Yaov smiled. "Good. I think, that Kyle is going to need you on his side on this one for awhile though. He really looks up to you and if he thinks he's upset you, this whole thing is gonna be even harder."

Jeff let out a deep breath. 'So much for the romancing.' "You're right, speaking of the poor kid, lets get him some fresh meat."

Yakove smiled. "Thank you." He kissed Jeff on the cheek and got out of the car.

Jeff followed him into the store. It didn't take them that long to buy out all the freshest meats from the butcher section. Jeff also insisted in getting some jerky and jugs of water for travel snacks if they had to rush off in an instant. Jeff just smiled at the cashier as she gocked at their selection of foods and the fact Jeff kept an arm around Yakov at all time.

Yakov was finding Jeff's constant presence very comforting. It had pretty much been hell lately and with Jeff right there, he knew at least one person was safe. As the last item got scanned he looked up at Jeff. "I don't want to go back and deal with this."

Jeff handed the clerk his cash and smiled at yakov. He was resisting the urge to say, 'forget them lets go ******** in the car for next six hours.' "I wish I could tell you we could run away. But We have a responsibility." Jeff pushed the cart out to the car and started unloading the stuff.

Jeff kissed Yakovs cheek before sliding into the passengers seat. "You are doing a great job at the moment dear. But when ever you are ready, I'm here for you."
