Username: Cheyriddle4 Word Count: 250 The Story: There once were two brothers. One was gentle and kind while the other was quite the jealous stallion with a volatile attitude. The eldest would watch as the youngest would make numerous friends and get praise from their parents. This caused a rift between the brothers as the eldest felt like such a weak stallion as his brother should not be more popular as him. Tensions grew as time moved on until the eldest brother decided to do something sinful.
He asked his brother to meet him in the rocky outcropping between the two towns in the kanto region. The sun bears down on them as he watches his brother approach from his spot behind a rock. When his brother moves past him is when he strikes. Bounding out from his hiding place he slams into his brother knocking him down. Hooves plummeling down upon the felled stallion who struggles to get up. A fight ensures which seems to go on for ages. Yet with a high pitched scream the little brother falls. Bloody with a spear peirced into his chest. Helpless as he struggles for his last few breaths. When he passes his brother goes home. Telling a lie on his death to his family.
To this day there are some that come across him in a ghostly form. On that rocky outcropping, by the stream, and in the high grass fields where they used to frolic and play. Always asking the same question. " Why was I to die?"

I CAN ONLY WIN SURPRISE FAMILIARS
Username: ChaosTheories Word Count: 153 The Story:
This story is completely true. Once when I was a child, my family visited a restaurant that was inside an old, historical house. My mother took my sister and I to the bathroom, which was on the upper floor. I was the first one finished so I waited by the mirrors, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw a lady dressed in a dress patterned with dark roses and a matching hat reflected in the mirror. I just thought someone else had entered the room to use the facilities.
"Did you see the other lady?" I asked my mother when we were leaving.
She hadn't.
Years later I learned that the house was supposed to be haunted. One of the stories was of a lady who could only be seen in the bathroom mirror out of the corner of your eye.
They do say children are more sensitive to spirits...

Username: Revolutionary Roniel Word Count: 105 words The Story: In the Padmapani herd, there is a ghost story that is told sometimes. Maitreya keeps his rock garden meticulously neat, and though he would not begrudge anyone who wanted to take up the hobby alongside him, he is the only one who tends it. Still, sometimes after a particularly dark night, the herd will awake to find that someone, or something has moved the rocks to new positions. No one ever has admitted to it, and some think it may be a ghost, maybe even the ghost of the old mare Avalokiteshvara herself, come back to try to join her grandson in his favorite hobby.

((I discovered the most amazing thing a few months back. Two-sentence horror stories. Once you get the hang of them, they are so fun to make... like so...))
A man was flipping through photos on his phone and found pictures of himself sleeping. He lives alone.
A woman was enjoying a night in, when she heard knock at the door. She got up and opened it, only to hear the knock again, coming from the closet behind her.
A man with a dark past started his life fresh and had himself a lovely family, a beautiful home, and a steady job. He thought he'd left it all behind him, until the day his four-year-old son asked him, "Hey Daddy, why is there always a man covered in red paint following you everywhere?"

A man sits in bed, having just woken from a nap. A baby monitor sits on the nightstand beside him, allowing him to listen after his baby son. He suddenly hears his wife singing to his son, "Go to sleep... go to sleep.... go to sleep, little baby...." He smiles and gets out of bed to go into the living room, baby monitor in hand. The front door opens suddenly and there stands his wife, laden down with groceries. He hears a hiss of air behind him and a loud scream, causing him to spin around....

Username: DarkenWoodWolf Word Count: 148 The Story: Once there was a house with a family, but that's not what was important about this house. You see, everyone thinks ghosts are bad, they cause mischief and mayhem. But such was not the case with this house, where the ghosts wanted little else to protect the family living inside. There were three, two that guarded the house from anything trying to get in, and one that guarded the room of the smallest child. They took the form of wolves, though that is not what they were when they were alive. Well, probably not. After all, who can be sure what form a soul took before, when all you see are ghostly eyes watching, and the occasional flick of an almost transparent tail. Where how you know them best is the sound of a howl that you can't quite hear, but you can feel in your very bones.

Username: dawns_aura Word Count: ~130 The Story: Once it had been just a doll. Much beloved by a little girl. It had accompanied her everywhere. Experienced everything with her. And slowly, slowly, it began to develop a personality, a soul. It was now a living thing.
But like all little girls do, she grew up. And tossed aside the things of her childhood. Including the doll. Much patched and worn, the beloved scraps of fabric were thrown away without a second thought. Abandoned. Rejected. Alone.
The doll didn't know, couldn't understand. Why was it tossed aside? Why was it now among the trash? Why?
It grew angry. Bitter. And started to haunt around. Seeking others like itself. They would not have to be alone anymore. And one day, one day they would get revenge on those who wronged them.

Username: Uta Word Count: 261 words... I'm also terrible with spooky stories. Sorry if this one is lame or not scary enough.
The Story: Once upon a time there was a little white kawani foal. He had grown up alone, and was lonely for friends. One day, he met a littleblack foal! The two were the best of friends and did everything together.
One day, the little black foal decides to introduce his friend to his family. They go off together to seek out the family. "Mom, Dad, I want you to meet my best friend!"
The mare and stallion look at their son, and blink. "What do you mean, son?" His father asks.
The little black foal looks confused, and says, "My friend. Right here. He's all white, and doesn't have a family. He was lonely, just like me."
The mare and stallion look at one another, before walking towards their son. "Hey! I'm right here! Don't you see me?" Says the little white foal.
"Son, I think you're just imagining things. Come along now -- there's no one here. If you really are lonely, well find some real foals for you to play with."
The little white colt followed his black friend for weeks, trying desperately to get him to play, wanting nothing more than to get his friend back. He was certain he was real, wasn't he? But nobody else seemed to see him, except the little black colt, who grew up scared of the little colt that nobody else could see.
Rumor has it he drove the black colt crazy by haunting him, begging him to play. Beware the spirit of the white foal... It might want to play with you next!

Note: I'm not eligible for a familiar
Username: Summer Raaven Word Count: 243 The Story: They say that there is a man in a white shirt who lives in the woods. There is no road leading into these woods, so the fact that he lives there is a mystery. His cabin is run-down, empty, save for a small rocking chair. A lone post sits outside the cabin, with a dog chain attached to it. There is no dog, but the collar is clear as day. They say, if you get close enough to see the collar, the man comes up behind you and locks the collar around your neck. They say, if you're a child, you're in even more danger, because children are his favorite snack...
I told that story to my friends when I was 6. I lived in front of woods, so it was the perfect story to scare my friends. It's a silly story, but it's completely made up. I was 6, give me a break! Anyway, not long after that, a man came out of the woods, wearing a white shirt. He slowly started to walk toward us. We ran, obviously. Ran like the wind. A year or so later, the same group of friends and I were walking the small path in the woods. We came across a cabin -- very run down, very empty. There was nothing in the cabin but a rocking chair. There was a post near the cabin, with a dog chain/collar attached to it. We heard a voice...
***This is a true story btw***
