Plot Ideas

Plot Ideas:
- Clarence discovers his bloodlust in the moment of finding the dying rabbit. From that moment he tries learning to control it. Perhaps he can meet one of his other family members sharing the struggle and get advice on how to suppress it.
- As Clarence gets older, he learns that it's pointless to deny who he really is, even to himself. He keeps his facade around his immediate family, Though does what makes himself happy away from them. Perhaps in this plot, he seduces a mare with his sweet words, and tries to cut her open to get a taste of what he wants. Afterwards he'll have to decide what to do next. Continue doing what he pleases, or try to cover himself up again.
- I'm hoping for him to be able to come out to at least one of his siblings. If he finds that one of them shares the same desire he does, he might be a little more willing to talk to them about it and share the pain that he feels having to cover it up.

Personality: Spectrum is a... Special Soq to say the least. A little derpy, a little silly, and a little dense to the world around him, he has all the social skill of a fish, which is to say very little. He trips on his words and lacks any ability to smoothtalk someone, but he tries, oh, does he try! He's a very sweet boy, and a good, warm, loving sort. He's just kinda Derpy.
Other: Just some trivia, but he's names 'Spectrum' in concept for a pun on the ZX Spectrum Sinclaire... An old computer. XD

Plot Ideas:
1. Meet a lady to try wooing! I know I know, this is so far down the line. But I want him to like a girl and then suck at meeting them. At least until he meets Miss Right. (Until then, Miss Cheap, Miss Shallow, and Miss Snobby will do!)
2. I'd love to see him be a large stallion as an adult, with no coordination, tripping on nothing and landing on bushes. However, he's rarely seen doing it. His size scares people, and he feels really bad! He'll eventually need one friend (At worst, my Caoimhe.)
3. This one's fuzzy, but somehow I'd love to see him have a reaction to blood. He doesn't want to drink it, just kind of getz excited, or buzzed smelling it.

Basket Name: Basilio (Gypsy-Sinclair may be added as a last name.)
Temper: Saintly
Personality: Basilio will grow up to be a bit... odd. However, this is not because he has cravings for blood - indeed, he doesn't seem to have them. Instead, they've turned inward to create a sort of need for power. He's not evil by any means, he just wants to be on top of the food chain. Rather than achieve this through power struggles and violence, however, Basilio takes a "kill 'em with kindness" approach. Even as a colt, he'll play nice with his siblings, something almost unheard of among children, just to curry their favor and good opinion. Beneath this too-good-too-be-true act, however, Basilio does genuinely care for those who would be his "subjects." After all, what's a king without people to rule?
He does try to do his best to foster healthy relationships with his family. For all others, however, his emotions are off-limits and are not to be touched by anyone unless they can find out just how to get past the wall he puts up... Why he does this, not even he knows. Perhaps, when it comes down, we'll all find out.
Key Personality Points/Quirks:
- Basilio loves to look at blades. They're beautiful to his eyes, shiny and glittering and almost magical. He especially likes to look at them in moonlight.
- Like his mother, Basilio is sensitive to light, but not in the same way. Rather than having his eyes be sensitive to light, it is his skin. Extremely fragile and easily burnt even through whatever color coat he might have, Basilio is one of very few stallions that will take good care of his skin. He does this by applying as much cold water as he can find to the burns and scratches he may get just walking around during daylight. This gives a gently numbing sensation, but eventually causes further irritation and can deepen the burns. In the end, he just has to leave them alone and let them heal, and he'll have a number of light scars by the time he reaches adulthood.
- Despite any cravings for blood the maternal side of his family may have, the sight of blood makes Basilio dizzy. He has been known to faint on occasion.
- Basilio will do his best to rehabilitate any animals that his family may feed off of, despite the dizziness & fainting.
- He will eventually try to impress his kindness and love for all creatures onto everyone else. As before stated, he likes being nice to people... Whether for ambitious or simply genuine reasons, no one is sure. Including Basilio.
Other: I absolutely adore roleplay and plotting. I can be slow when it comes to tagging at times, but won't give up on an RP unless someone gives the okay. <3

