Kara's gaze went from the group to the door as steps would be heard and the old mayor opened the door. "Ah... hello again. Please come in," he said before stepping aside so they could come inside if they chose to do so. "How did the mission go?"

Lily would look at the mayor as he asked about their mission "it went well...despite the trouble she gave...but she wouldn't even talk...so...we took it..." she stated "lets just hope this is what she said it was because she destroyed her own home"

"Here's the artifact. How fast can we produce the antidote?" Daniel asked, being the first to step inside, yet he would keep the artifact. Given it was relatively heavy, not that it was much of an effort to carry it because of it's weight, but rather, not knowing how delicate the artifact was, gave Daniel the "excuse" to keep his hands on it.
After noting the old man was still there, and that everything else seemed to be normal, Illo took this time to tie up his burro and give it some water. A little metal dish he packed worked as a watering bowl for the faithful donkey.
"Good boy..."

The old man looked over at Lily before noticing the witch's soul "Very unfortunate... I didn't wish it would have come to this..." he said before his gaze shifted to the machine in the box that Daniel had. The mayor seemed to tear up a little bit "Oh... Thank you so much. With this, we should have the antidote ready in a matter of minutes even,"he said before walking outside. "Quickly, let us go to the greenhouse where the flowers are. Now that we have that device, we can start making the antidote for the town. Oh... Thank you again. You have no idea how much this means to me and the village," the man said. He seemed very happy and was muttering to himself about how the village would be back to normal again. Kara decided to follow behind him since he didn't seem hostile at all.

Daniel merely followed. Dragging the artifact all the way to the green house. So far so good. He expected, or more likely wished, it remained this way.
Not getting the memo, Illo lagged behind the group. He brought his broom just in case and followed their voices as best he could. Soon he was at the entrance to a greenhouse. The botanical arrangement here was pretty extensive. Illo knew a few of the species, but the rest were new and exotic jewels for his eyes to dote on.

"The antidote is a liquid," The mayor replied before making it to a small greenhouse. He opened the door then and stepped inside. There were a ton of plants but the majority seemed to be a gold flower. There were tons of them on a bunch of tables. Clearly this was the flower that held the antidote to the virus that was attacking the town. The mayor then made a bit of space on the table and patted it "Here, place the device here," he stated before grabbing on of the flowers.

Lily entered the greenhouse after the mayor "then...how do you plan to give them the cure...injections...if so that would take a long time" she stated before she would walk near where the device would be placed watching carefully.

Keeping with tradition, the Iron Phoenix watched by as the ingredients were assembled. This was it! The moment of truth...!
Somehow it didn't seem so dangerous, though. Illo couldn't help wondering what could go wrong. Though, it could be said that this was the most dangerous time; that the time in which things were present as most innocuous, that indeed was the time to be on edge--the wolf ready with its midnight-colored maw surrounding us already? Illo was inclined to think so, regarding this, and so stayed where he was.

"Ah well, once it's liquid, what the ill have to do is drink it," The Mayor explained as he prepped the device. There were three parts of the device, two bracelets and a box with multiple small buttons and a lever on it. The man took one bracelet and clamped it around the flower he had before pressing a button on the box. The clear gem like object that was on the bracelet began glowing then as the old man paused for a moment before pressing a few more buttons and then attaching the second bracelet with a red gem to his wrist. He paused again before pulling the lever on the box. The flower and the witch's soul began to glow then and slowly liquid began seeping out of it and floating in mid air. The liquid was covered by a veil of light before it began hovering over to the mayor and stayed floating in his hand that had the bracelet on it. "There we are," he said, a small smile appearing on his face before opening his mouth and drinking the liquid. He paused again before smiling and turning to look over at the group "When this device reacts to the witch soul, it is able to quickly get the nectar extract from the plant out and conserve it in the process. Meanwhile, if we didn't have this machine, it would have been quite a hassle to get the nectar out and if we did, the process would take to long and by the time we finished the nectar would be useless." The man turned off the device then and flipped the bracelet off of his wrist before fully turning towards the group "I cannot thank you enough for helping us like this... I'll get the word out and start having the able bodied of our town come up here to help get the medicine taken to those affected by this virus. It's thanks to you that we are saved and don't have to worry about any more deaths," he said.

Lily would see the witches soul react to the device "you never told us to actually bring the soul...what if we didn't kill her?" she asked as she saw him drinking the liquid "well...if thats the case then...our jobs done here" she stated before placing the soul near the device "what you think daniel...safe to say this missions over then?" she asked him before sighing as she wanted to leave the place based on the experiences she already experienced.
