Freyr suddenly dropped, landing on the top of a large stone pillar. Tharazzi followed soon after.
"Why are we here?" the fire dragon asked, sitting on the pillar and calmly looking around at the landscape.
They seemed to be at some ruins. They seemed normal enough but there was an alien feel about the place.
Why not? the time dragon grunted, she then leaped from the pillar and spread her wings, gliding gracefully to the floor.
"There must be a reason." tharazzi called after the small purple dragon.
Maybe, yeah, but i'm not telling you! she teased, snaking halfway up the stone structure before sliding back down.
Come on! she called before bounding away happily.

"If others can do it on their own, why do you think i won't be able to?" the half moon elf asked calmly, his voice almost free of all emotion. There was a slight hint of sarcasm in his voice though.
"Am i not as capable as the other knights?" he asked.
You don't need him. You can find me on your own. shruikan butted in, his voice a snarling mess of emotion.
I know. tycho replied calmly. He secretly couldn't wait to meet the dragon, together they could become almost unstoppable.

Freyr wants you to meet us here. tharazzi muttered, sending a mental image of their location for Fire.
"Your dragon wants us to visit some ruins." the half panther muttered before beginning to walk away.
"What? Why?" neo called, hurrying after Fire.
"Why not ask her yourself." the fire knight grinned.
Where are we going? the alien asked his dragon.
Come. she replied.
Tharazzi suddenly appeared above them, casting a large shadow on the ground over them.
The fire dragon landed and waited for the two knights to climb on his back so that he could take them to the ruins and the time dragon.
It is further than you think. he muttered as he flew.
Neo frowned as he saw the ruins, they were familiar to him but he didn't know how.

As soon as Tharazzi landed Neo jumped off and began to examine the ruins. He ignored Freyr as she snaked over to him and began to also sniff around the ruins.
"They are familiar." he muttered, running his hand across a wall with a large picture spread across it in amazing, bright colours. "But i don't know why."
Fire came up behind the alien. "They are beautiful pictures. How old are they?" she asked.
"Old. At least 1000 years." he said softly, as if speaking above a whisper would disturb the ruins.
"These are not normal." the half panther pointed out. The colours of the picture shouldn't be so bright for its age.
"Yeah, i know."
The time knight left the image and continued to search the ruins.
Why did you bring us here? he asked the time dragon.
I sense something underground. Something important. the pale dragon suddenly disappeared under a large rock then popped up in front of him, holding a strange yellow stone.
"That? A stone?"
The dragon shook her head. It will help you. she assured the alien. Look after it.

Siencyn laid neatly into her lap, this time she wasn't planning to lean back. She rubbed the top of his head, leaving his hair in quite a mess. He shook his head vigorously and clawed out some random knots, then giving her a glare.

Emelin grinned at Siencyn and jerked her head up at the sound of her name being spoken.

"I'm sorry?"

Tycho frowned.
"If others can do it on their own so can i. It is the job of existing knights to take care of renegades such as Eyotto is it not?" the half moon elf smiled suddenly, raised a hand at the dragon chieftain and began to walk away from him.
Yes, we don't need him. shruikan said happily.

Jager's patience now broken, the Knight quickly manuevered infront of the arrogant and soon-to-be Knight.
"Tycho!" His voice deepened. "The worse mistake you can do as a Knight is assume that Eyotto is a mere 'renegade'. If he were only that, I would have been able to eliminate him long ago!" A shine of anger seemed to gleam in the Wisdom Knight's eyes. Valk'yar's eyes displayed the same emotions.
"He is too strong for any Knight alone, and thus is why I must look after my Knights!"
The emotion rose. "And don't think I didn't 'hear' that thought of being 'unstoppable'. No Knight can become of this level, especially one just starting out. This mistake that I made myself nearly lead to my downfall.." Jager's voice trailed off and he felt the wind blow this coattails and hair start to sway along with it.
"As the Knight of Wisdom, I learn and see into parts of the world unbeknownst to other humans, demons, or Knights... I've seen what is to become of such arrogance, and it is my duty to ensure I keep you from straying that path as well.."

Tycho smiled calmly and listened to the dragon chieftain's outburst without obvious emotion.
"If others can make the journey on their own so can i!" he stepped out away from the knight then turned back to face him.
"And you presume that i will make the same mistakes as you, human. I am not the same as you. If others can do this then so can i." the future life knight had been used to a life of work and hardship. Travelling to find a dragon shouldn't be too difficult for him.
"It is considered very bad manners, rude, to pry into anothers mind and view private conversations!" he was unable to keep a certain degree of anger from his voice. He once again raised his hand then walked away.
"Good luck Jager. We may never meet again."
He gripped his halberd tightly, if the human tried to talk to him again then he would attack. He didn't want to hurt anyone, he didn't want to make an enemy of the one he was to serve. But he had to do things his own way and make his own mistakes. If someone wanted to control others, they had picked the wrong person.
You are not a knight yet. You don't even have to become one. the life dragon paused. We do not have to serve him. This is our destiny and we can choose what to do.
