She smiled slightly. "I wasn't saying that you weren't trustworthy, I just… well, truthfully, I don't know what I was saying. This is all so new and confusing. I've always had someone to guide me. And always there were other Hippogryphs around." She gazed into the twilight. "This is all so... confusing."

Her eyes widened in surprise. "We were the only two. You don't think we're all there is… no, we can't be… there can't… there has to be others…" there was a hint of panic in her voice.
