kaopiper Zetan I have $2.15 in Canadian money that I got just from looking around... See, at work, we have one of those Coinstar mahines (the ones that count your money for you, for a small fee, and spit out a slip that can be redeemed for cash). But, of course, they don't take Canadian coins. In fact, they usually just get ignored. So, since people obviously don't care about this Canadian money, I've been taking it for myself. With coins, at least, they can usually be used in anything that isn't a vending machine or otherwise automatic.. though I'm not sure about this dollar coin. dollar coins are a yes. but the price coinstar takes (8.9 cents for every dollar) is ridiculous No, I mean it's a Canadian dollar coin. I don't know whether other places will accept them. I know Coinstar won't.. that's why I have it. It fell into the bin of rejected money and someone just left it there.

Rolling your own is much more reasonable, unless you're lazy.

Zetan I was looking at your sig, Koukon... particularly at the elf with the "Trust Nothing" text under it. I was thinking... that text would be really funny put under the cute little kitty on the far left side of the sig. whee xd

Me too! I say that 8.9% of your pocket change is a small price to pay for the amount of work it takes to roll them. I mean, think about it. Rolling change takes hours. If you compare the hours and hours of work it would take to roll, say, $10 worth of change to the 89 cents or so of it Coinstar takes, it's really a great deal. Paying less than a dollar to save over an hour's worth of work is really good, when you think about it. If I could get away with paying someone less than a dollar an hour to do something tedious for me, you bet I'd do it.

*sighs* Does anybody know how I can update my video card WITHOUT having to go out and buy a new one? If so, could you give me a link to a place I could maybe download the upgrade?
And if not, do you know how much a new video card costs?

And if not, do you know how much a new video card costs? Sorry.. only way to update a video card is to buy a new one. And the prices vary dramatically, depending on what you want to do with it. Is it some game you want to play? I'd suggest either a Radeon or a GeForce... probably the most recent one.... they're supported by pretty much everything.
