His introduction was half-interrupted by the pretty blonde ghoul, and Nuk's attention swiveled curiously to Freya, watching her inspect his tattoos with an overall completely bewildered look. Because... he was pretty sure he didn't know her. At all. Sure, he might have seen her before in passing... or had that been another ghoul... but nothing that warranted such a close inspection of his... person. Giving her a long, unabashed stare, he quirked an eyebrow as she gave a fangirl-y sigh, watching her flutter a few inches off the ground before landing promptly.
Well.
"So if ya like him so much, go talk to him."
And that was his 'friendly advice for the day.' Turning back to Amrita and Nergui, Nuk quirked an eyebrow at him curiously, shrugging.

One final wince, then he grabbed her hands (to keep them away from his nethers) and dragged her out onto the dance floor. The music was slow. And lame. But he could work with it- yeah. "Your move, ghoulie."

"CURSES UPON YEH, MAC." Freya swiveled around and pointed a finger at his nose, wiggling it slightly, before she let him be and gave Nuk an annoyed glance. "Are yeh crazy? I mean, sure, I cans just goes up teh Johnny Danger and talks teh him now, but I won't, because I has a boilfriend!" A boilfriend she'd lost track of, at some point. Was he at the DJ booth? She craned her head to check, and distractedly continued to talk to Nuk. "Does yeh even knows who he is?" It was far more important to keep her fellow students informed on the fact that a celebrity was in their midst.. rather than go fawn over said celebrity. " Johnny Danger is.. well he's.. I mean he's.. a superstars." She sighed the last word, and started staring at said superstar again. "And he's right there. Looks at him. Just.." Her hands flailed around wildly and her voice hitched higher. "Just right there holding butts with some random ghoul like a proper rockstar should." She gave JD the thumbs up, clearly pleased at his inappropriate actions, then turned back to Nukpana. "I don't remembers yeh with baldhead." She commented idly, reaching out to rub the side of his head. "When yeh does that?" Ah yes, she remembered you, Nukpana - even if you didn't remember her.

Lysippe strut over to JD and tried to move with his rhythm. Although it didn't match the song beats very well. She figured he knew best.

Calder was not far. He had been lingering around the dancefloor, whom he placed in a chair, and was sitting in his lap waiting for a slow song for them to dance to when he noticed the horsemen he had invited. Perking, he turned to Barth and bumped his beak beside his head. "Oh. Sorry. Stupid mask is so long. I don't know how Mal doesn't take an eye out. I see someone I know. I'm going to see if she wants a dance I promised her. You just sit here and look handsome." Calder rose up and looked at Barth, before grinning. "Yeah, just like that."
Turning, he jumped up and waved to the ghoul, lifting up his mask a bit for her to see his face.

Taima's attention was focused on Sal and his unhelpful friend, so Danny suddenly screeching her name and pouncing on her from behind took her completely by surprise. Both her arms and her wings flailed in a bid to keep herself upright. "Well," she started as Danny came around and faced her, "I was talking to Sal here when he suddenly like, keeled over, so I called for help and this guy," she gestured to the as yet unidentified person, "comes and asks if Sal needs help like, what, you have to make sure it's okay to help someone before they die coughing or something?" She shook her head in bewilderment. "Do all of Amityville's social functions happen like this?" It's okay, Danny, clearly Taima wasn't on that career path either. She turned back to Sal at the sound of his voice, her wings drooping in visible relief that he wasn't, in fact, going to die. "Sal! What just happened here? Are you going to be okay?" Taima asked, retrieving Sal's abandoned cup of punch and handing it down to him.

Wait a... "NO. NO. NO." The boob action was admittedly nice in fast forward but the face was...gag. Me. With. A spoon. He knew he should've insisted to his dad that his date's mask be a paper bag. He reached for her arm- a nice, neutral area. "You look...uh. Yeah. Look babe, that's. Dancing isn't... Just say no."

When Enzo got dancing, it was awfully hard to stop him from dancing. Charlestoned, Foxtrotted, Shagged, Waltzed, Swung and jitterbugged as much as Mjoll could stand, only stopping when the room seemed to all his and attention drawn to the resident celebrity. He had just begun to move onto Big Appling when he slowed to frown over at the blue-haired demon in his garish outfit. "Who in Halloween is that cat?"

