"There's more?" she groaned. Shipwright or not, she was apparently going to be a fighter too. She honestly didn't even care about the Navy, much less being 'forced' into helping pirates repair their ship. She was just here for the cash. As long as she wasn't stuck on that sand-trap island. Her life seemed rather meaningless half the time nowadays anyway. C.C. sigh, turning her bright yellow eyes to the jovial Koby.
"Of course! The discipline punch is a quick hard punch that'll knock just about anyone out if you do it right! Alright, now try it out on that wall over there!" Koby motioned to a single brick wall in the hot sun. C.C. frowned.

The lazy shipwright girl slowly made her way over to the wall and stared at it for a moment. Why was she punching a wall? She'd rather punch Koby at this point. Annoying sexually confused pink-haired officer. She was a shipwright, not a fighter, she grumbled mentally again. Koby waited silently for her to attempt something, crossing his arms. The more C.C. thought about Koby, the more irritated she got. The sun wasn't helping much either. It was just like back home, what was she saying!? That place wasn't her home! It was a trap! C.C. clenched her first, and ground her teeth. How could she have even thought something like that!?

"Try it!" Koby commanded. That was the final straw for C.C. With a growl, C.C. threw her clenched first at the brick wall, her knuckles and the wall making an audible contact. At first, it seemed like nothing really happened, and C.C. slowly pulled back her arm. As she pulled away, she saw a small crack in the wall. Had she done that? Well of course, she did have massive arm strength after all. C.C. smiled at her work, and turned around, giving a thumbs up to Koby, who smiled at her and clapped. It took a moment before C.C.'s hand started hurting, and she winced, shaking out the hand and moving back over to Koby.

"Nice job" Koby retorted with a small high five. C.C. winced. That hurt unnecessarily. He'd done that on purpose.
"Remind me not to do that again." she grumbled, shaking out her hand some more. Koby laughed cheerfully, accompanied by C.C.'s groans. Koby wasn't so bad, C.C. just wasn't in a good mood with the sun shining so brightly. It always reminded her of home, and she hated that sand pit. C.C. massaged her hand tenderly while Koby thought about what to do next.

"Of course, of course." Koby smiled, thinking of the next exercise. He'd done this a thousand times, and yet he always had to think about what to do next.
"Right then, now we're going to have a little race." he smiled deviously. C.C. looked at her trainer incredulously. What was that little pink-haired idget thinking up next? She wasn't good at reading people. She was more of a, apathetic sort of girl. She'd never met an interesting person, save maybe her mentor. What would he have said if he'd seen her now? Probably nothing, C.C. mused.

"We're going to go around the base and meet back around here at that tree!" Koby pointed off in the middle of the training grounds where a strange tree stood tall. C.C. looked at the tree for a moment. An interesting sight. How hadn't she ever noticed that before again? Whatever, it didn't matter.
"Ready, Go!" Koby commanded, taking off in a northward direction. C.C. blinked a few moments before she jumped and started chasing after him.
"Hey, no fair! I wasn't ready!" she yelled after him, using all of her muscles to get her caught up to the pink-haired sprinter.

"You should have been!" Koby called back, looking over his shoulder. He was surprised to see C.C. catching up so quickly. He smiled deviously again, using his own Quick Pace to further his lead. C.C. blinked a few times. How was he going that fast!? Jeez, at this rate she wasn't going to caught up to him. Ah, no! She would! No pink-haired BOY, was going to beat her in a race. C.C. took deeper breaths, and closed her eyes, listening to the sound of their thudding footsteps. Powering herself forward, she opened her eyes with renewed vigor, quickly closing in the space between the two.

Cindy walked through the marine base feeling ashamed and rejected. Her arm was heavily bandaged up and she could barely feel it. Her coat was tattered and bloodstains cover her entire coat. She was currently going to talk to the higher ups, as they had heard about the incident in the East Blue and wished to talk to her about it. Slowly she made her way up the stairs up to see them. She was sure that they would have her badge for this and that she would receive dishonorable discharge.

She soon found herself as the doors and sighed lightly saying “Here goes nothing...” and with that she pushed open the massive doors only to see the council sitting before. She stood at attention and the man in the front simpy told her to go at ease. “Cindy Campbell, we have reports saying that you had sucessfully aprehended the infamous Noah Manette only to have him escape due to his crew mate dispatch you. Is this all true?” Cindy simply lowered her head in shame and said “Yes...it's all true”

The room was silent for a good while after that. It was so quiet that you would probably be able to hear a pin drop in the room. Then from the main man which was dead center of everyone came a few claps and then a “Bravo!” Cindy looked up in disbelief as the room broke into applause. “Never did we think that a mere Captain would be able to dance with Noah Manette and beat him. We would have had the slimey bastards in our grip if it wasn't for his crew mate.” Cindy was very confused by the entire thing but didn't question it.

