Achlys raised her head, turning to the direction of an angered voice. "Ah. If it isn't Amilia Thorn, leader of the shapeshifters? I'd know your face anywhere." she said. Her eyes narrowed as the insignificant creature ordered her out of the forest. "And why should I? You can't even stop me. I will kill every creature in this forest, and there is nothing you can do about it." she hissed.

Kyle stayed back, holding the elven boy. But his rage was beginning to grow. This was the woman who killed his father, and she was sitting here badmouthing the mythical creatures, his adopted family. He didn't know how much longer he could go without going into beserk mode.



Nychta smiled, mounting one of the horses. "Well, this will do. I don't mind running, but I don't mind riding, either." she replied.

[[It can be. Really Achlys is supposed to be at a Northern encampment, not the main camp. But we could make things more interesting... =-] ]]



Achlys raised her sword and placed her other hand behind it, the girl's blade scraping across hers. She began to frown, looking up at the growing storm clouds in the sky. "You look human, and yet you have these strange powers and defend the mythicals." her eyes narrowed. "Who are you?"

Kyle carefully pulled Willy away, sitting him next to the elven boy. "Get out of here, now! Go back to the council and warn them!" he ordered, his voice becoming deeper and rougher.

Willy and the elf nodded quickly, scrambling away while clinging to each other out of fear.

Achlys paused. "Very well, then. You're name is unimportant, anyhow. You'll be-Agh!" she stumbled back, placing her hand in front of her head. The shapeshifter's jaws still closed around her skull, but her arm now stuck in its mouth prevented her from breaking anything. She struggled with the wolf for several minutes before she heard a familiar voice. The next thing she knew, the wolf was on the other end of the encampment. "Ruby and Nychta...this will make things a bit more interesting..."

Nychta shook her head, stretching her arms out. "No, no, not at all. Well, they bother me somewhat, but it beats our normal soldiers." she said. As her fellow Exalguard member asked her to join in, she grinned, twirling her staff. She slammed it on the ground, and blades extended from each side. "Gladly."

Kyle quickly sprinted around the Exalguard's leader, rushing towards Amilia. His eyes were no longer gold, now a blood-red, and he lifted the boulder off of her with little effort. "Hey, Amilia! You okay?"

Kyle dove for the elf, holding the boy tightly and bracing for the impact of the rocks. But it never came. He looked up, seeing that Yuki had used the wind to drive the projectiles away. He stood, nodding to her. "Thanks..." he muttered.

Nychta smiled at Ruby, raising her staff. However, when the hero threatened to kill them, she laughed. "And how do you plan on doing that? You don't know how many have tried to stop us and failed." she threatened.

Achlys slowly walked up behind Yuki, clutching her sword tightly. "I don't like killing humans, girl. But I will if I have to. Just make it easy on all of us and give up. You and the boy over there will be spared, rest assured." she offered, motioning to Kyle.
