But I dunno if he'd wanna get all his jewelry wet? Hmm... it's still a nice image either way. *licks lips* I wanna draw that. (well, not ALL of that...XD)

But, um I like Jououchi's erm, Joey's voice. A lot of my family is from around there, it's kinda comforting. I like it better than his Japanese voice actually. But, I understand that a lot of people don't like it.
Funny thing is my favorite character used to be Bakura until forever. Probably for six months... then I went to the dark side...
....quite literally, Malik is much darker than Bakura.

It's not that I mind the accent so much (though it does bother me a little bit when dubbers randomly give characters such distinct accents when they're not actually from said place) but it's just the pitch of his voice. XD;; It's so... high and retarded-sounding. Kind of like Marik's. Wow, soul-mates, even in the dub! XD

I don't know about Malik getting his jewelry wet... I read a fanfic a long time ago where he was obessed with his gold stuff and it just seemed to me that if he was, he'd go into the shower with it on in order to protect it... or just to see himself looking all sexy and shiny when he gets out of the shower... *pauses*
I'd like to go to sleep with that image in my mind...
Ah Kitsune! What about Bakura's accent? It's totally unrelated to him! He's from Japan not England! *flails* But it does make him sound cute. *squee*

Ah well, it is annoying during season one, but later... it seems to get better. I think they changed it not only in the Japanese version, but also the english. Either that or he finally hit puberty.

Well, it just seemed like they gave him a deeper voice at the final season and got the unnecessary accent under control. XD

Bakura's dub voice is what's blasphemy! D:< It just isn't right for Bakura to be played by a male in ANY LANGUAGE! He... he's supposed to sound FEMININE...!!! crying

Not in the Japanese version! D: He's played by a woman, and I think it suits him a lot better. (like Kurama in Yuu Yuu Hakusho, who is played by Ogata Megumi)

I don't like when boy's are voiced by girls... it makes me less attracted to them... -.- *sobs in another corner* ...and the point of them being boys is for me to look at their sexiness... crying ... how can I do that when they have a non sexy girl voice?! @_@

Uh, well I liked Kenshin's voice... he was done by Mayo Suzukaze *female* originally... and it pisses my other friends off. But it fit him better than Hayworth's voice.
Kinda like Yamaguchi fits Inuyasha better than Ian.
And yes, I think we would have gotten a much different impression of Bakura's laugh if it had been the chick. He sounds sexy when he laughs.
