Noah hit the ground hard but quickly jumped up and took out his cutlass, he wouldn't be able to defeat the monster using physical combat. He would probably be able to cut it though.
He charged forward using Merry Pirate Slashes in hope to cut the beast, to at least draw blood from it so that he'd have a hope of winning. The sword cut through it just as it would any flesh, easily. This ogre may have been strong but no creature could really stand up to technology.
He continued to slice as much as he could, the creature powerless against the sharp blade that was piercing through it. In little to no time, it had been defeated.

Noah stepped over the creatures body walking on it as he made his way through the tree filled area of the grove. He saw a large area of fruits in sight, each one looked more extravagant than the next. He reached out for one, however before he could get it he felt something grab his leg, he looked back noticing the ogre, still lying down, had extended its large hand. Knowing it was greatly weakened Noah simply kicked it off. "******** you" he grunted as his kick connected causing the ogre to close its eyes, possibly becoming unconscious.
Noah then approached a fruit, one that was calling out to him in particular and touched it. It was cold and heavy, it didn't even appear to be that ripe, being hard as rock. He held on to it as he went back to his boat.

As soon as Sho advanced a large green vine sprouted from the ground and wrapped around his legs. Then more came from the ground each one trying to latch on to him. It was a large plant, its vines were underground and it was ready to feed. It was part of the grove itself and to get his fruit Sho would have to kill it or escape it.

 "So this is whats stopping me from "true" power....................do you expect me to fear your clutches?" Shō quickly reached inside his black coat pulling out a pistol than fiercely pointed the gun below him. He than used his 3 Bullet Combo to pierce the vines that latched onto his leg. The vines were easily pierced being cut, as soon as his legs were free the boy bent his knee's slightly than pushed off. Shō soared high into the air onto one tree which was quite surprising, he continued to glide through the air when he jumped off the first tree he landed on falling towards another area while looking behind him slightly, the plant was huge and most would run to safety. It was a shame that the plant had to find this kid, Shō was anything but a coward. He landed on a tall tree on one of the highest branches, he already had some branches covering up his location and even leafs. He than reached inside his black coat again taking out a scope than placed it on the top of his rifle. He placed his pistol behind his back attached to his belt than unpacked the rifle off his back now fully equip with the scope which made it a sniping rifle. "Large Plant Monster vs Shō Kanō-Suru, lets begin." Shō had his left eye that wasn't covered by his hair already looking through the scope, he was searching for any weak spots that might of been on the plant. He was also trying to find its face, I mean a clear shot to the face or any weak point always had enemies down. Shō saw everything as a challenge and refused to back down, if he ran away it was as if he shouldn't of been called a pirate to him. With good distance away from the plant at this point he crouched low in the tree waiting for the perfect opportunity to....shoot.

A huge mouth sprouted from the ground on which Sho was standing. It was so large that it swallowed all the rocks it hard broken as its way up to the surface. Sho would have to be quick to dodge this attack. He would also have to avoid the sea of vines that continued to sprout from the ground.

Shō's left eye quickly looked down, feeling the rumble was a good enough reason to change location even if he didn't see the mouth at this point. He bent low than jumped upward, the tree below him was engulfed by the rather large plant monster. While Shō was airborne pretty high at this point he looked through his scope already having the perfect lock-in. Shō used his Silent Scope Piercing Barrage which sent several piercing bullets down at the plants mouth. He had to see if the bullets would be able to pierce through not only the mouth, tongue, and what whatever was below him at this point but he also had to see if it was enough to kill the monster. Shō than took his eye from out the scope seeing the many vines that were already high up with him. He began to drop, it would seem like the vines were all going to catch up to him, when the closest vine was about to grab onto him he blocked the grab than slid down the vine as if he was trying to grind vertically down towards the plant. On his way down he continued to shoot off bullets at the mouth of the beast hoping to hit a weak spot in the process. Sliding down the one vine was enough to lose the other vines even though he never really took his attention off his entire perimeter, nothing was going to sneak up to this boy he couldn't die now. He had a blank expression across his face, no fear was seen across that emotionless gaze coming from his face as he fought with such passion.

Having been shot several times in the mouth the creature crept back into the earth, defeated. Sho had been able to overcome one of the many beasts on the island and so he was allowed to take a fruit.

Shō landed next to the large whole the plant monster's mouth came from. Turning his back to the area behind him with a blank expression across his face like nothing just happened he than took the scope off his rifle. Once the scope was off the rifle he placed it inside his black coat, in one of the inner compartments of the coat. The boy than strapped his rifle onto his back than reached behind him at his lower back to take the pistol that was strapped to his belt from the battle placing it inside his black coat as well. Sighing slightly he lifted his left eyebrow wondering where these fruits were. He than saw a large area of fruits in sight, each one looked more extraordinary then the next. He reached out for one taking it than claming it as his before he actually started to run back to his boat. Once he would be in his boat he would paddle as hard and fast away from the island so he could eat this. "This Fruit doesn't have a scent, ehhh it would be a drag if instead of giving me power it killed me, Mmm."

Ryoko took her boat and sailed across the sea to the legendary Bliss Grove in search of a devil fruit. The water was eeriely calm as she sailed over to the strange mysterious island jumping off her boat and dragging it onto land so she would have a way off the island later. She looked around the outskirts of the jungle makings of the land pulling her sniper rifle infront of her then began to walk into the jungle not knowing what dangers awaited her.

The jungle was eerily quiet. Though there was something there, it wasn't obvious at first but the silence gave away the presence of something lurking in the shadowy depth's of the jungle. Then, if you listened for a mere moment you could hear the break of a stick. Something to Ryoko's left, then again -- something to right. Either it was fast, or there was more than one.
Then ahead of her, something stepped out. It was tall, vicious looking. A single Velociraptor. At least, that's what it seemed. That could be cake -- but what about the two other noises? Was this a lone raptor, or was there more? The raptor ahead of her advanced, prepared to pounce on her. It was fast, and was coming straight for her aiming for the kill.

Ryoko heard a sound in the bush nearby and saw a single raptor pop out and aim and attack at her. "Damn." She said to herself then flipped her giant sniper rifle over jumping back and taking quick aim at the charging raptor. "Try a 3 Bullet Combo b*****d!" She yelled out shooting three consecutive shots at the raptor. One bullet aimed for the chest and two at it's head. If this didn't work, she was ready to try a different strategy.

All three hit, and sent the large dinosaur falling to the ground. However, it seemed to easy. Why would this large raptor go down so quickly, without a tremendous fight.
That's when it could be heard, tiny squeaking noises, and the sound of leaves, and sticks breaking. The blood must have alerted others to the presence of the intruder in their grove.
The squeaking got louder, and it was surrounding her. Then she could see them, not far away. Smaller, faster versions of the larger dinosaur she had just killed. She'd need to be quick, if she wanted to get past these runts.

Ryoko froze when she saw the raptor go down and was happy for a second thinking that she was the good but then she heard a small squeeking noise then saw them. "No way." She aimed her rifle back towards the raptors corpse and towards the smaller dinosaurs. "Bullet Barrage!" She cocked her gun and fired a barrage of a hundred bullets at the tiny dino's knowing that she would hit something, hopefully killing all of them, in the wave of gunfire. After she unloaded, she pulled her empty clip out and threw it to the side reaching in her bag for another clip before anything else could happen.
