She giggled as the tune she played was rather lame. Oh well. At least it got her out, right? Daaiji wiped her fingers on her clothes before leaving the parlor and sifting through the debris to pick up the blessing.

Sarviur found the hotel again, rundown and lovely.
Was there more more debris than he remembered? It was piled high, today, and Sarviur could not figure out how he was supposed to get around it, or how he had on previous visits.

Ruse returned to the blue rose in search of another blessing she could obtain. But this also meant she had to go through the broken remains of the building.

Brushing the broken glass of her head, Ruse stepped over the shards and ended up with a series of bookcases in her way. When she tried to remove them, the shadow pulled her hand back as she felt the splinters pierce her skin.

Sarviur had never had this much difficulty getting through the hallway before. There was debris piled high everywhere he looked, and Sarviur was frankly quite confused as to what he was supposed to do in the face of it.

She managed to get out of the way of the shelves by kicking them, sending dust everywhere, and then jumped over the remains as she headed for the end of the hallway.

A beam swung down from the roof, and Sarviur's usually sensitive ears didn't manage to detect its descent: it cracked, heavy, against his head, and he gave a shout.

What was going on? Sarviur certainly hoped that the other shadow making her way through didn't laugh at him.
