“Cory, I'm hungry!” Leslie whined for the 10th time in the past 20 minutes. “I know, I know. We're heading towards the cafeteria now.” Cory explained, for about the 5th time. He loved his sister. But, she was getting annoying real fast. It was probably due to the fact she was super hungry. You couldn't expect all that much from a seven year old. Any who, he was just extremely happy that he could finally see her.

The whole day had been fun, well besides the moment where he walked in on Mitsukai cuddling with Kyuubi. That part sucked. It had left Leslie nagging nonstop for 10 whole minutes. It also made Cory feel miserable and his Mother was disappointed. Although, once Cory showed her the training room, Leslie had completely became interested in other things As in, seeing how many animals Cory could turn into in 30 full minutes. Then they continued to tour the campus. He had showed them every thing worth seeing. Now he was tired and ready to eat. Leslie was too, and she was making it very clear.

“Cory, I'm still hungry!”

Cory looked down at his little sister. Okay, it was more like glared down at his little sister. They already played how many animals Cory could turn into. Therefore, no more counting games. Especially ones involving Leslie repeating the same thing over and over.

“Well, lookie here! We're at the cafeteria!” Cory snapped. Luckily nothing fazed that little girl. His harsh tone did get him a look from his mother. “Sorry.” He mouthed as they walked through the line. In a matter of moments Leslie was satisfied with a tray full of food. She had gotten herself some cheese pizza and fries. Cory's Mom had gotten herself a salad and a small fruit cup, which consisted on peaches. Cory had grabbed himself two slices of cheese pizza and some fries. Cory's Mom kept glaring at their food in disgust. All Cory had to do was suppress his urge to laugh, and she wouldn't flip.

But when he chuckled, and turned it into a fake cough, his mother glared at him. “I will throw out your food and make you get a salad.” That made Cory laugh harder, which made Leslie burst into a fit of giggles. Ahh, family time. It was so perfect. Cory's Mom just settled to eating her salad quietly. Yep, she was definitely on a diet.

After Leslie and Cory finally stopped laughing, Leslie launched into a huge story about this girl who ate weird at her school. “Yea, she always comes in class with fake meat! It's like plants that they make into a meat looking thing. And when we offer her something with meat, he face has this gross look.” Cory couldn't help but to roll his eyes at his sister. Sure, it was weird that a second grader turning veg head. It was probably forced. Obviously Cory's Mom hadn't filled Leslie in on weird diets. Leslie surly did talk a lot and Cory would surly miss her once she left back for Cyprus Springs.

This girl was taller than him, he realized as he stood on her level to follow her. Damnit, that kept happening. He was sure he’d hit a growth spurt this year, but all these chicks being taller than him was kind of humiliating. The guys were bigger than him, too, which was kind of undermining. He kept having to remind himself that he had this amazing power and how much he could use it to his advantage, and then it would perk him up a bit and give him a little more of an edgy feel. So, that’s what he did then: Sure, Meredith was taller than him. But he could throw bolts of electricity at her head, so that made it okay. …All right, so that sounded a little messed up, but whatever. He had power, and one day everyone would realize it, and the world would seem shorter and beneath him. One day. But for now, he had to deal with being the short, awkward, skinny kid. He wondered if there was a person here with a power to change someone else’s appearance instead of just their own. A mutual shape-shifter? No, that was too weird. Why did he go off on this track? ‘Maybe I’m just weird.’

Meredith. ‘Meredith, Meredith, Meredith…’ he repeated in his head to keep track. He’d look her up later, but he was pretty sure this was the Legend Meredith, and not just some random person with the same name. Though she didn’t seem very… Legend-y at the moment. He somehow imagined the Legends would be like, intimidating and overbearing and stuff. All full of knowledge and awesomeness. If Archimedes hadn’t known that the Legends existed, he might not have recognized her as one. Maybe that was the thing of it, though, that they were just regular kids. Regular, normal, weak kids. Just like the rest of them. Well, slightly less weak than everyone else, but overall. He supposed she was attractive enough, though he wasn’t necessarily attracted to her. She seemed pretty mainstream looking, which was always a disappointment. Why couldn’t people be more individual? ‘You’re all sheep. Baaaaaaa,’ he thought with a smirk. Yeah, so he was a little weird.

