell." He sighed, the ride would take many hours and they had not yet left the ground.

Mallory laughs and presses a kiss to Lance's jaw. "Mon dieu; my god. Please forgive me; You see, my father has spoken French to me for years. He would rarely speak English at all and I, determined that I would impress him, embraced the language fully." Mallory gave a self deprecating smile as they took seats. "It often feels more natural to me to use Français as opposed to English. But I will gladly try to teach you. Unless, of course, that would ruin this bespellment you speak of. I rather enjoy the thought of having you completely enchanted, mon cher bien-aimé."
