"Oh, a fishing town, huh? Well, my mother made sure that I was properly brought up because I lived in Dublin. Oh fun, they wouldn't let me walk without being proper," Ian said. "Stand up straight, Ian, or you'll get a permenant slouch," he mimicked his mother's voice. He also started laughing.
"Are you being intentionally cruel to those girls?" Franki asked, breathless again. She smiled up at him, still swaying to the music, though she was very out of breath. Her gray eyes sparkled brilliantly.

"Not really. They just think it is." He looked at Franki, a huge smile forming on his lips.

"Well, I'll give you this much at least. It's not cruel to me," Franki said, a grin spreading across her face. She pulled Sirius into a hug while still swaying to the music. She knew that this was where she wanted to be, but didn't want him to think she was 'easy', but continued to hug him anyway.

Sirius got used to the swaying. It was almost like second nature. Sirius rested his head on top of Franki's, closing his eyes. The music changed a song about wanting the guy, but he was taken. So there girl puts a hex on the guy. Typical.

Franki laughed at the song's meaning. "Hey Sirius, you hungry?" Franki asked from his chest where she was now stuck.

Marketa wrinkled her nose at Ian. "I don't live in a fishing town. De town just smells like fish for some reason," she said with an enthusiastic gesticulation as she spoke. She looked out to the dance floor. "Isn't dat your friend? Miss Franki?" She pointed discreetly to Franki and Sirius, remembering it was impolite to point.

"Very," Sirius laughed. His feet were starting to ache from the hard floor and uncomfy shoes. Plus,, he hadn't gotten a chance to grab a bit of food from the house elves before. His tummy rumbled.

"Oh, forgive me," Ian said, slightly embarrassed. He looked over at who Marketa was gesturing towards. "Yeah, that's her alright. Always with the guys going after her. You know, she is the most goth person I know and yet she always has all the guys chasing after her," he said with a smile. He looked back at Marketa. "Of course, she can't compare with you in my eyes."
Franki smiled. "Come on, then. Let's get some food. I'm starving. All I've had today was breakfast with you and James, Acid Pops, and a butter beer. It's time to eat," she said. She pulled out of the hug but held on to Sirius' hands. She pulled him gently through the dancing people, trying to remember where their table was.

"She's very kind," Marketa remarked. "Dis is her dress, and dese are her shoes. She let me borrow dem." Her eyes wandered around to all the dancing couples as she shook her head and smiled lightly. "You shouldn't be judging de way I am in your eyes yet.... Ian, can I tell you someting? It's really, really private, and it's sort of...de reason I have no friends, and why boys don't like me, and why de udder girls in my dorm never spoke to me until today." She kept her eyes on her hands, playing idly with her finger.

Sirius let himself be pulled by franki. He was enjoying this blonde- black haired girl in front of him. He glanced side to side. "Have I told how beautiful you are tonight?" he complimented. He noticed franki seemed a bit lost. He guided her towards the middle table, pulling her chair out. He sat down gracefully, wanting to impress. He looked over his menu, deciding between the roast beef or the fried salmon. He decided with the beef. He was starving! He tapped the menu with his wand. The beef appeared before his eyes. He waited for Franki to decide on her choice before beginning.

Lily blushed slightly. She couldn't help but think of Severus. I wonder what he's doing, she thought. Her mind strayed back to the dormitories. There was his drawing, that beautiful drawing. She cast her eyes downward. Don't ruin the moment Lily! she scolded herself.

Ian's face turned serious. "What is it, Marketa?" he asked solemnly.
Franki smiled. "Thank you," she replied. She picked up her own menu and searched through her options. "Hm...." She tapped her wand on the menu and up came a lovely plate of Fettuccine Alfredo. "Bon appetite," she said, then waited for him to start.

Marketa stared anywhere but at Ian, her eyes now apprehensive. She mouthed the words "Yvonne'smydaughter" while looking away from him. The only sign that she had spoken was the sound of breath leavng her. Her hands were shaking. Even whispering the words were too much. If a Boggart could somehow depict this situation, this situation would be hers.

Sirius began on his Roast beef. It was tender, with just the right amount of gravy. He chewed slowly, savoring the flavor. He swallowed before asking, "So who was that guy who Lily brought to the tablle this morning?" Sirius was midly curious. It seemed as if they had met before.

James saw Lily's thoughtful gaze, and was curious. "What're you thinking about Lily?" he asked gently, not wanting to pull her from her thoughts too roughly.
