((oh no, no worry not. i'll NPC pomfrey and explain it))
Desiree bolted with him upstairs, rushing into the Hospital Wing but staying near the door.
Jess was moaning on the bed, her eyes widening with fear as she saw the blood beginning to stain the sheets. "Oh dear Merlin..."
Madame Pomfrey bustled into the room, covering her mouth with her hand as she looked at the sight. "What the bloody hell was the spell you used?"
"N-Negato fertiliam...I wanted to hide the-owwwww!" She bolted upright, clutching her stomach as the blood still rushed out.
Madame Pomfrey sighed. "That's not a disguise spell, it's an abortion spell, you foolish girl. Learn to read." She ran back into her office and grabbed a small bottle quickly, nearly sprinting back with it. "Drink this, all of it, immediately." She handed her the bottle and made sure she drank it all before pulling Peter aside. "How long ago did she do this?"

"About a minute or two ago," answered Peter. Abortion. It was a decidedly nasty word, and seeing the blood made Peter's head spin. Turning a light shade of green, he struggled to another bed and lay down on it. "She'll...be alright, won't she?"

"She should be if it was only a minute. Good thing of you to bring her right away. That particular spell works within 15 minutes." Madam Pomfrey shook her head and watched as Jess finally stopped writhing with pain, now just sort of laying there catatonically and trying to get her breath back. "Listen, I know she's big on her figure and all, but you need to keep an eye on her. She is way too small for how far along she is, and now with that blood loss, she's not looking too well. Make her eat, that girl is at least ten pounds underweight. I'm going to keep her overnight if you don't mind." Though it was obvious that she would keep her even if he did mind.

"No, no. Go ahead. She'll be better off here, anyway." Peter looked at Madame Pomfrey worriedly. "I'm not good at that sort of thing. Making her do things. She's very...adamant."

Madam Pomfrey hmphed. "Obviously." She looked to Jess again and sighed. "Pregnancy is very hard on young girls. You need to make sure you're always there for her, always around. If you want I can ask Professor McGonagall if you two might be able to get your own room to sleep in. We can ask the Head Boy and Girl to move out of their suite temporarily if they don't mind."

Hmm. After all, they'd be living together later, anyway. They might as well get used to it. "That's not a bad idea. And I'm sure Jess wouldn't exactly mind either. If the Heads agree to it...that would be great."

Madam Pomfrey nodded. "I'll go get something to clean up the blood. You just...try to knock some sense into her alright?" She bustled away and retreated into her office.

OOC: See, you should have posted when you had the chance. xD
Peter inched over towards Jess. "Are you...is it better now?" he asked, deciding to put the subject of her eating away for right now.

((now you missed the baby drama weee))
Jess nodded, though by know she was crying silently as she ran her hand across her stomach. Her lips and skin looked a little pale still. "I'm a terrible mother...a terrible person...I don't deserve you or a baby..."

Peter, desperate to make things better, stepped forward and took Jess's hands. "That's not true. At all. Madame Pomfrey just fixed it; it's alright now. We can handle the rest of your pregnancy. Both of us. Together."

Jess looked up at him, gripping his hands tightly as she just let herself cry. "I really don't deserve you. And I'm so weak. You're going to hate me once I get fat and then you'll leave me and everyone will call me a slut and i'll have this baby all alone and I'm not strong and I'll die."

Peter was flabbergasted. "No!" he answered, so firmly and strongly that it surprised himself. "I'm not going to hate you, ever. Even if you did do something wrong, you have my child with you, and I could never hate you. Listen....Madame Pomfrey said that we could have our own room together. The Heads' Suite."

"What?" Jess was rather disbelieving of this, especially with Pomfrey's treatment of her. "Are you serious?"

"Absolutely. Believe it or not, Jess. She wants you and the baby to be alright. We all do," he added, "So...you'd be alright with it, wouldn't you?"
