Angel took off just fast enough to slowly make her way ahead of the others. She had to make sure she didn't over do it though, incase it inflicted more damage on the wound. Glancing over her shoulder, she grinned at them as she waved.
"You're going to have to do better then that if you plan on beating me." She said sarcastically, as she continued towards the temple.

*Dameon's wings puled back and his speed increased enough that he could catch up with angel and slowly pass by her. He smilled and waved and he started to pull past her. He was being his old taunting playful self that hadn't been seen in a while.*

Ohh no you don't, she thought as she began to gain speed. There was no way she was going to loose so easily. She went into a dive so she was closer towards the covering of the trees. She then rolled in the air so her back was facing the ground. She looked up towards Dameon, as she formed a playfull smile on her face.
"Is that all you got?" She shouted, before flipping back over and diving completly into the covering of the trees.

*Dameon Grinned as she dived to the trees. He shook his head lightly*
"Not smart, have fun loosing speed while you dodge the trees kid."
*Dameon pull ups slightly getting slightly higher and higher as he went his speed forward still matching her's as he climbed He grinned as he looked down and could barel make her out in the trees.*
"Try catching up with this."
*He went into and angled dive his wings pulled back so so sleakly that he couldn't be more aerodynamic. His speed started to increase drastically out of the natural pull of gravity as he continued towards the temple.*

Angel had a childish grin on her face, as she looked up.
"I don't have to dodge." She shouted, as she flew at a tree head on. She wounded up passing right threw as if it was never there. She then looked up to see him gaining speed. She placed her hands flat against her side to make herself more areodynamic. She then felt a piercing pain, as she quickly glanced at her side. Blood was now starting to soak through the shirt that Dameon had tide around her waist to try and stop it. If she were to go to much faster, she would definetly open the wound even more.

*Dameon Hit hiself in the head. He felt stupid. Duh This WAS the person he was about to learn his powers from. And it WAS the spirit shard. He remembered passing through Necros' creature on accident.*
"Heh. No worry"
*As he continued to gain speed aimed striaght at the temple. He continued to watch angel, as he continued to gain speed still.*

Angel continued to go at a steady pace towards the temple. It wasn't to far now, she could make it out the outline of it through the trees. The pain on her side started to feel worse though. She might risk injuring it even more if she were to gain anymore speed. Glancing up, she noticed him slowly passing. She started to gain speed herself, but promised to stop if the pain in her side intensified.

*As Dameon's dive brought him level with the temple his wings spread slightly as he swung to a level fling position keeping the speed he had gained as he came to the last stretch to the temple.*

Angel sped up just a little more, as she came even with Dameon. She glanced over towards him, as she forced a smile onto her face.
"Almost there!" She said, as she looked back towards the temple. It wasn't to far now.

*Dameon Grinned, the final stretch. Now it was time to kick it up a notch. Dameon charged up energy within himself. He grinned as he pushed it out his feet and his speed jumped. He continued to fuel the boost as he closeod on the temple quickly.*

*Karatsu knew he couldn't beat either of them, after all this was his first time flying. So, he didn't really try, he followed at a steady but fast pace, doing loops, barrel rolls, anose dives, and such stunts. He enjoyed flying almost as much as having another tail regained.*

Angel started to slow down slightly when they got close to the temple. It was better if she didn't risk further injury, seeing how he was gaining speed still. If she wasn't injuried, she might of won. She then watched as Dameon made his way towards the temple.

*Dameon looked back as he got close to the temple. He saw her slowing down and slowed up himself so she could catch up. As he fell in next to her he looked a little concerned*
"You ok?"

"Yea im fine. Just went a little to fast that's all." She said, as she smiled reassuringly at him. She would defiently have to rest for awhile when they got back to the temple. Plus she still had to get someone to heal her side. Maybe Renn if she found him.