Wow. The Legend Lounge was phenomenal. This made him uber jealous. Why did these kids get such an awesome chilling space? Man, it just wasn’t fair. Maybe he’d be a Legend sometime. He didn’t really know what it took to be one, but for this kind of hook up, who wouldn’t want to be one? What made these kids so much better than everyone else that they got all this stuff? Meredith would surely have answers. There were tons of games for every game system, which made his fingers itch to jump into them. He recognized most of them, but some seemed to be foreign or something. Well, of course some of the Legends would have expensive foreign games; it wasn’t a secret that lots of people bought their way into something, so it wouldn’t surprise him if one of the Legends (or more) used their money for influence. Sometimes that’s what it took to get ahead in life. The Internet was probably faster down here, too.

There’s the coffee! Well, she wasn’t a liar. The coffee smelled amazing and he was eager to try the Legend coffee. Haha, ‘Legend coffee.’ When had he become such a douche? He watched closely as Meredith made her coffee the way she liked it which was… kind of sickening, actually. He wrinkled his nose as he watched the five thousand pounds of sugar being dumped into that cup. How could people ruin perfectly good coffee that way? First you ruin the flavor of the coffee beans with a flavored creamer, then sweeten and deaden the taste even more with sugar. Such disrespect for the taste of the coffee. Sure, they were dirt beans ground up and run through water, but they were good dirt beans. So, Meredith didn’t really like coffee; she liked coffee-scented vanilla sugar juice. Ew.

After she was done, Archimedes took it upon himself to show her how a man drank coffee. You didn’t add all that froofy vanilla crap and then a pound of sugar. Firstly, he poured the coffee into a mug — some artsy, painted black mug, much better than those Styrofoam thingies you get in the teacher’s lounge — and then took a sip. Hmm. Arabica. Bold. Very nice. It had been sitting around cooking for awhile, though; he could tell, since it tasted slightly burnt. That happened when coffee was left on heat for too long. It got a burnt, sour aftertaste to it that was unpleasant. He would have much preferred to brew it fresh, but he’d have to make due. To counteract the burnt taste of the overcooked brew, Archimedes added a smidge of unflavored milk — just a tiny bit to take that burnt edge off the taste. Ahh, much better, he decided as he took another sip. That’s how you prepare coffee, he thought triumphantly.

Then she asked his name. He was surprised she didn’t already know, since she had dropped in on his little lunch thing with that group of kids. What were their names again? Cory, Adam, Daina, aaaand… someone else. He couldn’t remember. Cory and Adam stuck out in his mind, though — annoyingly so. He blushed a little at the memory, and tried to pass it off to Meredith as shyness. “Archimedes,” he mumbled slightly, hiding his face behind his coffee mug whilst taking a hearty swig. He averted his eyes, thinking maybe his rosiness could be because of the coffee. Hopefully that’s what she would think. But maybe changing the subject would be a better tactic.

“Soooo,” he started off conversationally, taking a seat on one of the very comfy-looking armchairs. He put his right ankle on his left knee, trying to figure out how to phrase this question. “What’s this ‘Genius Legend’ thing all about? Do you really have to be like, a genius? Is that based on IQ or what?” Okay, so he was passing himself off as dumber than he actually was, but hopefully it would get a more honest answer out of her and she wouldn’t see that he was really trying to get some down and dirty info. Was there some kind of dirty work required? Did you have to beat down everyone else in some kind of competition? Did some of the kids sleep/pay/manipulate their way in? He wanted to know everything. It took off the burn of having a parents day with no parents. Just focus on something else.

“Mitsukai, I'm right here.” the voice echoed. He had been so far away, but now he was back. He was going to be there to fix her. She was going to be alright. She just had to find him, he was here. He swore he was. He promised! Mitsukai continued walking the tedious path towards the bright light. His voice was coming from there. He was there. She just had to find him. She had to! Mitsukai ran, fell, got up, and ran again. She continued this pattern until she reached the light. Until she could see his face, and his outstanding eyes. His brunet curls were just as adorable as she remembered. It was as if he was saving all his beauty for this moment. It had been almost a month, and it was well worth it. Yet, his face was changing. The beauty was changing into a mixture of sorrow. Soon an almost mirror image of herself was standing before her. Unlike her, this face was full of evil and grime. It had a mischievous smirk. This someone was never going to leave her alone. “I'm back.” The woman teased. All Mitsukai could do was scream.

Mitsukai was screaming when she woke up. She quickly shot up and pulled her blanket around her. “Just a dream.” She reminded herself. It seemed as if that was the first words she said every morning now. Her thoughts were filled with nightmares. Everything was ruined. Her life would never be the same.

