Watase's blog recently stated that there will be no new Genbu Kaiden material until spring '09. She wants to focus on Sakura Gari and another new project.
Geez, woman. This is why she gets sick all the time. She overexherts herself on all these projects. She needs to stick to just Genbu Kaiden for a while and finish it faster if she's already getting sick of it. u_u

i love this manga and the thing i would love more was if it become an anime. Volume seven has to come out in english soon or i will cry.

volume 7 will be out in English on November 7th....i've subscribed to Shojo Beat, and it tells you the exact month all the new volumes of manga come out...i9t takes a while to realease Genbu Kaiden though...so don't expect volume 8 until AT THE EARLIEST April of 2009....because volume 6 came out in February...and it's taking 9 months for 7 to come out...but anyways~! it comes out in November~! *writes it down on calendar

I really don't think it will~
They still have to rescue Tegu, kill Rimudo's father, convince the emperor to cough up the universe of the four gods, and finally have Takiko shot by her father~

She really shouldn't take on so many tasks at once. yeah, i know what you mean...i hope Genbu Kaiden's finished soon though... yeah. I've read up to chapter 31 and I can hardly wait for more. Rimudo and Takiko are too cute together! :]

i've read up to that point too...i hate that cliffhanger!! even though i know they don't do anything, but still! it's fricking torture!!
and yeah, i guess you're right Hitokiri Hitaru...we've got a while i guess...that sucks...

naw...hair's too short....looks just like him though, huh?? his name's Souma, he's in that new series Watase-san's doing called "Sakura Gari". it has it's own forum topic in this guld....i hope it's released in English soon
does anyone know when the next chapters of Genbu Kaiden are comming out?? or has she taken the break after she did Chapter 31?? because i'm checking onemanga like everyday, and i get all emo when there's nothing new...

I seriously can't wait for the 7th tankoubon to come out....
I think I will read them 1st in OneManga, but still buy the English tankoubon... because I collect books... mrgreen
But, seriously... no new one until at least Spring 2009? OMG! That really sucks... Because I really love Fushigi Yugi, both the Mysterious Play & Genbu Kaiden....
