Gotta be Balthier from FFXII.
I just love the way he talks, plus hes got to be one of the smartest FF characters cos he uses a gun instead of going right up close to the enemy.
So basically: Balthier is da bomb!!!

my favorites have to be Zell from FFVIII, Zidane and Freya from FFIX, Auron from FFX and Paine from FFX-2. overall my absolute favorite has to be Paine because she's such a unique main character being the cold voice of reason of the party as well as being funny in her own way.

yeah, they're like, so totes opposites, but I like how Tifa's kind of a tragic heroine. And Rikku had sort of an intelligence everyone overlooked. Well, she had it in X at least.
