"The stars?" she asked as she debated mentally in her head whether to go next to him or not. She slowly made her way towards him, her paws touching the den delicatly. "Beauty, I suppose. They light the darkness of the night sky." She looked at them, "Mystery maybe." She peered to him, "What do you think of them." she asked curiously. She looked at the cub. "He'll be fine, he'll eat in the morning if not now." She bumped into him playfully as he did when he pawed her.

Mandolin sat off under near a rock and watched the others interacting. He felt happy to be amoung a pride again. His eyes lingered on Niobe as she went to feed the stranger. There was something about her that mezmurized him. He let out a sigh as she disapeared from view and then shook his head. He then ventured over and got a portion of the kill for him to eat but not staying too close to interupt the converation already in progress.

He was halfway between awake and asleep when the rich scent of blood penetrated his nose. The Pheonix lifted his head and listened. Someone was coming. With food. His stomach growled loudly, much to his embarrassment.

Her tail swayed out behind her as she sauntered towards the stranger, her bright lavender eyes danced in the faded light as she lowly came upon the unknown lion. She continued forward until she lowered her head and lowered the meat at his paws.
Lifting her head, she licked the blood from her muzzle and bowed her head to him softly. "Evening stranger." She said softly, her tones were sweet and sorrowful.

He bowed lowly, the same as he had done with Benoni. "Good evening to you, my lady." The scent of blood made his mouth water. Yet he did not move, would not until he was given permission. This Pride did not trust him and he did not want to give them reason to turn him away.

She stepped back shyly, she lowered to her hind haunches, not ready to go back any time soon. She liked the feel of the breeze ruffling her coat. "You should eat." She said kindly as she nudged the meat closer to him with her nose.

He stared at the stars for a long moment, he then looked at her. "Stars are the great animals of the past, the ones who wrote the laws we all live by today, everyday a new star is born upon the earth." He nodded his head, and glanced at the cub. "Yes, he is a strong little tyke isnt he?" He grinned at her bump and lifted a paw and pawed at her once more playfully.

He bobbed his head in thanks. The Pheonix ate, carefully and politely. When he had all he could hold the teen retreated back to the tree trunk. "My name is Asiam." He bowed his head again, the wings on his back ruffling.

She grinned as he explained his thoughts upon the stars and she accepted his ideas. She turned to the cub, "Very." She looked at him, "You never give up do you?" she asked as she nipped at his ears and pawed at his mane rather childlike and innocent. "It's getting late." she replied with a yawn.

"Never." He grinned, his words held a deeper meaning that would take play at a later date. He nodded, "Aye its getting late." He slowly rose to his paws. "Mandolin, come in its time to rest for the evening." He said as he then glanced to Cyimmi. "You as well." he said, this time his tone left no room for buts. Turning his gaze to Kelia, he motioned with his head that she go in first. "C'mon, lets let the professionals rest." He smirked playfully.
She watched him closely, she'd seen many in her days. More than she'd like to remember, but he was interesting. His coloring amazed her, she smiled and bowed her head to him. " I am Niobe, its a pleasure to meet you Asiam.." She said with another soft smile. "Was your meal good?" she asked with a tilt of her head.

"Yes, Lady Niobe." Asiam smiled softly, watching her in the dark. "You are the King's sister?"

She nodded her head a bit as she looked at him with her azure eyes, as she passed him she flicked her tail at his chin as if to tag him again. She then padded to a comfertable resting place and she lay herself down so she felt a bit of security and was snug. Her ears flickered forward as she rested her head upon her paws again and gave another brief yawn in which her long pink tounge slid from its resting place and then recoiled back.

" Yes, I am his sister. Twin infact." She nodded her head, twins were rare and they were proud of one another. "But please, just call me Niobe." She offered another smile, she tilted her head. "You could slumber closer to the den you know." She felt odd about him being so far away. Memories began to dance in her mind, images's she fought to hide away.
He grinned at her as she passed, oh indeed she was a pleasure to have around. He padded in after her, the darkness of the cave caused his markings to glow out, the writting on his face, and the skull on his flank all glowed brightly as he padded past her, running his tail down her side.
Coming upon a higher platform, he leaped upon it claiming it as his. He could look upon everyone in the roomy cave, he slid down to his belly, his paws hung over the edge as he looked around. He too yawned, a small roar echoed out while he did so, his long cottoncandy colored tongue curled in the base of his mouth as he did so, before his jaws snapped closed.

Her brow raised at him giving him a 'your lucky your up their' look. The lioness was far to tired to stay up however, she sighed heavily and her eyes slowly began to drift into slumber. She then remembered Niobe and was starting to wonder where she was, her head perked up again watching the entrance intently as if in a trance however her expression was more of curiousity.

((Sorreh about not posting, busy busy with exams... crying ))
Cayimmi had been peaking at Asiam, interested to see if the wings were really there, but his intents of watching longer to go poke at the feathers were cut short by Tequila. "The sun hasn't set yet, so I have some more time." he said, turning grumpy. Drat, now the male had seen him! He'd have to be more direct now... Pity, he liked the stalking... but even that was interefered with, as Kila grabbed him by his neck, his cub reflex kicking in. "Let me go..." he groaned, growling lowly in the process.
The sight of food, however, pulled him off from his annoyance. His stomach had been fairly empty for a few days, as he lacked the practical skill to hunt decently. Cayimmi's pride, though, refrained him from digging in the meat like the hunger he felt impelled him to, though. So, he chomped wehn no one was looking, and drew back to himself when either Kila or Benoni looked back. When the King called it was time to go in, Cayimmi had glomped his fair share down.
At first, the cub was to whine, but Benoni's tone didn't leave any room for excuses. No more star gazing... Cayimmi surprised himself with a yawn. If he hadn't been tired, then that would be a surprise... Padding inside, his eyes half closed, he snuggled against Kila, falling asleep instantly with a smile.
