I just...feel more comfortable around her. I know how she reacts to things, and I know how she feels and what she wants. It's hard for me to read you, Lex. We live in two completely different worlds and have two different mindsets. If I were to try and date you, I'm scared I'd hurt more than help. Jezze's whole friendship with Lexi had been something of unconventional portions. She was the first real friend that Lexi had since the eighth grade, and it didn't matter that Lexine was different. Now she was tell Lexi a story completely opposite from what she thought she knew... Before Jezzebel didn't seemed to care that Lexi was different, yet somehow it was the reason that she couldn't like her like she liked Casey. The tears wouldn't stop. "I.. don't understand..."She mumbled back to the brunette looking hopelessly up at her before she started to talk about how much she cared about her. The picture she was painting was all wrong... Jezzebel grunted as she was shoved away. As she listened to Lexi speak, she grew more hurt. Why did she think she was lying? And what was she talking about, Casey didn't want her until Lexi did? But, at the same time, she understood Casey's confusion. Jezzebel was complicated when it came to relationships. She usually didn't have them because of it, but with Casey being in love with her and all, it was hard. God, it was so hard dealing with feelings like that.
"I'm sorry," she told the girl softly. "I'm so sorry... Genuinely. I don't...want to hurt you, but it seems like I do no matter what I'm doing, and I'm sorry. I really just... I don't know what to do with myself anymore," she told her, trying to at least make her understand that she was legitimately apologetic for the pain she had caused Lexi. "And...if you want to go make your own decisions, so be it. It's your life to live how you see fit, and me or your parents or anyone should try to control it. I'm just being stupid. I just...don't want you to get hurt anymore than I've already done. Go on and have your one-night fling with Lauren, and I hope it works out well for you, even if I have my doubts that it will. You never know. People change. She might have for all I know," she told her, backing off. "Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you if you ever need it, okay? Just... I'm sorry for dragging you into all my mess," she finished before taking a deep breath and turning away from Lexi, forcing a grin onto her face as she skipped out onto the stage, snatching the mic from Bryan's hands.
"Alright! I'm back, guys!" she screamed into the mic a little too cheerfully and took her guitar back from Sapphyre, the bassist getting his instrument back as well. "You wanna hear me sing again? What a stupid ******** question! Of course you do!" she said, trying to get herself pumped up again. It wasn't working, so she pushed herself on. "Let me tell you, this song's...Killer," she said with a laugh at the end of her statement before the band began playing music. It was funny, because this song seemed to fit her situation so well.

Sapphyre was worried about Jezzebel the whole time she was backstage with Lexibut he was so focused on Bryan's voice that it was hard to focus on his worries.
As soon as the woman came back on stage, though, he knew immediately something was up. That smile was so fake, that he was sure even Casey would realize it. And when she mentioned that they were going to be singing "Killer," he was positive. That was Jezze's go-to song when something was wrong with her. He would have to ask her about it after the show if someone else didn't get to it first. For now, though, he stuck to singing the back-up parts of the song with Casey, glancing over at the blond as they played.