Goodness, she really needed to start being optimistic.

Mitsukai got herself up and walked to the shower. She took the longest shower she could possibly take. Making sure she washed off every ounce of sweet and tears from her skin. When she was done she towel dried her hair and pulled it up in a cheerleader style ponytail, with her hair still damp. She then pulled on a pair of black sweets and a Georgia Bulldogs hoodie. Similar clothing had taken over her entire wardrobe lately. Her more flattering clothing were stored away in her closet, long forgotten. Not only had her fashion sense seen better days, her bedroom floor had too. Her floor was scattered with paintings and paint. Trash and other contents were strewn across the white carpet. Her room looked very lived in, which was exactly the case.

Mitsukai had been hiding away in her room for about two weeks. Ever since Nikky had gotten all haywire on her personal life, she hid. She only escaped her room for her one meal of the day. It was sad how Mitsukai's poor eating habits came back once she hit her stage of depression. If Joseph figured out how little she had been eating, or the 8 pounds Mitsukai had lost in the past two weeks, he would go parent mode. Of course, Joesph hadn't really been there. He wanted to, but she was so distant. He had trouble communicating and just left her alone. However, some nights he came over to sleep with her. His goal was to calm down her nightmares, nonetheless they both woke up by her screams at 4am. He even came over sometimes to tidy her room up some. It was the only reason her place wasn't a wreak. It was just messy, which was still something bad for her.

Mitsukai couldn't really recall the happenings of all her other friends. She didn't sit with them at breakfast. She didn't talk to them or text. She had been skipping all of her classes. She even persuaded the Principal to get all the teachers to send the assignments to her room, so she'd stay ahead. She didn't know if Vincent was alright. She didn't know if Kyuubi had done anything Satori related. She didn't know if Nikky had gotten her voice back. She didn't know if L or Nikky were still fighting. She didn't know anything. She was lost in her own little world of depression. It wasn't the ideal place but it was all Mitsukai had left.

Mitsukai slipped on a pair of Nike shoes and headed toward the cafeteria. The air was refreshingly cool. You could tell that fall was approaching, even some of the leaves were changing color. The few outside hallways were probably the best in the school. The indoor ones, that were near all of the classrooms, were far to crowded. Then again, at 6:15 in the morning, there wasn't much of a crowd. It was bare and empty. Definitely relaxing. Mitsukai loved the halls early morning. However, she had to force down some food. So, Mitsukai opened up the Cafeteria doors.

The first thing Mitsukai noticed were the stares. The were always the hardest part of her day. It was one of the main reasons she avoided lunch and dinner. “Wow, she looks a lot thinner.” Some junior whispered. “I wouldn't doubt it, this is the only meal she eats.” Mitsukai wrapped her arms around her waist protectively. It was none of their business of her eating habits. However, they believed that everything was their business. She just had to ignore it.

Mitsukai quickly walked in and got herself a bowl of Special K cereal (the kind with strawberries) and Soy Milk. She the sat down at her back table in the far corner. It had became her spot for the past month of so. She then looked down at her food, swirling it around with her spoon. She then took a bite, forcing the muck down her throat. Eating was so hard. Everything was so hard.

Brianne was finally starting to enjoy the college classes at Genius. Though, it was true that she was hardly spending any time with her once classmates, the underclassmen. However, she had more freedom than they did around the school, for two reasons. One being that she was a college student, and the other the fact that she was a Genius Legend. Overall, she loved it, except for the fact that Mer was still there. Little Miss Mer, who thought she could fall for her brother. There was no way she'd ever want to have her around like that, even thinking of the mere possibility that she could have been her future sister-in-law creeped Bri out more than anything.
Bri had awoken earlier than usual, especially for her, and glared at the alarm clock, with it's glowing numbers. She'd never fall back asleep before she had to get up. So, grudgingly, she got up out of bed, ran a hand through her black and pink mop of hair, and picked up her glasses, placing them on her head. Since her vision was sharper now, she looked through the dim light of her room for the bedside lamp, and turned it on. Streching one last time before heading to her closet, she went and picked out her clothes, nearly tripping over a textbook in the process. Yeah, her room was a mess, but when wasn't it? She liked to think of it as an obstacle course designed to keep her fit. She dodged the wastebasket as she stepped in front ot her dresser. She knew she'd get around to cleaning it, or at least straightening it up sometime soon, but it was more like eventually. At least it was her own room. Rummaging through her recently restocked dresser, she decided on a simple pair of faded jeans and a pink polkadotted shirt with a black vest.
Once the issue of clothing was out of the way, she headed to the bathroom to start her shower after plugging her ipod into her stereo, listening to Lady Gaga's 'The Fame Monster' album. As soon as 'Teeth' started playing, she hopped into the shower, happily singing along.
After a short while, she was out of the shower and dressed, working on straightening her hair. As the clock inched nearer to seven, she remembered something. She promised her brother she'd meet him for breakfast. Usually she skipped breakfast, and it was a habit her parents, and every now and then, her brother, would nag her about. She shrugged as she thought about it, then began applying her make-up. When she deemed herself presentable, she grabbed her jacket and headed down to the cafeteria, wishing she could crawl back into bed and sleep til she had to get up for class.

