Or, if anyone has ideas on how to improve the gameplay, I'm open to ideas. (Fairly, anyways...) As far as leveling goes, you have the option to select which class to level (Similar to DnD) upon gaining enough XP to level that class. The higher the class level, the more XP it costs to level, however, higher class levels boost your stats more and also make certain abilities available. E.g. At the beginning of the game the only class available is the Freelancer (Which has balanced stat boosts at each level) When the Priest class and Wizard class become available (pretty early on). You'll be a LV 3 Freelancer, LV 0 Wizard, LV 0 Priest. You can spend 10 XP to level Priest to LV 1, which will give you +2 MND, +1 INT, +10 MP, +5 HP and get the white magic spell 'Cure' available for purchase with AP. --OR-- You can wait and spend 16 XP to level the Freelancer class again, giving you a stat boost of +2 STR, +20 HP, +2 VIT, +2 AGI, +1 SPR. Higher stat boosts for a higher level. Does that make sense?
Basically, this allows complete customization of your characters, allowing Wizard/Priest, Paladin/Thief, etc, combinations.
Hmmm...Maybe I'll just make a thread for this...If anyone's interested...
