Jeff sat there staring blankly at Katrina. "Don't just sit there! Drink your goddamned milkshake! Yakov and I worked hard making that for you!" Jeff did as he was told. "You've let her walk all over you! What? Did you think that would make this all better? No! Now she is going to contiue walking all over you and Yakov. She one the fight so she took your place in the pack, which means she is head alpha. ANd I know just by looking at you that you are no submissive pup!"

Mr. Anderson continued to chuckle. "Alright, I assume you can see yourself out when you are ready. I have to get the bills done."

Yakov didn't know whether to smile or cringe. Jeff needed this but it seemed a little harsh.

Holly hugged him. "Thanks. Now to actually get what I went out for." She kissed him on the cheek and headed out of the house.

Jeff stopped drinking his milkshake. "What the hell is your problem?"
Katrina glared at him. "You are. My son wants to join your pack and since I have no pack to speak of, you guys are my closest thing! There is no way that you can just sit on your a** and do nothing while Luka, whose sanity is only so so, goes around and makes plans! Obviously you are in no condition to fight anytime soon, but hte only way to settle the problems the two of you have is to fight it out, it's what weres do."
Jeff glared back. "Kyle isn't joining our pack."
"Like hell he isn't! My son is 18. He can decide what he wants to do with his like for himself! If he wants whats her butt to change him, then all the more power to him! It. Is. None. Of. Your. Business." Katrina was only inches away from Jeff's face when she finished.

Okay, now Yakov was confused. What was that about Kyle? Maybe it was time he went in there, but it sounded like Jeff was about to get mad and he knew he would be expected to take sides.

Holly made it to the store and was headed back for the house in pretty good time. She probably wouldn't even need an excuse for the time it took to stop at Kyle's. Unfortunately, she'd managed to get herself more worked up. Did she wait till Kyle asked her? Would that just get awkward? Would he never ask her since she'd been so adamant about not doing it?

Jeff was upset. He opened his mouth to yell at her when Katrina continued. "I am his mother. I went through 8 hours of labor without meds to bring his pretty little head into this world. I don't care if you are the ******** Queen of England! My son, my rules." Katrina motioned to the milkshake. "Drink it and shut up. We'll continue pack training once you are better." Katrina smiled gently and strode out of the room. She stopped for a split second with Yakov. "He is going to need some serious work." Before striding up the stairs and into the room with her son.

Well, at least he was pretty much way over being mad at Jeff now and could go and give in to the need to comfort him in piece, but damn that women could sting. He peaked his head around the door for the second time that day. "Jeff?"

Holly aimlessly wandered inside and up the stairs, thoughts still running through her head. I suppose I could just tell him I've decided to do it, but will he just want me to do it now. I don't think I'm ready for now, or ever really. And if I tell him I've decided I will, I just don't know when, hell probably get sick of waiting around not knowing if its ever gonna really happen. She didn't even realize she'd made it inside her room.

Jeff looked up and a little surprised. "Uh, hey Yakov."

Katrina had been sitting on the bed checking Kyles fever. She and Kyle both looked up when Holly came in.

Jeff rubbed his temple. "Better I think, thanks for the milkshake by the way."

Kyle waved at her and then turned to Holly. "Mom says my fevers gone."