"Got a secret
Can you keep it?
Swear this one you'll save
Better lock it, in your pocket
Taking this one to the grave"

L rolled over on her Queen size bed, sprawling onto her back as she glanced at the clock's flashing red numbers. She'd have to "get up" soon. Not wanting to hear to buzzer she flicked off the alarm and sat up on her heels. L hadn't even bothered trying to get to sleep lately. She was turning into and insomniac and barely got any sleep anymore. Plenty of proof to that statement, her eyes were ringed in black. It wasn't unattractive really- they weren't puffy bags. but it looked like she had gotten punched in each eye. Or like one of the 101 Dalmatians. She shrugged her headphones off her ears, 'Lions' by 'The Features' blasting into her room. After a brief yawn the plug to her headphones was ripped out of her iHome, allowing the racket to flow full volume throughout her little house. The good thing about her insomnia was how compulsive she had become. Not having anything else to do the eight-something-hours she was supposed to be asleep, she would clean. Not just clear the trash off her carpet clean. Scrubbing the bathroom, emptying the dishwasher, mopping the floors, vacuuming the carpet, etc. It annoyed Adam to no end, but he's the one who insisted on sharing a place with her. He should have gotten his own.

Though to be fair, she was a welcomed roommate until the latest drama occurred. The whole feud between her and Nikky. The funny thing about their fight was that it wasn't really a fight. Neither of them had directly confronted the other. They hadn't even addressed the others feelings for Joseph. Instead they both made excuses to not be in the same room, and did the best they could at not even glancing in the others direction. Acting like kindergartners, that's for sure. But L wasn't one to back down from a feud, and anyway she was still really hurt by what had occurred. It could be fixed if Joseph knew, but he seemed oblivious to everything. He hung out with each of them blissfully safe in his own little world. Though L wasn't sure anymore if she'd want him to know. What if he chose Nikky? she shuddered at the thoguht and stopped herself from thinking any further. It was unnecessary. Though today she should probably make some effort to sit with the group in Breakfast. Lately she'd been drifting around Cory. Sher didn't even mind his presence anymore, and she used to be anti-Cory after all the drama with Mitsukai. Oh, how things change.

Speaking of change, she smelled liked cleaner. After crinkling her nose in disgust L stripped off her T-shirt and panties, skipping into her bathroom where she turned the water full blast so the steam would fill the room. The earlier song continued to play as she sang along. "Oh-oh-oh-ohohoh, oh-oh-oh-ohoh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ohohohoh!" She smiled for what felt like the first time in forever as she scrubbed her insomnia away in a watermelon fragrance.

After wrapping her hair up in a towel she slipped into a faded purple crop-top and black skinny jeans. After putting on a few chain necklaces she clipped on some black-and-white star earrings and removed the towel from her hair, ruffling the golden streaked strands. when she finished taming the mess on her head she hurriedly applied her make-up before snatching her black messenger bag and waltzing out of the room. Literally, waltzing, because she was just that desperate for amusement. L pressed the STOP button on her iHome, pausing for a moment to examine her nails, which she had painted absurdly bright colors after two hours of straight-up coffee. With a shrug she snatched her hat off the hat rack and danced out the doorway in search of the Cafeteria.

along the way she hummed softly to herself, but was otherwise silent as she pulled the rim of her hat down further over her eyelids. Finally. Her destination was achieved. Yanking open one of the doors she shoved her way through one of the clustering groups. It seems she had awoken a little too late, students were already forming their tight-knit cliques and the low murmur of voices was becoming increasingly loud. After a quick glance she noticed Mitsukai sulking in one of the back tables. She figured she'd out to sit by her. After snatching an apple off some passerby's plate L wandered over to said table and dropped her bag down with a small smile. "Mind if I join?"