Basket Name: Pascal Sinclair - means 'relating to easter/passover, or born around easter' and Sinclair is the family name (though it means 'from St. Clair'), I both like the name and thought it was appropriate since it is around Easter.
Temper: Mercurial
Personality: Pascal is ever changing his mind. He flits from one idea to the next, chasing whatever thought catches his interest. As a foal this is written off as natural in one so young, however as he matures it will become apparent that he has a naturally short attention span. Despite this, he has an excellent memory and should an abandoned idea catch his attention again he is more than capable of picking up right where he left off. At the same time, though he may temporarily forget about a slight against himself, he will eventually remember it and seek whatever vengeance he sees fit. On the other side, he will remember kindness or favors done for him at the oddest of times and due to his father's teachings, become determined to repay them immediately.
Despite the dilution of the kalona blood running in his veins, Pascal still has minor carnivorous tendencies. While he is a young foal he doesn't know of this, but when he gets a little older he follows Belle while she hunts and gets his first taste of blood. His mother finds the texture of meat to be offensive, so teaches her son the methods to getting what he wants without killing.
Other: 8D I love this family. I'm almost positive that these babins make an even 20 blood relatives of the cleaver family. We should throw a party or something. <3

Plot Ideas:
If You Feel The Burn, It's Working - Or not. Basilio's skin burns extremely easily in the sunlight, and this is the plot where he first discovers that. Having popped out of his basket recently, and due to the fact that his mother is mostly up at night, Basilio hasn't had much exposure to sunlight up until this point. However, as he's running about, chasing a sibling or something, he'll begin to feel a prickling along his shoulders, back, and rump - the first signs of a sunburn. Of course, he'd be unable to see his skin through his coat of hair and wouldn't be able to tell it was reddening. As such, as the sensation gets to the point where it begins to sting, Basilio seeks cold water. He finds this in the form of a stream, takes a bath, and lets the cool water soak into his skin... But this will eventually magnify the burn. Over time, plots associated with this will come up more and more, as his easily-burnt skin will affect how he lives his life.
Kill 'Em With Kindness - Even as a foal, Basilio is a nice guy. However, he only seems really genuine with his family. No one outside of them has ever gotten close enough to him to be able to reveal his inner workings, and the family itself can hardly say that it's brushed the surface. Someone will eventually have to get close to him, however, and bring down the facade. Before they can do that, though, he'll try to convince them that he's actually that guy - that nice, boring guy who just wants to be friends with everyone. In order for this plot to work, they'll have to persevere through all of his attempts to throw them off. After that, we'll see what really lurks behind those walls... Walls that Basilio put up to keep his need for blood in check as soon as his subconscious was able to. Whoever manages to unlock the caged beast will be in for a nightmare, with more plots to follow.
The Missionary - Before and after the dark time in his life associated with the "Kill 'Em With Kindness" plot above, Basilio will be a missionary for his cause. This cause is one to raise awareness to the plight of those who could not choose their blood and were born with cravings that they could not handle because of it. This will emerge after the first time Basilio sees one of his relatives feeding on an animal or another soquili - whether by choice, pleasure, or neither, Basilio will not see harming other animals as an acceptable option for sustenance. Rather than accept this, he takes it upon himself to take care of any wounded animals set upon by those with blood-drinking or meat-eating heritage, doing his part to set right the wrongs in the world. He will also offer counseling and something akin to spiritual healing for any soquili that have become mentally or emotionally scarred due to cravings that they cannot understand.

