"Arynia is in ruins, lets find a place here, and i don't want to go back there right now. That place just has too many bad memories, and so many reasons why things are going so poorly for me." Sorrow took his hand and held onto it; "I should stop talking like this, my life is boring, i should probably thank you really, because I probably would be dead if you didn't step in. Thank You Kaos." Sorrow kissed him on the cheek.

"Well how about you walk and I'll fly beside you?" The idea was shot down as Yuma remember the cut on her wing quickly as she unfolded them. She bit her lip and folded them back in place. "On second thought, I'll try, but its longer then we traveled when you taught me."

Sorrow, concentrated, and the first couple steps she made with no trouble. She was still rather fearful of looking down and not seeing ground and her wings not moving. She closed her eyes a minute and then opened them to walk towards him the rest of the way.

Sorrow didn't say anything at first she just squeezed his hand really tight gritting her teeth. She really didn't want to ask, but it had been bugging her for awhile; "Why doesn't Akuma want us to be together, and what is to stop her from coming after me once you head back?"

Yuma jockied over for a spot on the bench placing an arm across his shoulders. "Well its not exactly like Tolly has been the perfect father either, he's busy most of the time teaching, or reading books he recently purchases. If you wanted attention you were better off being a student then a daughter to get face to face talking time. However one thing he was always pushing was that family should always take care of each other no matter how bad they hate each other at the time. No matter what Akuma does she cannot deny your her father, and like you said things will get better between you two.

You'll get to see more of Ailes in the future as you told me earlier, so its not like the damage done isn't reversible. You have unique chance to be a part of their lives still, so atonement is in sight for you, and I'll support you along the way in whatever capactiy i can do. You have a right to your own happiness as well, and I'll always love and support you."

(Worked on it for hours and this is it, truly pathetic i know)

Yuma nodded; "You wouldn't believe the stories seeing the way he acts now, but he was wild in his younger days. He was starting to wise up when he met my mother, and if the story is still accurate he married my mother in secret since she was a lighting demon. Their realtionship was strained and I was left with Tolly and never saw my mother after that."

Yuma frowned a bit; "However Merril may have cast a net of doubt on all of that."

Yuma remained sitting but tried her best to explain; "It starts long before our time in Arynia, Tolly started as a teacher, he only became active in seeking a position of power because his children being citizens of Arynia and more precisely Arias come under fire. I have no doubt that if all our kin up and left the lighting demons would have a sucessful revolution and the rules would change. Everything comes back to that old hate that has never been resolved, all the wrong people have tried to negoiate, and some of the demands are outrageous and vindictive."

Yuma shrugged; "The old king was beginning to sympathize with the way they were being treated, and made efforts to try and make amends. His health just took a downturn, and was unsuccessful to see it through. Isabella is perhaps too sympatheic, but she sees things from a childs point of view. Tolly will balance it out, but i see change coming soon once they have a real chance to sit down and exchange ideas. As for it being illegal to marry a lighting demon, its not, its just the way everyone else will treat you. Its not illegal for me to love you, and you return to being dead in three days. Not that it matters much really, because love always finds a way to work. I wouldn't be here if my father didn't love my mother to some degree."

Yuma fiddled with her hands; "You took a sword across your back because you didn't want me to get killed, and defied you daughter who is ruler of the abyss. So love always finds ways to work despite what other people think. i just wish people didn't get hurt in the process. "

"Probably wondering the same thing I did when you first suggested I learn it." Yuma stood up and took his hand. "Just how long before they go splat on the ground from a mistake."

Yuma looked at the few choices visible from where they were walking; "I dunno, I'm used to taverns that have rooms above them, and something like these are fancy and i wouldn't know which one to pick." Yuma just closed her eyes and pointed, and when she opened her eyes her finger was pointing nearest to a moderately appearing inn, that offered a heated bath, and full service tavern and lounge.

"Well, I guess that is where we are staying." Yuma snuggled into his side; "Besides isn't warm water good for relaxing and stress relief, or is that just another old wives tale?"
