Lemon, lime, and grape colored tail feathers twitched under Nola's paws. Nuri had recognized the tension in her, but was not used to playing. It had been a while. But her tiny roar and lunge forced a laugh out of him. His tail wiggled free and slid a small distance away from Nola, well within pouncing range.

Ling nodded to the female and sighed. "I wil not pry into your personal affairs, so long as they do not and will not effect my pride. I will not have trouble made here, is that understandable?" He moved away from her, moving slowing in the direction of his cave. It wasn't really walking, more side stepping as he lead her back.

Nola giggled and then got ready again. This pounce was a bit higher then before and she landed on the middle of his tail before batting at the feathers at the end. Her eyes glowed playfully as she got to have some fun.

She nodded. "If trouble comes, I'll immediately leave the pride." She followed him slowly, her flaked tail waving behind her. Her steps were light as she gave a small chuff. "Thank you...King Ling for accepting me.

Nuri crouched down low to watch Nola as she sat on his tail and batted at the feathers at its tip. "You clever girl," he chuckled, waving his tail-tip back and forth. It was not going to give up without a fight!

"I do think I would be a fool not to accept you...Beside...I have a use for you.." He smiled and moved into the cave. He chuckled at Nola and Nuri as they played and then looked to the other kittens that were scattered about the cave floor. "I have no skill with these kittens...nor do I really want to try...you see..?" he looked over his shoulder at her.

The kit tried to hold the feathers still with one paw at a time but when that failed misrably she watched the sway of them before ultamently catching them in her mouth. Her bite wasn't as hard as you would think. Almost as if she knew better then to bite hard on a tail already. With her prize in her mouth she turn her eyes to Nuri and grinned with his tail behind her teeth very proud indeed.

She noticed the kittens and gave a small gasp. "Oh..." She absently moved forward toward one of them and slowly lowered her nose. "Hi there..." She murmured softly and began to purr. She lifted her left forepaw and slowly began to play with the cub.

Ling watched her play with the kitten for awhile before moving to the back of the cave. He had taken the time to survey his land while out checking on Leanna, and now he got a chnce to rest. "Nuri..tired her out and we won't have anyone to do work..." He kidded the little kitten as she played with the bright male.

Nuri tipped his head back and laughed heartily. "Well look at you! Is this your first catch?" Still grinning, he turned to see Ling and a strange lioness enter the cave. "Do you know her?" he quietly asked Nola as Ling spoke with her. But judging by their tone of speech, she probably would be the pride's newest member after all.

Nola let Nuri's tail drop from her mouth as she saw Ling reenter the cave. When she noticed the famle come in behind him she looked at her with wonder. "Pretty..." The female's coat was a lovely shade of pink and purple and Nola suddenly wondered what she would look like when she grew up.

Nuri eyed his slightly mangled tail for a moment before looking the new lioness over. She did look tired-out, but would probably be fine after a good night's rest, like he had been. Of course, he was still rather scrawny, but he had learned to live with hunger. Ling's comment was curious and he looked at the king quizzically for a moment before pointing to Nola. "Her?" he chuckled. "She is quite the worker bee."

Ling chuckled at the comment. "She does seem to be that...that little kitten shows promise.." He looked from Nuri to Leanna. "This female is Leanna...she will be spending the night here. Unless....there are any objections?" He rose abit on his legs, ready to make his word law if need be.

Nuri nodded in absent reply as he watched Nola with a smile. When introduced to Leanna he inclined his head to the tired lioness. Frowning slightly he turned back to Ling. The king received a blank stare in response to his challenge. Nuri looked around at the kittens for an answer than back up at Ling. "Objections? From me? You must be joking, I'm not really even a member of this pride..."

Nola stood up and walked over sniffing the new lioness before smiling at her and then running over and pouncing on Xia again. "Come on! WAKE UP!!!!!!" She broke into giggles as the ball of lion below moved again.