Alexander was busy dealing with the strange mixture of feelings rolling through him. Excitement, happiness, nervousness, mixed with just a touch of anxiety. It was all almost too much for the poor zomboil to take but as time went on and they both (mostly) fell into the groove of the music he seemed to be able to calm down and just enjoy himself. He tried to focus on Yin without worrying too much about those around them, except in the few instances when they had to avoid collisions. He did stumble a little awkwardly over his shoes a couple of times, but if anybody noticed...well, this was Alexander, after all, and he wasn't exactly graceful at the best of times. Still, it was like a whole different force took over the zomboils body while he was on the dance floor. He had rhythm, moved almost effortlessly in time to the music, and was able to very gently guide Yin through while giving him small nods and an encouraging smile. When the weremantis finally moved his hand up to Alex's shoulder it was a welcome surprise, and his smile broadened to a wide grin. "Yes, you are doing very well." He leaned in to say so as to be heard better over the music, his voice still a bit rough but improving. He tightened his hold on Yins waist and hand then, a mischievous glint in his eyes just before he swung around into a spin. As the song came to an end, Alex stopped, though he was loathe to now let go of his partner, his hand slowly easing away from Yin's side even as he listened to the new tune that began to play. It was maybe slightly slower, and had a country sort of twang to it. So swaying side to side or two stepping really seemed to be the options available, and Alex thought it was probably just best to quit while he was ahead. And so, in a grand and very gentlemanly gesture, Alex released Yin's hand, reached up to take off his hat, and tucking his other arm up to his chest gave his boilfriend a sweeping and dramatic bow, while grinning from ear to ear. "Thank you for the dance, Yǐn Cáng." Before straightening up and plopping his hat back down on his head. "That was fun." He hoped Yin had enjoyed it as well, or at least enough that he might want to do it again later. Taking the other boils hand in his, he began moving back off of the dance floor, shoes stirring up glitter as he shuffle-stumbled along. "Is there anything you'd like to do now? Maybe grab something to drink?" he thought Yin at least might be thirsty, even if he himself was not.

Mjoll did her best to keep up, there were a few steps that she did indeed miss. Holy Horses batman Enzo could move. For such a baggy outfit. The Jewel crafter was pleased when there was finally a pause in his dancing.... She was about to suggest getting food when suddenly. "What in the name of all that is unholy is THAT."
She stared, "It's a crime to beauty and fashion." The horsewoman continued pausing, "I don't know who that cat is, but he needs to return those clothes to the nearest dump. Even I couldn't make those look better. No matter how much I tried."
Mjoll made a face, "Lets go.... get something to drink."Somewhere behind the couple and probably loud enough for them to hear. Willow was cursing despite holding onto Roch's arm. "Jackdamit you speak of the devil and he shows up. Johnny Danger better not have killed something to get that jacking ugly jacket."
Well.... there was Enzo's answer.Ice Queen ((sorry I had to throw this in there for an appropriate reaction time.))

With the terms agreed upon, the strix was eager to begin. He waitied patiently through the countdown but.. he squawked. DID SHE JUST TRY AND CHEAT?! He was so shocked by her unladylike display that he was thrown off his game. He was giggling. Giggling so hard that he couldn't eat properly. He slurped and crunched and choked down the food but by the time he was done, his date seemed to he happily watching him. "You, my lady, are a sneak!" It was accompanied by an affectionate chortle.

"Sorry to take you at your word, kelpie-boil!" Heidla was happy to see Calder, even in that outrageous mask. It made her smile - and made her feel less prejudiced towards the creatures of Halloween. " Now this is supposed to be the best of your world, isn't it? I am curious to know it", she grinned teasingly. " Your friends and your foes alike... and your mask, of course. The one that excited my curiosity just for long enough not to be bored". Well, she seemed more sociable than that day in the swamps. Nervous, again, but in a different way. And definitely friendly. For those who knew horsemen well enough, it would have been a surprise: horsemen, especially those of high-rank, were rarely friendly even among their own circle, not to mention non-clan creatures. But Heidla was ready to be changed and accept this new world, so she couldn't care less about horsemen stereotypes. Besides, having been shown that care and kindness were possible, she wanted to experience it herself - to take and to give with her whole heart and her whole being, and that is why she was so excited. She wanted Calder to show her the new world that could be opened to her, so her eyes were bright and eager. Deep in her heart there was a gnawing fear of being rejected as a burden, but she was a priestess, after all, and priestesses make perfect actresses. So her face was a mask of polite interest and friendly tease.

The demon followed along willingly enough. He could tell almost immediately that, as he had guessed, this song required a quicker set of steps. No lingering glances, no near-rubbing, just training. West watched her feet for a short while, then looked up again, trying to concentrate on what she had taught him out in the woods. True, he was still looking into her eyes almost to the exclusion of everything else, but it wasn't distracting like it had been. It just... was. "Y'know, yer pretty good at this," he said, taking another peek at the floor. He recalled how she had stomped around with Mot last year and how angry he had been over her hillbilly antics. What a difference a year makes. "Almost makes me feel like lessuf an idiot." He smirked and shook his head faintly.