"If I show you then I know you
Won't tell what I said
Cause two can keep a secret
If one of them is dead"

Genius Academy. He liked it. for the most part. He could quietly do all his classwork and then sneak away without anyone bothering him anymore. Before he was a Legend that was different. Everybody wanted to talk. Wanted to make friends. Wanted to spar. He was tired of it. After being granted the title of Legend, no one's bothered him much. Except, of course, other Legends. And the few freshman, who get giddy at the sight of a Legend or want to show off a power, as if they were big and bad.
No, this title comes with respect. Harman is forever grateful for that. Nevertheless he still had family duties to attend to and he had made Brianne promise to be at breakfast today. If he didn't go he wouldn't know if she had gone, though Bri usually kept to her promises. A shower was unnecessary since he had showered before bed so Harman just stuck to the basics: combing out his hair and brushing his teeth. He shrugged into a black button-up T-shirt and black denim jeans, fastening them tight with a black studded belt. Mock his dull choice in fashion all you wanted to, but he was one of the darkest Legends. Black is a mysterious color. Suave. Elegant. It fits no matter what the occasion. And he always pulled the look off, so he never took heed of the complaints. He had no idea what time it was at the moment although he assumed it was early. Glancing out the window for a quick survey of the school grounds, he saw few students out and about. so they were either all still eating in the Cafeteria or half of them were still snug in their beds. Like he longed to be. What is it about sleep that is found just so addicting? He shook his head at the question he seemed to be constantly asking himself. He'd never answer it. Harman refocused his mind as he stepped into his- you guessed it - black converse hi-tops before stepping out the door. His morning strut to the Cafeteria was always refreshing for it gave him time to wake up and prepare himself for human socializing. No way he could carry on a conversation half asleep. It'd be a mess.

Ryuuki lied on the bed in his room, staring up at the ceiling. He had been like that for about an hour, luckily he didn't have a roommate to bother him. Two weeks in this strange world... How will I ever get back to Omecron? he thought to himself. I hate this planet, it's too... different... he thought to himself as he shifted his head to look at the world map above his bed. Earth... It's so... primitive? Yes that's the word. It is composed of mostly water, and all of it's cities are on the land... he thought.

Ryuuki turned to look at the desk beside his bed. On it, a silver stone radiated and glowed intensely. It's all this damn rock's fault! he thought to himself furiously. He got up and grabbed the rock, only to be shocked. "Ow! Stupid piece of-" he began to say furiously, as he dropped the rock back onto the table and clutched his arm. Ryuuki stopped himself as he looked outside of the window, something having caught his eye. He walked over to the window and looked out, but saw nothing. Ryuuki shrugged and walked back to his bed.

Several minutes later he got back up, surprised. He clutched his stomach, having felt a strange sensation. What the hell was that? he thought as he lifted his shirt. Ryuuki looked down at his stomach but saw nothing. Several seconds later, his stomach growled and vibrated once more. Maybe I should consult the nurse about this... he thought as he ran over to the door. His face smashed with the doors surface, causing him to fall backwards. Ow... I forgot, these doors aren't motion sensor. he thought to himself as he stood back up, rubbing the pain away from his nose. Ryuuki limped out of the room, opening the door and heading down the hall towards the nurse's office.

My room is the G-spot. Call me Mr. Flintstone; I can make your bed rock…

“Huh?” Meredith muttered as she rolled out of bed. Who was calling her at 6:30 in the freaking morning? She was not in a happy good morning mood. Who ever this was, she was breaking their head open.

Well, ales it was that sexy bartender from last night.

Meredith bite her lip in anticipation. She then grabbed her phone and answered. “Waky waky!” Why was Joseph calling her at 6:30? He had no right! She was going to rip out every single one of his brunet curls. Every single one. “WHAT DO YOU WANT!” Meredith growled. She was not in the mood for this. She did not want to talk to Joseph. He was not a sexy, possibly shirtless, bartender. She was not interested! “Do you mind gracing us with your presence at breakfast this morning?”

Oh, so he wanted her to grace him with her presence. She’d go alright. Then she’d rip his freaking head off. What was this kids problem. No, she DID NOT want to grace him with her presence. She wanted to SLEEP. She wanted to sleep until class started at 11. That’s what she wanted.

