Marketa looked at Lily and felt her eyes widen. "Wow. You look beautiful!" she exclaimed.

"She does look beautiful. So, are you going with James, Lils?" Franki asked curiously, spinning slowly, inspecting herself in the mirror. She looked at her sarong, fiddling with it for no apparent reason.

Lily squeezed her eyes closed. "Yeah, I am. And I'm very nervous," she finsihed with a dramatic sigh. She rubbed her hands together. "I can't go down there. I'm just to scared he'll judge me, or something will go wrong." Lily turned to leave.

"NO! Don't give up that easily. He's crazy about you and it would kill me to see him depressed. He's to happy to be depressed. Can I tell you a secret? He only went out with me to make you jealous," Franki said, turning her eyes down and to the right embarrassedly, now fiddling with her bracelets.

Lily's eyes widened. It made her made that he would use Franki that way, but her heart warmed that he would try so hard. "Really?" Her voice was barely above a whisper.

Franki nodded embarrassed, upset that she had let herself be used without realizing it. "Luckily, Sirius told me this morning so now I'm going to the dance with him instead. And you get to go with James." Franki sat gracefully on her bed. She looked like a Gothic Angel in her dress that would probably never get worn again, but still, she wanted to look decent at the least.

Lily started to pace, nervous as hell. she ran her hand through her hair, unintentionally messing it up. She quickly grabbed a brush, and combed it thorugh.
Sirius dressed into his plain robes, looking stunning all the same. He turned in front of the mirror, smirking.

"Well, I'm out of here. I'll be in the common room. And if you can't find me there, look for Sirius, I'll be with him," Franki said, getting to her feet. She turned her head and smiled before disappearing down the stairs.

Lily wanted to call out to her, but something stopped her. Why call out for her, when she could easily go down with her? Lily quickly got up without a second thought, and headed down stairs, catching up with Franki. "Hey," Lily said, smiling behind her angst. As they descended, she lost her static cling to the dorm, and started to enjoy herself.

Lily looked around, wondering where James was. I hope he isn't late, she thought.
Sirius entered the Common Room, and spotter Franki leaning against the wall. "Why, you look charming," he said dramticly. He meant it. Franki looked as if she was glowing, smooth skin, beautiful eyes.

Sirius took Franki's am, and lead her to the portait. "You comin' Lily?" he called back.
Lily sat down, looking around. "Soon," she called back. Hopefully, she thought sullenly.

Franki smiled back at Lily and then turned, walking with Sirius. "So, have you called off your fan girls? My dad would kill me if I got hurt because of a boy, physically or mentally," she said. She was only half joking. He would definitely get mad that she got herself hurt at all, then he would hit her himself for running off for the year. Oh well, she thought, At least Sirius is taking me at all.
