Alice talked as she wrote things down. " 'Kay so number of copy's: 36. Library print and good! So I guess I'll go get it." As soon as she hit okay she started to move back her set.

Fiore gasped and rubbed her face angrily.

"It's nothing really," she hiccupped, using her sleeve to wipe away the salty liquid. "M-my parents are buisness people you see... and this morning I recieved a text saying that they had to stay abroad for a longer period of time than expected."

She hiccupped again and shook her hair out of her face.

"What's stupid is that they promised to come home for my birthday this year..." she mumbled, fresh tears running down her pale skin. "That's why I..."

Daimon's attention was turned towards Fiore when she asked if she was going to die. He had never heard a student ask such a qeustion and worried about her health condition. He watched her and listened, hearing that her birthday hadn't passed yet. "When it your birthday ?" He asked as feeling like it was his duty to care for a child that had no family or atleast family members that ditched their child for business.

"My birthday is this coming Saturday; I'll be fifteen. They're always away on buisness and never have time for me or my older sister. She went to college abroad last year, leaving me alone. My parents have connections to the Headmaster which is why I'm here," Fiore sniffled, wiping at her face again.

"They don't know what goes on when they're gone. I almost died once and they didn't do a thing about it, just brushed it off as an accident!" she whined, her voice rising a few octaves.

"It's their fault that I'm like this!!" she shrieked, not caring about the library's rule of 'keep quiet', and burying her face in her hands and sobbing uncontrollably.

Fiore clung to Daimon and sobbed into his shirt. The last time she had been comforted like this... well, she had been so young that she hardly remembered it now. Was it her mother comforting her? Or her sister, the one she hated so much?

When she had calmed down enough to speak without blubbering, she pulled away a bit and wiped her face.

"Do you mind if I stay here for a while?" she inquired softly so her voice wouldn't crack embarrassingly, a light blush dusting her cheeks.

Fiore felt a shaky smile worm its way across her face. She drank heartily from the bottle of water she had been given when she came to; she had cried quite a bit in the past few minutes and needed to replenish the lost liquids.

She gazed around the library absently, twisting the bottle's cap on and off. A cursory glance out the window told her of the time. It was late now; she had been unconscious for quite a while if the sky was tinted orange by the setting sun. She un did the ribbon tying back her hair and let it fall around her face and shoulders.

"Do you need any help?" she asked after watching Daimon check books in and out for a few minutes, instantly blushing from her surprising offer. It wasn't like her to act this way.

Fiore glanced around, her eyes falling on a pair of Night Class students.

"Geez, is it some class requirement that Night class kids be insanely pretty? No wonder the other girls in my class are gaga over the Night Class guys..." she muttered aloud. As if on some special cue, quite a few Day Class girls ran squealing from the library.

With a light chuckle, Daimon then watched as the Day Class students left from the Library and turned his attention towards Ruka and Fiore. A sigh was let out when he saw Ruka asleep. "The Night Class are very interesting, but I don't have much interest in them." He said as he smiled at Fiore. He looked over at 2 Night Class students over at the computers, doing something. "Do you have interest in some of the Night Class students ?" He asked, jokingly. He just wanted to tease her abit to she that he was a fun loving guy.
