"It's a shame for you that your first opponent will be me." Rake exploded with a dash towards the girl. With the help of his jet dials he would increase his speed and also his reach while jumping. "b*****d Style: b*****d Kick!" He hoped that he would be able to hit the girl and send her to the ground. With the jet dials he could increase his range while doing this kick, without releasing his sword.
((I'll be going to bed now as it is 4 am and I'm a bit sick. Yet I'll be back tomorrow for the same hours.))

Kaien pulled Himself onto the Pier and in a quick flick of His wrist sent the whip around Rake's leg holding it back.
"It's too bad that you pick fights with the weak and proclaim your own self strong.................."
Kaien grinned behind the Hair now covering His eyes.
"Because You aren't."

Her body tensed up as she attempted to avoid the attack. She took a couple of steps back and knew that it was too late. "Crap!" at that moment of time, she saw a whip come out of no where that stopped Rake's attack. She looked over to see that Kaien had come to her aid. She quickly ran over toward where Rake was and smiled. "Thanks." She began to whisper, "Now what do we do? We can't win this match...should we run?"
((It's four in the morning where you live?! I wouldn't be online at such a late hour. xD Maybe cause I enjoy sleeping...x3 ))

Kaien loosed the whip and pulled it back staring at Rake confidently.

Tsuki began to whisper loudly, "Are you crazy?! We don't stand up to this guy! We need to either apoligize or make a run for it. I don't plan on dying in this fight..."

Tsuki thought for a moment before nodding. "Alright then" She handed him his katar back as she looked around. "I'm going to get a couple of things from the weaponry...don't die till I get back." She began to run toward the store.

Kaien put His Katar away and faced Rake.

((First of: That's auto-hitting. Second of: A whip would just go through his body. Mera mera no mi is a logia type fruit. Also your character is based of your stats. If a stat is 50% of mine I'm twice as fast, accurate or what ever. The higher my stat are and lower yours are the bigger the difference of skill obviously. Remember your characters limits.))
"You intend to die then! Shame!" Rake begun to run straight towards Kaien with his blade ready. "b*****d Style: b*****d Slicer!" The razor sharp blade begun to spun around in the hands of Rake as he came running with great speed and accuracy and he planned to slice Kaien up all over him. Kaien was weak and slow, what could he do?

((Auto Hit??? As I see it I did no damage to You whatsoever and nor did I in any way restrain You I merely stopped Your attack and if You became 'fire' entirely You would burn the pier and would risk drowning.))
Kaien fell backwards off the Pier purposefully and landed in the water with a large splash.
((And I never said that Kaien wasn't on the edge.))

((You typed a hit and that's an auto hit no matter what you intended with the attack. Also not the entire body but only the area where you hit. Also my character controls fire. If he doesn't want the pier on fire, assuming it is of wood and not stone, it won't be set on fire.))
The boy fell back into the water and Rake looked down into the sea. How long could the boy be in water. How much stamina could he have to keep under water. There would be no time to actually breath. The moment he popped up he would be sent down in flames. Swimming under water for a long time with little breaks could be hell for the lungs.

((She would have typed in if the attack hit or not. A good role player knows when your character can't dodge it. So if you block all of my attacks even though your stats is so much lower then mine a mod might tell you that you're on the level of breaking rules. This is just a heads up, you should check up on your update post. I noticed that Reckage told you a few things.))
The moment the boy came to the surface. It was easy to see for the water is firstly quite clear and the lad would be seen before surface. A second heat fist was sent into the water in trying to burn the kids head just as he came for air.
