I have a question... If you could have any wish come true (and not a wish for more wishes), what would it be?

Koukon_Tenshi I have a question... If you could have any wish come true (and not a wish for more wishes), what would it be? Hm ... this is a good question to think about ... I'm not sure ... it needs more thinking ... but off the top o' my head, I'd say happiness.

I dunno what I would say... For me, being happy means being content, and I would love to be content. But I think happiness should be sought out on one's own... And when you are constantly happy, you really do not lean from negative experiences that can shape you for the better...

And I suppose life would not be very interesting then, either.

I hate temp angencies. xp How do they work? businesses call them and ask for coverage like when someone calls in sick, or goes on extended/maternity leave, vacation. or they get people from temp agencies to do bullshit jobs that no one else will do. or they're used to find people for positions with a high turnover rate (in my area there's a lot of mechanical/machinist positions, box-packing) for temp-to hire.
they're great if you can prove to them that you're reliable and able to do stuff and they like you. otherwise they generally blow. gonk

what would i wish for... you know i think about stuff like this all the time but i don't have a definite answer. i think that would wish for enough money that i could do whatever i wanted.... pay off my debts, make sure my parents are comfortable, invest a bit, and giving a LOT of money to animal rescues/rehabilitations, and a lot of money to various veterinary hospitals so low-income pet owners can get help affording basic care that could save their animals' lives.
when i worked at the animal hospital in boston it was infuriating to see ultrarich people do ANYTHING to save their animals when there was no chance of the animal surviving, whereas poorer people could only usually afford to have their pet euthanized, and not even able to receive their animals ashes. the cheapest urn was $65.
i remember one day clearly, a homeless man brought his cat (a stray that would often hang out with him) into the clinic in a cardboard box with big holes punched in. all it needed was some antibiotics and he couldn't afford it. so his cat's infection was going to eventually kill it. the look in his eyes as he was leaving was heartbreaking.
bah. must stop thinking about this. i can't afford to cry right now. mew.

but uh, to answer you question, yes. i would like to find a permanent job. xd