“Why not Joe!” She hissed. She then slammed down on the end button. That boy was so darn irritating. Why couldn’t he go find some girl to screw around with? Whatever, she was awake. So why not shove some eggs and bacon down her throat. Okay, maybe not bacon. Animal carcass didn’t sound good in the morning, or ever. Maybe the school would cook veggie sausages? Probably not. People really needed to get those things in the school. Eggs, biscuits, and OJ sounded very yummy this morning. Along with Josephs head on a platter.

Meredith walked to her closet, trying to pick out a reasonable outfit for the morning. However, nothing seemed suitable. After a couple of minutes flipping through her closet, she decided that she was not going to find a reasonable outfit. She would much rather go in her black softie shorts and white tank top. Of course, it was a tad to cold for that, so she slipped on a white Genius Academy sweatshirt over her tank. Then she fixed her ponytail and pulled on a pair of white flats. “That’s durable.” She mumbled. She then walked out of her room and headed towards the cafeteria.

Once Meredith walked into the cafeteria, she instantly noticed Harman. She could feel the butterflies rushing through her stomach. He was just so perfect. Mer quickly walked through the line and got herself a plate of eggs and biscuits. “Hey darling.” Meredith said as she slipped into the seat next to him. She looked up at him with a huge childlike grin. Harman brought out a whole other side of Meredith. Other guys were just for fun. None of them affected her like this guy did. Every touch or whisper made her flutter inside. The only one who even understood was Seiko, who was still gone to who knows where. She could never explain to Harman how he made her feel. She’d sound like a total ditz.

Daina Nova Anderson

Daina woke up to the soundtrack of Repo! The Genetic Opera, one of her all time favorite movies, though it wasn't very widely known. Zydrate Anatomy was playing from her speakers, easily her favorite song from the entire movie. It made her smile. 'And Amber Sweet is Addicted to the Knife..." She sang along, getting out of bed in an unusually cheerful mood. Going up to her ipod, she made sure it was going to stay on the Repo! soundtrack for the rest of her morning, while she was going to be getting ready for school. She brushed through her clean hair, seeing as she took a shower before she went to bed the night before. A few minutes of detangling later, she got up and went to her closet and dresser, bringing out her Jack Skellington outfit. The next song came on, and she laughed a little. It was called 'Who Ordered Pizza' some parts were funny. "I have you're new assignment...Hot off the meat truck..." Ah, Luigi Largo had some of the funnier lines in songs, the stab happy character and his face stealing brother were also the stars of the song Mark It Up, which came on after she finished getting changed and was getting dressed. It was hard not to sing along to Repo! songs. It was made of win and awesome. She unplugged her ipod from the tape adapter and plugged the headphones in, putting the left earbud in her ear, grabbing her school bag, a jacket, and heading out the door to breakfast, in the hopes of seeing Adam, listening to Repo all the way. Once she got into the cafeteria, she got in line and grabbed a piece of coffee cake and a small container of milk and headed out into the courtyard to enjoy the fall weather. All the plants were getting ready to go dormant for the winter, and everything was turning to hues of red, brown, orange, and yellow. She began singing along softly to her ipod. "Chase the morning, yield for nothing...." Sarah Brightman was in the song, the original Christine, from Phantom of the Opera, the one who the part was written for. It was cool she was in a movie like Repo. Yeah, she was in a Repo kick, seeing as it was getting closer to October, and there were bound to be Shadow casts around, something she was looking foward too.

ringgg ringgggg

Ugh, it was morning time already? He wasn't ready to wake up. But a few more hours of sleep would do Joe just fine.

Ringggg ringggg

Or maybe not. Fine, he was waking up. He was going to wake up and find Mitsukai. Ask if it was alright with her if he cleaned it today. Joe had became more responsible since Mitsukai's breakdown. He had managed to keep his room clean and hers clean. He also managed to do all the necessary shopping for the food. He kept Mitsukai's clothes washed and his own washed. It was hard taking care of them both, but she just wasn't doing anything.

She didn't talk and she didn't sleep well. She barely ate and she avoided everyone else but him. She didn't even thank him for all of his hard work. Not verbally of course. However, she showed it by allowing him into her world, since she had blocked everyone out. She somewhat tried to talk to him. Yet, she couldn't hide the fact she didn't want close relations with anyone. Joe didn't really mind. She needed a break, and he was going to give it to her.