“We have given the matter great thought and we have decided that you are well on your way to success, congradulations, you are now a Vice Admiral!” Cindy practically fainted right then and there. In such a short amount of time she had managed to achieve all of this greatness. This was just the beginning too, she wasn't too far odd from becoming a member of the World government, and handling crimes on a more international level! Cindy bowed her head low and then said “Thank you very much, I promise I will not disappoint.”

Cindy walked out of that room with a smile on her face from ear to ear, it felt like she was practically flying, which to her surprise she soon was as a man picked her up and then hollered in laughter “DERASHISHISHISHI!” It was Vice Admiral Saul and Cindy was quite happy to see him as his giant traits always made her happy. “Hello Saul, I take it that you've heard of my promotion? Either that or you just felt like picking me up.” Sault simply laughed some more with his usual happy luggish laugh.

“Oh Cindy, I'm so glad you're a Vice Admrial now, imagine all the journeys we can go on, we're now supieors!” Cindy simply chuckled some saying “Oh Saul, it will be fun. But for now I've got to go...I have a lot to do. And please be careful, I don't think you know your own strength sometimes.” Saul simply chuckled some saying “Sorry Cindy, sometimes I tend to lose myself in joy.” Cindy had a good laugh herself saying “Think nothing of it Saul, well anyways, good bye for now!” And with that Cindy left for the port.

Arriving at the Navy Training Grounds, Ral stood as he looked around the area and take in the new environment. It was then that a hand was gently placed onto his shoulder. Ral turned his head back to find a ping haired young man, who was probably a bit older than he was, looking at him with a big smile upon his face. "So you're one of the new recruits, I'm Koby". Ral quickly turned towards Koby, quickly raising his hand to give him a salute before then extending his hand out. "I'm Ral, pleasure to meet you Koby-senpai." Koby in turn reached his hand out to give Ral a firm handshake to greet his new Kouhai.

After shaking Ral's hand, Koby folded his arms as he began to speak, still smiling at the excitement of meeting a new recruit. He enjoyed giving guidance to those who still of low rank. "As your senpai, I'll teach you a few things. The first thing I will teach you is something that lies within all people in the Navy." A bit puzzled by Koby's words, a confused Ral began to scratch his head as he tried to figure out what Koby was trying to teach him. "Something that lies within everyone in the Navy? Just what exactly do you mean, I'm not sure if I follow what you're saying?"

Koby chuckled a bit, it seemed like he would have to try to explain things in a way for Ral to understand. The conversation he was having now seemed very nostalgic to him, for he had once gone through the exact same thing. "To put is so that you understand, what I'm asking you is your reason for being in the Navy. What drives you?" Ral threw his hand behind his head while looking upwards as he began to ponder the answer to the question. It was one that he had never bothered to ask himself. ".....What drives me?" Koby waited for a response as he replied to Ral. "There has to be a reason for you joining the Navy."

A few moments had passed as Ral was still in thought. His face suddenly lit up, finally coming up with an answer to Koby's previous question. He let out a snicker as clenched his fist tightly and held it out, looking towards Koby with eyes of great determination. "I want to uphold order throughout all of the seas, though out all of the world. I want become strong to enforce justice and deliver punishment to those that oppose." Koby grinned as he nodded in approval to Ral's reply. "That is the Navy Will that lies within us all. There is no doubt that you too posses it."

Taro waked back to the traininig grounds looking around for Aokiji so he could learn his final technique and finally spotted him lying next to a rock sleeping and walked over to him. He looked down at him with an expression of laziness on his face. "Aokiji-sensei...Im ready to learn your last move." Aokiji yawned a little and sat up looking at Taro. "Ayayayay, ok. Ok." He got to his feet brushing some dirt off of his pants and started walking down towards the main gate signaling Taro to follow.

While they were walking, Aokiji stopped abruptly and started to spek back to Taro. "So you think you got the handle of the Chill Chill Fruit, Huh?" Taro smiled slightly and turned the right half of his body into ice then back into flesh. "Yup. I can turn into ice, freeze objects, and create ice out of nothing." He said bragging slightly and looked at Aojiki's back waiting for a responce. "I see, I see. Well ok then. Let's see if you can learn my most powerful ice technique then, Ay?"

Aokiji started walking again and Taro followed and they reached the Marine HQ main gates walking out of the main grounds and back to teh beach side. Aokiji stopped on the beach and sat down crossign his legs and looking up at Taro slightly. "Ok. The move is called Ice Age. In short, it's a bigger and more powerful version of Flash Freeze." Taro's eyes perked up a bit and he looked around. "Cool. So why are we at the beach? Is learning this gonna be so easy that I can sleep while doing it?"

Aokiji smiled slightly and leaned over resting his head on his hand whith his elbow in the sand and looked over to the water. "Ahhh, I wish. Ice Age freezes the area around you making a...new ice age for a while. Alright now. Go over to teh water and put your hand in." Taro did as Aokiji said and walked over to the edge of the water placing his hand into the shallow end. "Now what?" Aokiji spoke out to him and said "Make the water cooler." Taro shrugged slightly and froze his hand making the water around it colder.

