Jeff sat in the passenger seat silently for a while. He turned to Yakov and watched him. Yakov knew what he was doing more so than he originally thought.

Yakov started the car and pulled out of the parking lot. "Welcome to my entire life."

Jeff watched Yakov as they drove. He'd never really thought about it like that. And he was starting to understand a feel a part of Yakovs life that he had never even known existed.

Yakov drove silently for awhile until he found a store. He pulled into the parking lot and turned to Jeff. "You don't like this do you...what they did?"

Jeff didn't take long to reply, "No. But it's not what you think. I'm not angry at them for turning him, from what I saw of Kyle he didn't look like he'd survive for more than a day at that. I'm upset because I feel like I could have stopped all of this from happening if I hadn't been wrapped up in myself and dealing with the power plays between Luka and I."
