Have it be one of the major ones. That way more than one agency will be interested in saving his neck.
Have 3 or 4 NPC Celestials lose theirs to the guillotine though...to appease the civilian amsses gathered to see the homicide biggrin
Here's what my nomination breakdown is
1.- Bunny Rabbit. - How many people will it shock to know their almighty healer was actually just a drity hobo Celestial trash? (not saying she is...just saying the Andel media would have a field day with that...hell I might even make a reporter character!)
2.- Deirdre. - And Duncan snaps when seeing her under the blade...
3.- Parafli. - I love aguyuno's violence filled posts. Putting him in a situation where he's got everything to lose could make it for a fun time indeed.
Of course I am ALL against killing any of these characters...but having them be part of a mass killing staged by the government could elevate them to Saviour status for all celestials. It's a difficult part to play but I think the three above have all it takes to handle it perfectly well for the sake of plot.
And let's face it...Only Samuel would grief had it been Luca being targeted...

I just bloody lost a damn good post to a crappy Internet connection... I so hate it when that happens. I forget sometimes, but usually, I write my stuff on notepad, then copy and paste it on.

Bloom_Wnd SUiZ is playing Duncan because I verified the idea. The lost sibling arc was too good to miss. Now, Thessaly would probably know Duncan. Considering Duncan's in custody, a perfect way I can see of entering the story would be for Thessaly to come rescue him.

Occupation: Sleeper agent (Chrest Secret Services)
General Appearance: Ailsean is of a nondescript height, an unnoticeable weight, and a build that doesn't even prompt a second glance. Both his eyes and his short, unassuming hair are bland and brown. However, he does have an unnaturally perfect set of teeth. His apparel is little more than a black office suit, occasionally covered by a dark green windbreaker.
General Personality: In a word-- disagreeable. He is always expecting trouble from those around him, and he was raised in a fairly negative household, instilling him with few positive emotions. Ailsean also views very few with respect, and most of them are quite despicable by usual moral standards. If you met him on the street, he would either A) ignore you completely, or B) punch you in the stomach, depending on his mood.
History (Required Reading): Ailsean was born to a noble family with secret ties to the Chrest organization. His parents, who loathe Celestials, pounded so much hate for them into the little boy, that when he discovered that he was one himself, he did all he could to hide it from them. After a few years of this fearful and disgusting existence, he developed the extremely sensitive ability of being able to "see" people's auras-- their life energy, and their "destiny." Because of this, he could always point out Celestials in a crowd, and thanks to his hidden talent, his parents gained a great deal of influence with Chrest. As time went on, he eventually came to hate Celestials with a passion-- especially himself. He decided that he would do whatever he could to rid the world of "abominations," as he calls them. When Ailsean was of age, his parents sent him to a Chrest training facility so that he could further advance the goals of the hidden organization. Six years ago he was released as a full agent, and now spends his time tracking down Celestials, monitoring their activities, noting their appearance, and creating a huge database which will eventually be used for undoubtedly nefarious purposes...

Name: Croccifixio "Crosse" (Croh-seh) L'arade
Age: 35
Race: Human
Organization: Chrest
Occupation: Head of Chrest
General Appearance: The first thing people notice about Crosse is his towering height. Measuring at 7"1, his medium build makes him look even more threatening to those who know who he is. He almost always dresses in dark suits which makes him resemble the 1920's Don's of the mafia. He is bald and likes it that way.
General Personality: He is a serious person. Extremely serious. He rarely ever cracks a smile, and nobody thinks he even knows the meaning of the word "hug" or the phrase "human warmth". He is used to doing things his way, and why not? Everything he's done has turned out fine. It seems he's got a manner of luck that's not about to change anytime soon.
History: His background is irrelevant. Or so he would like everyone to believe. Nothing that's happened before has any consequence in what he thinks now. As such, his history is purely in the present. He's the head of Chrest, and even though people think he despises Celestials, he only hunts them down as a means to a larger end...the magical barrier that sorrounds Andel. Power is in his agenda, not systematical Celestial killings. Of course that's not something he necessarily tells people. His agents and the people working underneath him work better when their sole incentive is to "Free the earth from the Celestial scourge". Doesn't make any difference to him. Machiavello was right, anyways, correct? Oddly so, Crosse employs some of the more volatile, tortured Celestials...those with nothing to lose and enough hatred burning up inside them for those of their own kind. He finds them to be the best agents seeing as they don't need any extra incentives anyways.
Funny being these Celestials......