Joesph sighed and rolled outta bed. 'Lets see.' he thought as he drifted through him closet. In the end he ended up with a pair of skinny jeans and a gray tee. He then pulled on a black jacket and some vans to finish off the outfit, then he walked outside.

While he walked to the cafeteria he decided to wake up his college friend. Meredith had a big problem with sleeping in, therefore Joe was going to fix it. “Waky waky.” He called into the phone, biting his lip so he didn't laugh at her growling response. “Do you mind gracing us with your presence at breakfast this morning?” Joe flirted. Although, he wasn't sure if her answer was an agreement or a line of heavy sarcasm. It sounded more as sarcasm, but maybe she would come. Although, he wasn't betting on it.

Joesph walked into the cafeteria. First he scanned the cafeteria for Mitsukai. She was at her regular seat, but L was there to. Great. She knew Mitsukai wanted to be left alone, hadn't she? Mitsukai couldn't handle being messed with. Oh well, L would figure it out when Mitsukai didn't talk, which she wouldn't. Joe then scanned the cafeteria some more. Two legends were there, Harman and Bri. Joe wasn't close to either and didn't really plan on becoming close. Some other familiar faces were there to, but no one who interested him.

At least, no one more interesting than food. Joe quickly walked to the line and picked up a huge plate of eggs and bacon. He then sat down at his regular table, hoping L would move over and sit with him. He then took a couple bites. Oh my goodness, heaven. He loved the food here. “Hey darling.” Joe peered up at the booming voice, directed at Harman. Meredith was twirling her hair and flirting, like always. But damn, she looked good in those short shorts. Maybe there were a few things in this room more interesting than his food and she was one of them.

Kyuubi left his room. His eyes were finally back to normal. They took forever to get that way. He hadn't look anyone directly in the eye when they were red. He sighed. He went to the cafeteria and got a simple breakfast. He looked around and saw Mitsukai. He saddened at looking at her. He missed it when she was bubbly but she was so quiet now. Even to him. He saw Joe sitting at the table. He saw Meredith flirting with someone he couldn't name at the moment. He sat down at a separate table like he had for a while. He began to eat slowly.

Ryuuki slowly walked towards the nurses office. He had stopped limping about a few second after he left his room, having quickly healed his bruises and aches. Ryuuki looked around as he walked. Where... Where is everyone? he wondered as he walked through the halls, noticing the absence of the students. In his two weeks in the strange planet, he had noticed the lack of activity early in the morning and late at night. There were always two students or so that were awake at these times however, claiming that their inborn ability needed the darkness or moon. As a result they had adapted and became nocturnal. Ryuuki racked his brain, trying to remember what they had told him. Those two... they said that all humans needed... Sleep? Yes I think that's what it was called. he thought to himself as he approached the nurses office. I'll have to ask someone what it means to sleep... he added to his train of thought as he opened the door and walked inside.

Ryuuki approached the front desk, ringing the small bell a few times. About a minute or two later, the nurse exited from the door in the back, yawning as she walked up to him. Her eyes flashed green as she looked at Ryuuki, observing him from top to bottom. The color then changed back to their usual blue, and she sighed once more. "Nothing seems to be wrong with you... You better have a good reason for waking me from my sleep kid." she said. Ryuuki looked at the nurse, a slightly hostile look in his eyes. Nothing wrong? Are you daft woman? My stomach seems to be on the verge of imploding on himself... And there's that sleep word again! Ryuuki thought to himself. Had it been a week earlier, he would have simply spoken it out loud, but he had a meeting with the councilor about his "hostile" behavior, and was told to process his thoughts in his head before sharing them. "I'm sorry... miss." Ryuuki answered, trying to keep from sounding hostile. "I suppose your, "illness detecting eyes" can't detect every illness." he said, grinning a little as he spoke. The moment the words left his mouth however, he wished that he hadn't spoken. "Excuse me? Are you challenging my abilities? Listen... I can easily locate your pressure points and take you out in a matter of seconds, so watch your mouth. If your simply here to annoy me, I'll report you and get back to bed." she said as she started to turn around. "I'd like to see you try you old hag..." Ryuuki grumbled to himself as he reach out and grabbed her arm.
"I'm sorry for my behavior miss, It's just that... my ability causes me to be quite impatient in the morning." Ryuuki said, carefully choosing his words as he spoke. It wasn't true at all, but as long as it would get her to shut up and help him Ryuuki didn't care. "You see, My stomach feels... strange. It's been vibrating and making strange noises all morning, and so I decided to get a... professional's opinion." Ryuuki added, carefully crafting his words to keep her from leaving. The nurse shook her head in disbelief. She turned around once more, and started heading back to the door. She held the door nob and opened the door, looking back at Ryuuki. "Stop trying to act funny kid. Just go eat at the cafeteria and stop wasting my time." she said before closing the door behind him. Trying to act funny? You'll have yours you decrypted fossil. he thought to himself before turning around and leaving the office.

