Katrina opened the dor a crack and noticed it was Yakov. She opened it and ushered him in, she saw Jeff trying to catch up and held it open for him too. Though her eyes were wide as she caught the look on his face, half pain and half anger.

Jeff wiped his face blank of emotion before he entered the room and started puting the food in the fridge right away.

Katrina shook her head and brought herself back to reality. "Nothing's changed much since you left. He seems to be healing at a nice rate but the closest thing to consciousness we've gotten is some rambling." She put a hand on Kyles forhead and sighed. She couldn't help but feel something was wrong with Jeff. She turned and watched him put the food away, "Jeff...are you ok?"

Jeff slammed the fridge door shut. "Why does everyone keep asking me that?! I'm sorry I'm not the perfect person that everyone wants me to be." He spit out before stalked out of the room and back to the room he was staying in.

Katrina nodded. "You know, maybe he's dealing with survivor anxiety. Just be careful, it can lead to a lot of problems."

"Well," Katrina sighed, "I didn't want to mention it before, but look at the pattern this time. They turned Ally human, killed Jon, and tortured Kyle. Yeah they tortured Jeff but he's a were, as opposed to an 18 year old human. Jeff can survive pain. From what Jon told me, Jeff pretty much help raise Kyle. It's not surprising this is hitting him so hard."

Katrina thought about it for a while. "We saw the depressive episode before we left. He really didn't start with the anger until...until after we found Kyle...and thats after the tranq dart. Do you still have it?"

Katrina looked at Kyle then back to Yakov. "If they put something in the dart like a steroid or mood enhancer it should clear out in a day or two. But what the hell would that accomplish?"

Katrina sat there on the bed with everyone around and stroked Kyles hair as she thought about the new dilemma.

Jeff was pacing the room in a slight panic. Had he ruined everything already? They couldn't be smart enough to notice him yet? Or maybe he was too obvious. Maybe he was loosing time and just had to take what was his. He heard the knock and responded with a desperate tone, "What do you what?"

Jeff panicked. Should he change tactics or try to salvage the situation? He finally settled on half way. "Fine, whatever."
