I had three years of high school German, and a semester of French in my first year of college. Sadly, I remember more of the French than I do the German.

Valley Girl slang?

She's a Valley Girl
Fer sure, fer sure,
She's a Valley Girl
And there is no cure!

Totally! wink

There was a guide to Valley Girl slang, too, when it was big.

Hah...that reminds me of that song we'd sing whenever the cheerleaders came out. It's lame...overdone...and it's back again with a vengence! xd :

Like, totally
Fer sure!
I just got my manicure
The sun, I swear
It's bleaching out my gorgeous hair
So 24....34...
I don't even know the score
But Go Go
Fight Fight
Gee I hope I look alright...

You never told me you knew retro slang, Barentine!
lol what can I say? For anyone who's interested in using slang for the era the roleplay's set in, check out http://www.inthe80s.com/glossary.shtml and http://www.inthe90s.com/generated/terms.shtml Since it's early 90's, mix a bit of both - but try to avoid the more modern ones from the 90's.

Have you ever seen Utena in Italian?
:0!! No I haven't! But now... I want to! I think I've heard the Italian opening for Utena but that's about it. I wonder if i could get my hands on Utena Italian dub up here? hmm... *searches*

Haha I could probably switch the tapes and get my nonna to watch Italian Utena instead of her soaps on the foreign channels. xd ; she'd kill me... or worse, throw her slippers at me...

There isn't a psecial Utena opening in Italian, at least not on my tapes. It's just the same as the Japanese version. sweatdrop

La Rivoluzione di Utena ! sweatdrop Barentine, that song I sent you (it was so long ago? how can you still remember?) was just some random girl singing along to a karaoke version of Utena in Italian. It wasn't official or anything! rofl

Lets see... I asked my artist friend to do a few sketches of Dorian for me, and he did!

And now, ladies and gentlemen, I present to you (after being ghetto scanned by my webcam!)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/Tseng/dorian.bmp
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/Tseng/doriangrey.bmp

along with this random picture I found on my photobucket account.

I noticed that too! (good, I wasn't going crazy) I was about to say, If anyone here is familiar with the fruits basket series, just look up Arisa Uotani XD; change the hair/eye color and the uniform and you're all set. She really does look a lot like her.