Ryuuki walked down the hallway, watching the scenes unfolding around him. A few students were now awake, two or three of them yawning while another seemingly unconscious on the floor. I'll never understand the people of this world... he thought as he opened the door leading into the cafeteria and walked inside.

Ryuuki looked around the cafeteria. A small amount of students were scattered around the area conversing with each other and putting substances into their mouth. Ryuuki walked up to a group of students, standing in front of them. The pair was made up of a female and two males. "Excuse me, what is that... substance that you are placing into your mouth?" He said, pointing at the food on the girl's tray.

[[Just so you know I'm asking Joe and Meredith and some Harmon guy]]

Finally Harman had made it through the long line of starving students. It irritated him to have to wait when he just wanted a simple thing. He could always use his status to skip. But that would require actually talking to one of them. He wouldn't dare. So being as stubborn as always he waited in the line until he was able to grab a savory cinnamon bun. This is when he stepped out of line, flashing his ID to the staff members as he walked away with his valuable item.

Something about cinnamon was just too addicting. Never understood where that addiction came from. Nevertheless, he'd eat cinnamon even if they put it somewhere disgusting. Well not anywhere disgusting. He wouldn't eat anything that wasn't meant to be eaten. It would have to be edible. And really, it isn't anything. Just .. something that had a chance of being good. Like .. Cinnamon on a burger. It's possibly tasteful.

Now he wasn't that hungry after that whole rant. After tasting a piece of the cinnamon bun though he melted to his stomach's whim. This place knew how to cook. "Hey darling." Figures. He felt her slide into the seat beside him and turned just as she was situated, giving her the usual curl of his lips. Not a full-on smile. Never this early in the morning. "Hey." It was now that he noticed the outfit she was wearing, mainly the super short shorts. His eyes wandered to another table where he noticed Joseph staring as well, and one of his eyebrows lifted. His lips parted, but before he could speak a very confused looking male wandered up the the table. Harman could have answered, but he was talking directly to Meredith after all, so he decided to let her answer as he sampled another bite of his cinnamon treat.

"I intend to live forever. So far, so good."

Strangely Adam wasn't awoken by his alarm clock. Instead he woke to the sound of L singing loudly. He groaned and pulled his pillow over his head. He didn't need loud noises in the morning, or L's singing for that matter. Not that it was bad. Just unnecessary. Eventually he decided to be a man and he lifted the pillow off his face, sighing loudly. He went through his morning routine with ease: combing out his hair, brushing his teeth, and putting on clothes. That last one is always an essential. Going through his closet he grabbed his black denim skinny jeans and pulled them on, along with one of his favorite Zombie T-Shirts. He pulled on his checkered Vans and ran his fingers through his hair as he wandered out of his room and into the living room. He grabbed his usual wristbands and snapped them on before realizing his phone wasn't in his pocket. Adam turned around and saw it on the kitchen counter, snatching it up quickly. no messages or calls since the last time he checked. going through his contacts he found Daina's name and sent her a text. Morning. Good day today? Outside the weather was beautiful. All the leaves were caught in mid-hue and the temperature was perfectly cool. Autumn was definitely his season. He hoped Diana was in as good a mood as he was today. no fun in the group if someone's grouchy. Which, in turn, is the reason why he started sitting at Cory's table. All the drama was bumming up the normal table. Whoa! He caught himself from tripping over the threshold as he walked out of his dorm. Adam had been too lost in his thoughts to realize he was walking. Quickly he hit the SEND button and returned his phone to his back pocket as he dashed to the cafeteria. Once inside he filled up a plate with eggs and bacon and surveyed the cafeteria. Mitsukai was sitting off by herself and L was sitting at a table with Joseph. Mer was sitting with somebody who he didn't recognize, but knew was a Legend. Cory hadn't arrived yet so Adam decided to pick his own table, conveniently placed beside both of the tables he had previously mentioned. He would've sat with Joseph but he didn't want to interrupt anything if him and L were talking. she'd kick his a**.