Plot Ideas:
Meet ALL the family!: Woot. Cliche plot is cliche (and so is like, 90% of that bit). HOwever, since we are making a big push to gather the far-flung family back together, it is more significant than it would otherwise be. I would also like to have him meet the Gypsy side of the family, assuming they are still active. With Cleavers, there is some big family reunion coming. Maybe Luc and Sangria can tease Belle that she's the last to procreate or something, while Pascal gags at the thought of the word 'procreate'.
Blood...: As I said in his personality post, Pascal has a diluted carnivorous craving because of his mother's family line. He doesn't really notice it as a kid, but one day he follows Belle (and maybe Odette is with her too?) when she goes to hunt and the sight of blood makes him salivate. He asks if he can try some and finds it to his liking though he still doesn't have much of a need for it. Belle recognizes the damage has already been done and so she teaches him 'her' way of hunting. Mother-son bonding tiems. Also maybe he tries to get Odette over her issues regarding craving but not needing blood. Because their father taught him it is wrong to kill, he has no problem upholding his mother's philosophy of 'catch and release'.
(Note: Pascal will be aware of his mother's oddities before he finds out he shares some of them.)
A debt: Someone helps him or does him a favor and he forgets to even say thank you due to his somewhat space-y personality. A long time later he remembers but they are not around for him to repay. He goes on a quest (possibly his first venture out into the world on his lonesome) to find and repay them.
Interessante...: Pascal has a naturally short attention span, but when it is caught on something his interest burns brightly. Because of this he has odd puddles of knowledge about many random or unrelated things. Also, any time he hears of something interesting be it person, soquili, place, etc., he wants to go investigate. As a child this is facilitated by day trips accompanied by one or both of his parents/siblings. As an adult this leads to him traveling for a majority of the year and collecting odd things.
I know, some kind of bland plots. Dx I will add more/tweak as I think of them but all my creative juice is going towards school and getting the Sinclair herd thread up sometime soon.

Plot Ideas:
01. Caught! :: I'd love for someone to catch him while in the grasp of his bloodlust. This would have the potential to expose his alternate personality to his family. He'd most likely respond either in violence or panic, attacking them or begging for their secrecy. If the other soq involved in this plot is manipulative it may lead to blackmail or something wonderfully twisted.
02. Just Like Me :: Claudius comes across someone like him. Either someone that's suffering with some kind of mental anguish or someone that struggles with some form of bloodlust. He'd be curious of them and their likeness to him, and he would most likely attempt to befriend them since he could be himself around them. This could potentially lead to romance if it ends up being a mare like him.
03. Family Ties :: Claudius doubts himself as usual. How can his family have such control over their bloodlust? He finds himself venturing off to find other members of the Sinclair family to see if they are the same. [ Basically a meet the family plot ]

Temper: Accepting
Personality: Cornelius seems to be a unique blend of his two parents, from his father he has inherited a rigid morality, a strong sense of right and wrong that he is unwilling to compromise for any reason. From his mother comes a fierce protective nature that means he is (unlike his father) willing to take a more proactive approach to protecting those around him. Cornelius however is not one to judge a book by its cover, and certainly wouldn't strike out until a threat has been proven. While bold and certain in the face of a moral unfairness Cornelius is almost bashful in everyday life, a quiet colt who will grow into a gentlemanly stallion, he is the hero from the background who might be over looked until action is necessary.
Other: OMG..love this basket! It was my fav of the batch and the families unique backstory just makes it all the more appealing.

Plot Ideas:
The Right Way - I would love for there to be a bit of a father to son tension at some point, nothing that would ever truly get between them but more of the typical growing pains that every father and son develop at some point. With Cornelius possessing the ability to act first rather then simply in defense I can see his father perhaps getting a bit worried and having 'a talk' about being to brash.
Not all Black and White - I think it would be great for Cornelius to have a run in with a particularly judgmental group of Soquili. Perhaps he will spend a bit of time trying to change their minds, perhaps they will think him an aversion to Soquili kind due to his own mixed blood and try to fight him - that would really depend on the other group involved, but I know of several such close minded groups this could work with.
Learning to Forgive - Being fiercely protective and loyal to those he counts as part of his group is all fine and dandy, but sometimes past actions have to be forgiven, sometimes other circumstances led to the offences that need to be understood before jumping to conclusions. I would love for Cornelius to learn this lesson, perhaps he is betrayed by a love only to be faced with helping her later, or perhaps someone attacks his family due to false information about his mothers habits...it could go many different ways and would likely take several RPs to work through.
