Nyome > !!! Are you crazy? You are crazy. Yes, Norikorobo is the perfect soldier/child... but ouch for Lang!
If you want a non-poop robobaby, you must let me BUILD it with TOOLS and brainpow3r. biggrin
Valandal > Nooo! I will have control, just you wait.
Akahoshi > ... Did it really do that? O_o Jeez. It wasn't as bad for me as what I'm watching now, then. -_-
Alucard > Nothing dear, nothing. We're not trying to take over the world with an army of robot children.... biggrin
Yay! I have no work for a week because someone slammed their car into the stooooore! biggrin

Sir Langley Yay! I have no work for a week because someone slammed their car into the stooooore! biggrin (I'm not really happy about that, but anyways.) I KNEW it was "Drive Like an Idiot Day!" I didn't realize it was international, though. On the way home: -Got into the left turning lane, only to find that the street that I was going to turn onto was closed. Great. So I switched directionals. The woman behind me, sporting a lovely handicapped permit, started honking and pointing. I did some pointing of my own, some of which involved questionable fingers. The message was lost on her; she went AROUND me, realized she was an idiot, got stuck in the middle of the freakin' intersection, and nearly caused an accident getting back into traffic. And apparently, that's my fault. -A silver car merged (ie, hostily took over) the left lane, forcing a pickup truck into the turning lane. S/he didn't even see the truck, notice its driver laying on the horn, nor brake in the slightest as the truck drove alongside in the turning lane. The man was swearing loud enough for me to hear it over my Angry Man Music and flicking her off continuously. In retaliation, the truck driver sped up, cut HER off, then slammed on his brakes and put it in park in the middle of the road. I laughed so hard. Now that that's done... What happened to your store, Lang? xd

AD > Tch, of COURSE "Drive Like an Idiot Day" is international! I mean, it only makes sense. rolleyes
That sounds like quite the event, though. Dangerous, but funny... in a twisted way.
Aye! So, today was my day to open up the diner. I got there at 6am, as one should, on this lovely spring morning. Just as I left my car and started walking towards the back entrance, I noticed a nice big SUV back over an island in the parking lot, through a 'no parking' sign, over a curb and into the front corner window of the diner.
Naturally, I stood there for a few seconds, keys out, mouth agape. After I got over the initial shock, I hurried over to the driver of the SUV (to see if she was all right...) and asked, "Were you that disappointed with our coffee?!"
I suppose that was somewhat inappropriate, because it looked like she was going to start crying.
Anyways, she wasn't hurt. As it turned out, she had just spilled her soup (Wtf?) all over herself as she was backing out of a parking space and this somehow caused her to go over two curbs and through a window...
Oh, and as a result of this, my manager now believes that I'm cursed, since I was also the "first on the scene" when we had a woman break her leg outside the diner during the winter. biggrin
Today was fun. biggrin

AD>> Let's hear it for ROAD RAGE! xd I am so glad I don't live in or around a big city. My last trip through Dallas was more nerve wracking than a bull in a room full of waving red curtains.
And don't even get me started on my experiences driving in Houston. gonk I wonder if the driving habits would be considered "tame" by your standards or Lang's...
Lang>> O.o That is one whacky story...
[n]Nyome>> ninja

AD - yeah, only my permit, because no insurance. Actually, I have it now, I just have to get the proof of insurance from my mom so I can go to the DMV and take the test.

Not fair the only thing interesting that happened to me today was that I found a nickle in the school parking lot.
I don't drive, I've never really had a need to learn, plus I enjoy walking. I'll learn at some point but not right now.
Off to work on stuff. Later

Ashram - The real trick to road rage is holding the steering wheel in place with your knee and using both hands to flick people off. xd
Sj - Well, good luck when that happens! 3nodding
Akahoshi - Hey, I'd take a nickled over psychotic drivers any day. xd
Really? I can't imagine life without my car.

AD - I just live in a small town, and I've always been a 30 minute or less walk from from anything important in the town. Plus it keeps my weight the same no matter what, that a big reason to keep doing it.
Nyome - I don't know what it is but people make me very nervous. I've never been a people person, and I tend to prefer avoiding large groups. It something I really need to work on but it's really hard to work on it. Maybe when I get some guts I'll join your thread for some fun, but right now I'm a chicken.
I just finished a major part of my project and now I'm not so worried about time because it finish earlier than normal. Still more to do but less to worry about. And now because I said that everything is going to mess up. xp

Nyome - Careful driver, huh? No fun whatsoever.
xd ! You know nothing about Lang because she never talks about herself. You know lots about me because I recap my whole life for you all each day. "And then, I almost stepped in a puddle and I'm all 'dude, what in the eff' and my shoe nearly got wet...I hate wet shoes... And my friend laughed at me and I'm all, 'shut up your face!'..."
Akahoshi - I wish I were that motivated. xd