"Easy. Can I take a break now?" Taro said and Aokiji replied. "Not yet. Now make the water even colder. Hmmm, make a slight sheet of frost on the water." Aokiji said sitting up again and Taro looked back to his hand in the water and spread his ice and cold throughout his arm chilling the water under and over the surface in a matter of seconds and eventually creating a soft layer of frost and snow over the area of water around his hand. He looked back to Aokiji for more instructions.

Aokiji looked over at the water that he frosted and stood up walking over to his side. "Now freeze the water." He said in a blunt tone and Taro was confident that he could do that since he already could create a layer of snow on the water and put more cold into his arm slowly freezing all the water near him in about a minute then pulled his iced over hand out of the slightly iced water smiling.

Taro looked at Aokiji for approval but he just stood there looking at the area of ice and then lifted up his foot and kicked the ice shattering it all easily then looked at Taro. "That was weak ice. Ice Age requires more dence ice or it will just break under someone's feet like a toothpick." Taro nodded and turned back to the water and puth his hand back into the shallowend of the water to try again. "Ok. So it's not just about ice, its about how much ice and how thick the ice is. Got it." He said in a noraml tone.

Aokiji looked down at Taro as he was about to try and freeze over the water again. "Ay. In a fight, your opponent wont give you time to slowly develop ice everywhere so you have to focus and make all the ice at once and make it strong." Taro took a huff to all the things he had to remember and do but closed his eyes and focused on making the ice taking calming breaths and collecting most of his ice powers into his arm that was in the water thinking about making a strong layer of ice quickly.

After afew seconds of focusing on making the right amount and type of ice, Taro opened his eyes and released his bided frost into the water freezing a large portion of it in a matter of seconds covering it in a sturdy layer of ice that was slightyl stronger than the ice he made on his first attempt. He tooka breath after making all that ice at once then turned and looked up to Aokiji smiling. "Well Aokiji-sensei. Pretty good huh?" Taro said arrogantly and Aokiji looked at the ice he generated.

Aokiji stood there and looked at teh ice for afew seconds then took one step over to it and raised his foot dropping his foot onto it with a slight thud and shook the ice. The ice than began to crack and soon seperate and sink inot the water. "Close. You need to spread more ice and make even more ice. I think you can do it." Taro looked at the ground catching his breath a little and wondering if could really pull of this technique but put his hand back into teh water determined to pull this move off.

Taro closed his eyes and took a soft breath as he started to focus on freezing the water quick, far, and thick. The ice needs to be more colder. Need to freeze everything in the water and on the water, dropping the temperature below freezing. His hand became colder super chilling the water as he bided his energy in his entire body building up the cold to freeze the water. Make it...colder...colder...freezing everything and anything. Taro's body chilled over as he gathered power.

Taro suddenly opened his eyes and released all his collected cold power at once into the waterfreezing everything under and on teh surface of it in an instant for as afr as the eye could see and he sat there for a moment then pulled his hand out of teh ice taking a breach and sitting down looking at teh ice. Aokiji looked at eh ice and stomped on it once with a thud and this time, the ice stood strong not even cracking in the least under his kicks pressure and he looked over to Taro.

"Good job Taro. That's a perfect Ice Age. As you can tell, using it is kind of tiring so I reccomend only doing it once in a fight ever and is is extremely effective." Taro looked over to Aokiji and asked him a question. "Am I done now Aokiji- sensei?" Aokiji then sat down next to Taro and looked out to the ice covered sea. "Yup. All this teaching made me tired so, excuse me." He lied down adn closed his eyes pulling his eye cover over his eyes and went to sleep. Taro smiled and got to his feet and walked off with a new powerful move.

Throwing his hands behind his head once again, Ral looked towards Koby with a look of excitement in his eyes. "Is there anything else that you can teach me senpai?" Koby raised his hand to his chin as he began to think for a moment. After a few moments, he turned to his side and called over a man in a Navy uniform to come over. Next, Koby turned his attention back towards Ral as the man walked a few feet away from him and took a fighting stance with his fists up in a boxing posture. Koby then began to speak as he stood between Ral and the man. "We'll begin the next part of your training. I'll teach you a technique for combat."

Ral looked towards the man, confused as to what Koby was about to teach him. The man appeared to be of a higher rank than him and probably possessed more experience than Ral did. Though still not sure about the situation, Ral too got into a similar fighting stance as the man that mirrored that of a boxer. "Just what am I supposed to learn here?" Koby snickered, as he folded his hands. He gave the man a nod, which the man soon returned with a nod of his own as he began to slide his feet along the ground to spread his feet further apart. "You're about to learn the Discipline Punch." As Koby had said this, the man instantly rushed forward towards Ral, throwing his clenched right fist forward towards Ral's face. The fist came at a surprisingly fast speed, ultimately putting more power into his blow.
