"My home is where my heart is and my heart is you, my King." Gold eyes were misted with tears. Fayola tucked her head under her mates, enjoying his scent. "I would like to hunt again...but I can wait. There is always time to explore but watching our cubs grow cannot be repeated."

Kall gave an understanding rumble.
"I merely want you to understand I do not want you to feel chained down... If the first thing that attracted you to this place was the adventures you could have within it.. Then you should have them.."
He purred and rubbed against her.
"I know you cannot watch them grow again... But I only wish for you to be as happy as possible.. It is all I can do for the one I love so..."

"I will have them." For now she was content listening to Keyisha tell her about the lands secrets. "And I am happy, Kall, I have everything I ever wanted."
PostPosted: Fri Apr 28, 2006 5:52 pm

Kall gave a smile and a nod.
"Then that is all I can ask for.. To have you by my side means more than life itself to me.. Know that."
He glanced out over his lands, nuzzling her. Sunset would be comming soon, and it was nearly time for him to patrol.. But until then, he was content to be curled against his love, surveying his home.

Kaminah trotted through the undergrowth, the small body easily pushing past the thorns and twigs. She had no destination in mind, just following the curve of the river. There was a waterfall nearby. The roar of it grew louder and louder in her ears.

Dashira, newly a teen, sat at the water's edge. She smiled at her reflection in the pool of water, then raised her head, relishing in the spray of the falls. She was reclining, soothed by the late afternoon breezes and the soft light, dappled by storm clouds not yet ready to burst. The wind told her rain was comming, her flakes twitching spoke of more iminent danger.

Asfodel appeared at her side with a smile. "How is my little shaman?"

"Not so little." She replied with a cheeky grin. "Aseeri just went out to fetch some herbs you told her about, and she said I was not to move from the spot until she returned.. And so I haven't."

Asfodel nodded. "Wise of you.. And yes, I do see you have grown.. Which is why I am back, to give you a new gift."

She leapt to her feet. "Another? What is it?"

Without a word he flicked at her foreleg with his tailfeathers and dissappeared, leaving behind a silver band with a white bead that matched her earring.

Dashira yelped in delight and lifted her paw, watching the silver and pearl glint against the soft green of her fur. "Thank you."

"Oooh.. Aren't we just the picture of light and hope and manners." Sneered a feminine voice. "I had thought as much."

"Who's there?" Dashira asked warily, though her voice rang strong with a bravery she did not feel.

A wicked laugh met her words, floating on the wind. "My, my.. The cub has teeth? How puuuurrfectly delightful."

"I asked who was there." Dashira growled. "Are you going to answer or do you just want to enjoy listening to yourself talk?"

"Listen well you green brat... I'm a Spirit.. A Guardian like your dear, pure Asfodel."

"Show yourself then." Dashira said softly, slightly taken back at the idea.

A black lioness appeared, stretching beneath the fall of water. It cascaded over her, but did not darken her coat, nor the feathers or flakes that shuddered in the wind. She smiled, flashing white teeth, and her eyes glowed a wicked white. "Satisfied?"

"Who are you?" Dashira murmured.

"I am Tierany to those who would name me.. And I am the balance.. The darkness to Asfodel's light.. In order to be a student of one, you must apprentice to the other as well.. Do you understand?"

Dashira nodded. "So you, you are going to teach me?"

Tierany dipped her head. "I am..."

"Very well then..."

With a soft laugh the lioness faded. "You do not sound thrilled pet.. I will give you time to get used to the idea."

As the last traces of her laughter melted away, Dashira noticed she wore a second bracelet, set with a black bead.. And a black bead hung from her earring. "Just like Asfodel's gifts."

Aseeri landed before her. "New tokens?"
The sharp eyed bird asked right away, setting down some snippets of green that she had carried in claws and beak. "The white I know.. The black I don't..."

"Tierany.. She said her name was Tierany..."

"Joy." Aseeri chirped grimly. "Just what you need.. A second Guardian by the name of Tierany."

The silver lioness continued walking until she heard voices. "Hmmm..." She deviated from her path. A green lioness caught her attention and the bird with her. "Hello."

Dashira turned with a snarl, but it melted away as she faced the 'intruder'. She cocked her head and smiled. "Why.. Hello.."

Aseeri hopped toward the silver cub and eyed her moon-marked forehead.
"Greetings StarChild." She chirped sweetly. "What brings you to Cyan Serenity? And what's your name?"

"I apologize for my feathered friend." Dashira said with a smile and a slight blush. "I'm the Shaman Dashira, and this is Aseeri.. And Cyan Serenity is this Pride Lands.. "

"I thought there was a Shaman here." Kaminah sat down and smiled. "I felt you."

Her moon-like gaze switched from Dashira to Aseeri. "Dashira and Aseeri...I am Kaminah. Moonchild actually."

Dashira nodded. "Are you a Shaman too?"

Aseeri chirruped in amusement, a cub with spirit! "Well met MoonChild Kaminah.. What brings you to Cyan? Wandering?"

Ferrian lounged in the soft grass, eyeing the passing herd with some hunger. However, the bed he had made was far too comfortable for him to leave, so he let them move on, green eyes fixed upon the weaker members. His sister had been chatting with her bird friend all day, and Keyisha had been exploring, so Ferr explored, and then relaxed.

"I am meeting those Mother would think it best for me to meet." At the mention of Mother, her eyes went skyward, picking out the Child's Moon, sitting in the daytime sky.

"No, I am no Shaman...at least not the kind of Shaman you are." Her feathers flicked around her legs, brushing the bracelet she wore. Without thought, she shook that leg, moving it.

Dashira cocked her head. "What are you then? That you can sense me? Did you feel Aseeri too?"

The little bird hopped over and perched on Dashira's shoulder, preening her feathers idly as she listened with keen interest.

"I don't know what it would be called...an Avatar?" Kaminah shrugged, moving to the waterside and peering in. "There is another like me...but she's not here yet..."
PostPosted: Sun Apr 30, 2006 4:27 pm

Dashi nodded. "Oh.. Well.. When she does appear.. I'd like to meet her..."

Aseeri chirped in agreement.
"Its frightfully facinating." The bird said with a nod. "Will you be staying awhile Kaminah?"

Dashira nodded in agreement with the bird. "Yes.. If you are.. I'd like to show you my cave, you might be more comfortable staying there...."

The baby turned her eyes away from the water. "Yes, I would be happy to." The Moon Lion trotted away from the stream and peered at the bird. "I have never seen one like you before, Aseeri."
